The hotel was lovely, clean and modern. The beds were hugeeee and very comfortable and the hotel smelt lovely. Staff were friendly and in the perfect location right in the centre of everything.

Attempted 3 times to use the roof top bar and were refused 3 times by the lady at the seating stand. We went outside to have a look at the view, and noticed half the tables were empty, and there was easily space for 2 people. We were very disappointed as we did try 3 times to sit outside on the roof top and were declined despite being residents of the hotel, and the lady just said ‘no’ no explanation, we did sit inside and look at the menu but then decided to leave as were were saddened we couldn’t sit outside and enjoy the view. I was very gutted as I was very excited to have a drink up there hence trying 3 times!!

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel AMANO Covent Garden. The location is absolutely unbeatable — just steps from the Covent Garden piazza, theatres, and restaurants, yet surprisingly quiet at night. It’s perfect if you want to be right in the center of everything London has to offer. The design of the hotel is modern and chic, with a moody, luxurious vibe. My room was compact but beautifully done — the bed was super comfortable, and I loved the little touches like the Nespresso machine and high-end toiletries. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with recommendations or anything else I needed. Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. Overall, this hotel was stylish, comfortable, and incredibly well located. Ideal for a weekend getaway or business trip. I’d absolutely stay again!

The rooftop bar was definitely a highlight. The views over the London skyline were stunning, and the cocktails and atmosphere made it a great spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. I didn’t try the restaurant, but it looked lively and inviting.

The servers are really friendly. I had a gout attack during my stay here and Leo and co. was very helpful. They gave me an ice bag to use. The hotel is also very conveniently located, I could walk a few minutes to a bus stop that could get me anywhere I needed to be.

No table in my room so I had to work in Penelope but breakfast is only up to 11am so I am forced to go to a cafe. The wifi was also a bit slow during my stay but enough for emails and slack.

Super location, very convenient to walk everywhere. Tube station is 6 minutes away. Staff was very attentive and polite. Breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms and corridors are modern decor but very dark, not to everyone’s liking. The main restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays and the rooftop bar appears to be often unavailable due to private events, therefore it might be impossible to get a drink in a hotel on some nights. It’s not really a criticism, just something to be aware of.

We thought the breakfast was extremely good. There was a wide variety of both hot and continental breakfast options available on a self-service basis. The choice was amazing and the quality excellent. You were able to choose exactly what you wanted to eat and adjust your portion size accordingly. If you wanted to opt for something different from the A la Carte menu, this was cooked to order as an extra cost. A hand-held steamer was in the room to enable creases from packed clothes to disappear if needed!

We were aware of a noisy guest who got up very early and allowed their room door to close with a bang - rather than quietly leaving their room. Maybe a note inside the door to remind guests to be considerate of others when leaving their room. Obviously this is beyond the immediate control of the Amano, and would be an issue in any hotel.

Outstanding Hotel Experience at Amano Covent Garden! We had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Amano in Covent Garden. The location is simply perfect just steps away from the Covent Garden Market and within walking distance to everything central London has to offer. The hotel is impeccably clean, and the attention to detail in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness is noticeable throughout the property. What truly made our experience exceptional was the staff every single team member we encountered was warm, helpful, and went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed. Whether it was at the front desk or in the dining area, we always felt welcomed and valued. Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety and excellent coffee to start the day right. The service at the breakfast area was especially friendly and efficient. The hotel itself is relatively small, which gives it an intimate and cozy feel, and the atmosphere was calm and inviting throughout our stay. Great location, tucked away off the main streets and very quiet. Close to many great pubs, and theaters as well as Covent Garden. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Comfortable bed, big shower. The room was spacious. The coffee, tea, and biscuits provided in the room were very nice.

There was not enough lighting in the room or bathroom. The super dark gray walls just made the lighting problem even worse. There was no place to put your suitcase. No in-room minifridge, which would have been helpful for my medication. We did not get to access the rooftop bar for the view as it was closed until evening.

Very convenient atmosphere, comfortable rooms, nice rooftop bar. Very good location and best place to do sightseeing especially when it is the first visit to London. Some point to think over or to improve: For room design with a brighter mirror, other position of TV (better to place in front of bed instead at side of bed, although this is difficult in balcony room), slightly bigger balcony with space to place at least pne chair, and bigger storage places for clothes would increase the flare and well feeling

The rooftop bar was closed for two days of private event - especially on those days the cosy atmosphere would have been desired and prefered for relaxing and enjoying the view. Unfortunately due to this private event, which was not known during time of booking, the availability of this hotel service was not as expected.

Best location Beautiful rooms. The staff are no. 1 we had a wonderful stay and want to give a big thank you to the hotel team for their amazing service and warm hospitality. From the moment we arrived, everyone was kind, welcoming, and truly went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. A special thanks to Audrey, the reception manager who made our stay even more special ♥️ The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was always available, friendly, and helpful with any question or request You can really feel they care about their guests, and that made all the difference. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely come back!
