We stayed in a newly renovated studio with twin beds. It was spacious enough for 2 - a great layout with a kitchen area and breakfast bar/stools, coffee making facilities too. Small sofa to sit on. Good wardrobes, storage, safe etc. Great shower room. Great location on Holborn, just a 2 minute stroll from the Holborn tube station. Now that the renovation appears complete, there is nothing not to like about the Citadines. It is modern, well designed and clean. Will definitely be returning and have already recommended to friends.

The personnel is always available during normal office times, and is always polite and willing to help when there's any issue. The room is spacious, the bedding is comfortable and we had no problem, as a family of four, to manage with the bed and the sofa bed.

We had to request several times to change room because the first one that was assigned to us (room 233) couldn't almost get any hot water: we had to turn on the kitchenette, sink AND shower taps for over 30 mins before we had something better than tepid water. My kids had to wash their hair with cold water and we had to resort on boiling water in the kettle and use bowls to bring hot water to the shower. The second room we were assigned to (after having had to wait for two days... on a stay of 6 days), room 501, had no issue at all. Also, avoid paying for the breakfast: at £15 per adult, the offer is too small for the price, better have breakfast at the nearby Caffé Nero or at the La Fabrique bakery.

We stayed twice with 3 days break. We left there some of our luggage during the break which was very convinient. The room was okay (we took the large unit). The breakfast was okay but couls be better. We enjoy the free coffee during the day but sometimes the machine didn't work. The location is perfect.

On our second stay, for 5 days, we had a room at the end of hotel and on our way there we felt loke going through a maintenance' unpleasant area. In addition, there was a problem with the hot water' at least twice. We had to wait about 10 minutes to get some warm water and in one case they didn't arrive even after this wait.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean and roomy, and the location was perfect. Also, there’s a grocery store across the street.

The daytime staff was not helpful at all, but the two ladies that worked the night time at the desk were amazing and very helpful. Also, on the breakfast buffet, they never had eggs available the whole stay and every day was a different excuse.

- For the classic studio, there was not enough cupboard space for one person - During my visit, I had to locate to another floor once for emergency maintenance - Another time, the electricity went off for an entire day, which made it hard to get up to the 5th floor, especially while we were fasting

Location - Amazing location 10 minutes walk to covent garden. 2 minutes (if not less) to underground station which has two lines (central & piccadilly) one stop away feom covent garden and two stops away from oxford street 3 stops away from selfridges Staff- amazing and helpful (shout out to Rajb)

A.C was not workig even after switching rooms and the heat is unbearable First room was in the forth floor (sound proof was amazing ) however, after switching rooms we got one in the first floor and was not sound proof as we could hear ppl opening doors, moving chairs talking and cars outside.

Breakfast - it was great

The staff (the few who were on shift) were fantastic but completely over worked. This is an extremely understaffed property. The wait time at reception for anything (check in, breakfast paymment, questions, check out) is excessive. There were always queues at front desk with many frustrated guests and likewise frustrated staff. The key card situation is diabolical. My key card rarely worked - this is so annoying when you travel up to your room, cant get in, travel back down, wait for 10 minutes to be seen at the desk and have your card re set. It happened every day. It drove everyone mad!

24 hour desk, laundry for added cost, breakfast for added cost, free coffee via machine 24/7. Studio was wonderful, location was great. Gym was small with a broken bench but still a great facility. Was very clean.

I liked everything! I did not however get the breakfast as I thought it was high cost, and there was a kitchen in the room so I had DIY breakfast for much cheaper. Laundry was £5 + £5. Gym had broken bench but otherwise good. Staff were mostly polite and welcoming. One staff member requested I moved my coffee from the couch area which was strange. Was quite high cost but I enjoyed my stay! Interesting that they only do a clean of your room in stays longer than 6 nights… I stayed 6 nights so had to pinch spare towels from the laundry.

Location was excellent. Having a studio meant we could have a breakfast and some meals in the Hotel room. I am Coeliac so finding gluten free food can sometimes be a problem. Pizza Express was right beside the Hotel, which had gluten free options, was a bonus. Easy walking distance to Convent Garden, the West End and the Underground. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Complimentary coffee was lovely. Were offered a complimentary breakfast but did not need this. Staff helpful and friendly. If we'd stayed longer would have used the launderette or gym.

Wish the price was less but we booked a studio with a kitchenette and it was in the centre of London. What we saved, by preparing some food in the Hotel room, saved on the overall cost of the Hotel Room.

Brilliant location (right above the Holborn tube station) & fantastic double bed. Excellent bathroom. Loads of storage space for suitcases and purchases. Very close to cafes and bakeries for a quick breakfast. The gentleman at the front desk was super friendly and accomodating.

It is quite pricey for the square meters provided but then it was a holiday booking. There was no coffee machine in the room & one would have to go to downstairs to the lobby to use the common coffee machine provided. The sofa bed wasn't very comfortable. The second elevator wasn't working throughout our entire one-week stay and that led to queues forming outside the one functioning lift.
