Warm welcome on check-in by Jenny. We had been selected, the guests for the day. We received complementary parking for the duration of the stay, a sweet treat in our room, and two vouchers for a drink in the bar. The location was ideal for the purpose of our visit. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast on site was very good, especially from a gluten-free aspect. There was a clearly marked area containing gluten-free items and a separate toaster to use, I was also given an allergy guide to check what hot food items were safe for me.

The only thing that was a negative, was the water coming through the ceiling in the bar area.

A little on the expensive side. Accessible room was very good. Bed really comfortable. The TV remote did not want to turn TV on, all other buttons fine. Probably need a new remote. There were 2 holes in the quilt cover. Breakfast very very good. Food at night reasonable price and lovely. Staff very friendly, even remembered us!!. One big problem we had was parking. There was a conference at the hotel and the carpark was full. I know that is not the hotels fault necessarily, but it was a problem. Other than my minor moans, very good hotel, very close to motorway, easy to find. We used a taxi to get into Cheltenham, cost 11.50. they also made sure the car was big enough for my mobility scooter.

We used the cafe and bar only. The coffee and drinks were good and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel was very clean and had a good atmosphere. ALL the staff were very friendly and always had a smile on there face which is so refreshing these days. I would like to mention Sarah on Reception and James the Duty Manager. We had a few issues when we arrived they went the extra mile to help us resolve some problems and made us feel at home.

I was disappointed that there was not a fridge in the room. I need this for medication - they bought me a fridge but it wasn't cold enough to store my medication. I was also disappointed that there were no drawers or shelves to store underwear and non-hanging clothes. Their pillows are not good at all. These are the only reasons the star raring is low.

The hotel is very well situated for our needs! This was our fourth visit and as previously we received a very warm welcome especially from Chloe in reception! We were informed when we arrived that we had been chosen as the guests of the day and presented with some very welcome goodies! Every member of staff we met greeted us with a warm smile and greeting and made us feel very welcome! The rooms are spacious and well equipped and very comfortable! Ideally located for Cheltenham Spa or Gloucester or exploring the Cotswold!

There wasn't anything specific that we didn't like but did feel that the hotel was looking a little bit tired and maybe needs a bit of updating but nothing to put you off your stay!

Beautiful hotel, we were traveling from Yorkshire to Devon and stopped overnight to break up the journey. Stayed in Colchester Leonardo hotel. We thought the room was very clean the only thing we didn't like is shower curtain in the bathroom. The hotel in general was very clean, the carpet everywhere was new. Beautiful bar, very well presented lobby, with calm music playing, the restaurant was very pleasant and food was priced relatively reasonable. Good portions. The breakfast was superb. Great variety of pastry and bread, fruit salads, yogurts, vell made hot breakfast. And very helpful stuff, the Spanish looking lady who was serving in breakfast area was so extremely kind and helpful. We will definitely be back to this hotel. I would say that for the price it's very good.

Charged £7 to pay our car overnight on the hotel grounds which seems a bit strange as we have never done this with other places we have stayed of a similar calibre. Breakfast area set up for gluten free but Coeliac husband handed an allergy sheet and told to look up what he could and could not have! If Premier Inn can produce a menu showing what he can and cannot have, I am surprised it cannot be done in 2025 to do this as we had two letters in our room from management so making up a menu is hardly rocket science. It was good value for money but it is one reason we would not return.

Stayed at Cheltenham Leonardo's hotel last year and more recently at Swindon Leonardo's, so knew our stay would be a good one. Staff were friendly and welcoming, room was clean and comfortable. We spent our 2 evenings in hotel bar area which is most contemporary and comfortable. Have to say the wine bottle prices are most reasonable. We dined in restaurant on 2nd evening and the food/staff were lovely. We had a couple of very minor problems with our room and were impressed by how quickly these were addressed - thank you. Also leisure facilities are superb and well run

Nice Hotel. Friendly staff that went out of their way to help you. Breakfast was excellent, Nice selection of Full english and continental options. The food was constantly replenished so it never ran out even when close to breakfast finish time. We had a wonderful check-in surprise being told we were 'Guest of the day'! Which meant a free complimentry drink from the bar each day for each of our party and also complmentry parking. This was a real nice touch.

Bar was a bit expensive and also shut quite early for a hotel (11pm)

The whole place was clean and really well presented. The bar and restaurant looked lovely (though we only used the restaurant for breakfast), and the orangery was quiet except for the rain sounds which I personally love. Staff were all helpful and polite, although we only really needed to speak to reception for check in/out. There is a small shop for forgotten things plus drinks and activity packs for the kids which was great. We came for valentines evening and my daughter was given an activity pack and also had a free pack of Lovehearts so she was made up. Jenna on reception was lovely to us and our daughter (it makes a difference when staff know how to speak to kids). The pool was great, my daughter loves a swim and we got in early on the Saturday as the children’s hours are restricted during the week so we missed the Friday evening session. The breakfast was good. It was a buffet and finished plates were cleared really quickly by the friendly staff. Everything was clean, straight forward and enjoyable.

The only very small issues we had were that we couldn’t use the lift for a period of time in the morning as the lift was only big enough for the cleaning trollies and it was just that time of day they were up and down in them. It wasn’t an issue for us personally (except my daughter’s disappointment at not being able to press buttons) but it might have been quite a wait for someone needing to use the lift through necessity. The only other minor issue was the shower head had a leak which I think may have affected the pressure. Not a major issue so I just reported it on check out so the hotel were aware.

When i checked in online it asked if the visit was for a specific purpose and i said it was for my wife's birthday and when we got to our room they had left her a card, banner, towels in the shape of swans/hearts, a voucher for a free drink and some sweets, so this was a lovely surprise The staff we all very helpful and polite The room was very hot and no thermostat control just the radiator control which didn't seem to work, so i reported it and when we went back to our room they had sorted it and put a large fan in the room The evening meal although not cheap was very good quality and cooked well, the breakfast selection was very good also Attended the gym in the morning which was ok and went for a swim and pool not very big and was busy with local members but was ok room nice and clean and the bed very comfortable

My wife said the female changing room when we went swimming was dirty as hairs on the floor and tissue paper etc, might have just been unlucky if thoughtless people had been in just before? We did go for breakfast a bit late 9am but on until 09:30 and myself and my daughter had the hot food first but my wife had something else first and found they had removed it all but they did take her order and cooked to order so she didn't miss out just not as convenient
