The hotel was lovely and clean and staff were lovely on the day shift 😄

The air conditioning in the room did not work and it was unbearable to get any sleep. We called down to reception and they asked did we want someone to come up and check it? We said yes and no one turned up but also got the impression that the person on the reception didn’t speak good English and therefore did not understand us.

- Location was perfect. Lots of cute and cozy places to eat around, proximity to underground and bus stops was great. And you can even take a walk to Oxford street and many other places if the weather is good. Comfy but small bed for two.

The property was a bit worn out, the bed had some stains on the mattress and the bathroom was missing a hair dryer for example. For the price we paid, breakfast should have been included.

The location, the water station, the umbrellas to borrow so we didn't have to buy one for such a short stay, the cleanliness of the facility, the breakfast at 42 holborn.

To get the king size bed, two smaller beds were put together and that created a seam and angle in the bed that made it uncomfortable. The bed needed a sheet or lighter layer than the comforter as the comforter was quite warm even with the air conditioning. The rooms near us had loud guests that frequently opened their door to have conversations outside our door and across to another room then would let their door slam shut.

What a delightful stay! Everything was absolutely great and it was a pleasure to stay at the Club Quarters Covent Garden Holborn Hotel. The staff were very friendly, especially Yousef, who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived with his friendly personality. The room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. Coffee, tea and water were always available in the lobby area, and the best part was having a water dispenser on the same floor as our room which allowed us to refill water in the reusable bottles provided. The hotel is located in a very central area, around 10 minutes walking distance to Covent garden and 20 minutes to Leicester Square and other central areas. Although very central, the street is a quiet one, away from all the hustle and bustle, and the hotel's terrace facing the Lincoln's Inn Field is wonderful. It's a brilliant location, especially if you want to be close to several theatres which are mostly walking distance. There is an underground station 5 minutes away from the hotel and several cafes and restaurants close by. Definitely choose this hotel if you are looking for comfort, style and being in the centre. We would definitely return and greatly recommend it to anyone visiting London 😊

Everything was excellent 👌🏻

We had two rooms for two nights at the very top floor of the hotel. Both excellent, spacious, clean, fresh and one with great views over the park opposite. Returning guests, the hotel has a wonderful location - just minutes walk from Covent Garden and Leicester Square ....with High Holborn shops very close for any quick shopping must haves. As a tip - The café in the Lincolns Inn Fields opposite is great for breakfast if you fancy a change from the adjacent restaurant. Staff were fantastic and could do enough - making us feel like we had a v special stay. Bravo CQ!

Odd unpleasant smell in one bathroom on arrival - but soon sorted by excellent housekeeping.

Excellent location, lovely friendly staff. I did not use the breakfast, however very close to a lot of nice cafes / shops. Excellent location if you are visiting the royal colleges for work / courses Nice and clean, mini-fridge like amenities in the room, good tech options to plug in to TV, and lots of work spaces downstairs. Chilled filtered water available in the corridor. Comfortable bed and pillows, air con in the room. Hot shower nice and powerful.

With a room facing the road, I was a bit worried about the noise; was very loud until I realised one of the windows was part opened. I think great sound proofing however for central London, and you only hear sirens on blues and twos really, but overnight nothing woke me up.

For starters the great hospitality of the loveliest ladies at the front desk; Odette and Maria. Thank you both for your kindness. The hotel is located around the corner of an underground stop so making your way through London is very easy. Lots of shops around on Oxford street as well. We liked our room, I travelled with my son and to us it was perfect. We book a room to sleep in and not to spend much time in because we are outside most of the day. Our room was clean, bathroom was clean, bed slept great, and my son loved the Netflix connection in the evening so he could keep bingwatching his favorite shows. We would recommend the hotel to others!

We got a room on the 8th floor overlooking the garden. We stayed at the hotel for a week, which wasn't enough... We enjoyed waking up in the morning and seeing the view. The most important thing was the amazing service of Jhi, who helped us wholeheartedly with finding tickets to a show and anything else we asked for. ⁷ At the entrance, there are water bottles and a machine for hot chocolate/coffee/tea. It's really nice to come back at night and sit in the lobby. It's not luxurious, but it has a warm, homely feel. Holborn Station, which has direct connections hetrow the Tube, is only a 3-minute walk from the hotel. On Sundays, there's no express train, but the regular train is empty and takes about an hour. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the heart of Covent Garden. I've been to London many times, and this hotel has an unbeatable location. I'll definitely come back again.

I don't recommend the basement rooms—they are beautiful but have no windows. We stayed in one for a night

Great location..very central and close to underground stations. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived early, so they took your bags and we could go out and enjoy our day. There was a bathroom downstairs to freshen up in and coffee/tea/water in the reception area. Water bottles and fresh water by the lifts was a nice touch. There is also a patio area at the front door to sit outside. The man checking us in later was very friendly. We got an upgrade which was lovely. The room was very nice, clean and really big comfy bed. Breakfast was standard cooked food, pastries, pancakes etc and was fine. Overall, hotel was clean and well maintained.

Thought the music in the breakfast area was too loud and inappropriate for that time of the morning. Our room coffee machine seemed to be faulty but there were plenty of other coffee options available throughout the hotel.

Location superb close to everything. Arrived early in the morning and our room was ready which was a huge help. There's always a lovely smell by the reception area. Coffee and tea station is such a lovely touch as is the water stations. Keep it up!
