Good night! We are some girls from Spain (Granada) that have come for a few days to London and we chose to stay at this amazing hotel. In just two days at this hotel, it has become our home, saving us from the cold streets of London. They gave us a warm welcome with a delicious hot chocolate, coffee, tea… that quickly finished because we drank it instantly. Nevertheless, the next day we had chocolate again, anda that healed our heart. As you can see in the photo (the first one) beds are huge and quite comfortable, and the TV is really modern (thank God that we haven’t stolen it), the only issue is that we couldn’t Watch la isla de las tentaciones in this tv (highly recommended, and the Chunguitos too). If you wanna try something similar to chocolate, you can try la morcilla española. In the second photo appears our bestfriend Prem: the best hotel worker in the world. He treated us so good as a mother with his newborn. That is why we wanted to compliment him because of his kindness. We were so brave that we asked him for a photo, and he said yes! Size only works for one person; my husband and I had to turn sideways to get by each other in the very limited floor space..... and no light above the sink

Great location, very clean and well run hotel. Reception staff are a credit to hotel. Coffees better than nearby chain coffee shops & reasonably priced.

Thumping music from nearby nightclub. Reception were aware of issue, but have been unable to resolve with management of the club. Only affects a few rooms (222 in my case) that back onto club. Offered to change room (not taken as no guarantee would be quieter) & gave complimentary late checkout & free coffees. 2nd night club was much quieter & room very quiet. Room was very hot & a/c struggled to cool down.

The room layouts can vary slightly but size and facilities are very consistent and so, if you've stayed in Zhotels before, you know exactly what you're getting. I am a big Zhotels fan but this one is perhaps my favourite yet. The foyer and bar area is really inviting, with very nice interior architecture, space and atmosphere. The location is just about as good as anywhere in central London, there are Zhotels deeper into the westend but this one is about equal distance between theatreland/Soho and the finacial district/old City, so convenient if you're thinking of walking a lot. As standard, the staff are friendly and helpful.

Nothing comes to mind

1.The plumbing worked - it is erratic and difficult to use in many hotels in UK but not in this Z. 2. The room could be darkened totally by closing the press-button blind. This made it easier to sleep. 3. The TV worked. After being in Europe and unable to get English-language TV, it was nice to hear/watch the BBC. 4. Cleaning, bedmaking, done daily, no fuss. 5. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate supplied. 6. Sheer convenience of location to what I wanted to do and see. 7. Very quiet.

1. Very small room! Hardly anywhere to put my backpack. "Wardrobe" was hooks on the wall. But I finally appreciated that small can be convenient: there's nowhere to misplace your stuff. No long walk to the bathroom during the night! 2. However, the room size meant a stay of 3-4 nights max would be my maximum stay in future. I stayed 8 nights but would choose a place offering a bigger room next time in London. Is room size in square metres (or feet) given on the site?

The location was great. Also loved both sliding doors at entrance making it easy to get luggage in/out. Loved the fresh fruit water which was easy to help ourselves too, a lovely welcome. Very nice staff looked after our luggage too after check out before we caught our train home. Lovely touches that make the stay so much nicer.

There needs to be more hooks to hang towels up after shower. This keeps them aired and enables them to dry quickly so guests can use them again. Lack of hooks in/near bathroom, so what do you do with your damp towel? 1 hook inside bathroom is not enough. The hanging hooks that are by the shower were great to hang coats, dresses, shirts etc but another of those alongside would be great for towels and handbags to get them off the floor. Thank you! Also surface space in rooms. You can't unpack a weekend bag. Would be great to have a slim console along corridor wall so you could put items on it as our little surface near kettle got crowded with change, snack, keys, etc.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at this hotel as we love to come to London to see west end musicals and this hotel is in prime location in theatre land to walk to the theatre venues The hotel has clean and tidy and facilitated my wheelchair and I had an accessible bathroom Staff were friendly and helpful,especially when having to request the use of the lift on a daily basis to exit the building

Our only criticism would be that we are allocated a basement room (which wasn't a problem) but the sound of the bins were emptied was very noisy every night at 2am in the morning which was extremely disturbing during the night

The two members of staff I dealt with were very friendly, helpful and professional. The room was clean and comfortable - I knew it was going to be small but I was hardly there apart from to sleep. It was quiet, and the bathroom and room had everything I needed. You just need to spend a minute to understand the controls on the lighting and the fans and TV screen to get everything closed down for sleeping! The breakfast looked great when I walked through to check out but I hadn't made time for it. Another time I'd book the breakfast as well. The location is amazing - just a short walk from beautiful old buildings, hotels and theatres at Aldwych, and a really easy walk over Waterloo Bridge from the station, about 20 mins from train to hotel. Lovely atmosphere through theatre district and South Bank.

Nothing really. I had to walk up one flight of stairs as the lift wasn't working above the fourth floor, but I didn't mind.

The location was quiet but convenient for walking to the convent garden surrounding areas, theatres and to the Holborn train station. They were compact rooms with all the basic and key necessities for a traveller. They were clean, modern and the beds were very comfortable. The small windows in our rooms were the perfect touch for these compact rooms to avoid them being too dark or feeling claustrophobic. We love the convenience of the call cab machine - where we press a button on the machine to book a cab on the spot. We did not choose the breakfast option but the spread looks good.

The price paid was pretty steep for what we got including the location. But this is likely London prices based on supply and demand.

Good location but depends what you want it for. For us it was easy access to trafalgar for a race we were taking part in. Staff were friendly and the room was nice and cosy, with lots of tech!

No lift to the 7th floor and the member of staff who checked us in did not know this as she told us to take the 2nd of two lifts (there are actually 3) and to press 7 on the lift (it only goes up to 6, then you have to climb the rest of the way) this made us confused although we did figure it out in the end. There were machines outside our room (outside the window) which were a little noisy but otherwise noise was minimal. Tv signal in our room was poor
