The hotel was lovely, clean and modern. The beds were hugeeee and very comfortable and the hotel smelt lovely. Staff were friendly and in the perfect location right in the centre of everything.

Attempted 3 times to use the roof top bar and were refused 3 times by the lady at the seating stand. We went outside to have a look at the view, and noticed half the tables were empty, and there was easily space for 2 people. We were very disappointed as we did try 3 times to sit outside on the roof top and were declined despite being residents of the hotel, and the lady just said ‘no’ no explanation, we did sit inside and look at the menu but then decided to leave as were were saddened we couldn’t sit outside and enjoy the view. I was very gutted as I was very excited to have a drink up there hence trying 3 times!!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Evening provided complimentary umbrellas when it was raining. The location is fabulous and an easy walk to the shows, shops, underground, restaurants and bars. The hotel has a wonderful roof top bar that does amazing cocktails and nibbles. Would highly recommend the hotel and will definitely be back.

The lighting around the mirror could be better as it is very dark when trying to put makeup on. Breakfast should include hot options with no additional cost in my opinion.

Modern, very convenient location, clean

We went for a drink in the rooftop bar and were made to feel very uncomfortable. Firstly being told we couldn’t sit outside we had to sit inside, until a member of staff behind the bar agreed to let us go out. We were only out there for 15 minutes until they told us they were closing the terrace (even though it was only 22.30 and we got told we can order until 23.15), and also there were 5 other people on the rooftop outside that didn’t get told it was closing. We hung around inside finishing our drinks and these people were not told to come in. Left very unhappy especially for the price of 2 soft drinks!

Modern tasteful decor and friendly, helpful staff make this a good choice for anyone wanting an attractive upscale Covent Garden location. Relatively quiet for location in the busy theater district. Comfortable bedding and decent supply of fair trade coffee, tea and water supplied.

The heavily promoted environmental conservation plan to skip daily maid service didn’t actually seem to work on the tablet as directed. Shelf in bathroom was falling off the wall and toilet seat was crooked. Pump tops for shampoo and body wash in shower were screwed down so tight in closed position it took some time to correct at an awkward moment.

Great size room, staff very friendly and accommodating and location superb. Rooftop bar was fabulous.

Just one gripe - the bathroom facilities in the room. The sink was open in the middle of the room and the lavatory and shower were behind individual separate frosted glass partitions which did not fit particularly well and which had large open holes instead of handles. The net result was zero privacy or sound-proofing which doesn't really matter if you are staying on your own but could be particularly unpleasant and unnecessary if you were staying with someone else, even if you know them very well! Complete 'form over function' to not just have a decent private bathroom and the only complaint about my otherwise fantastic stay.

The location of this hotel is great. However I will say that if you plan to travel mostly by train and you don't like to walk much, maybe this location is not for you. The nearest train station is 7 minutes away, but that's the Piccadilly line that doesn't go everywhere. When we needed the Elizabeth line for example it was 15 min walk. However there are a lot of buses near by so also consider that. Regarding the room, the bed was comfy, the shower was amazing, everything was clean.

We stayed in a Large Double Room which was bigger than a standard London room, however it was still challenging with two suitcases. The pillows are very soft, wish they had firm ones. There was no closet in the room, only 2 drawers and some hangers. We were missing that storage space.

The hotel was great from the first impression at the entrance, the member of staff who checked us in was really helpful and explained everything we needed to know really thoroughly. The hotel kindly upgraded us for my husbands birthday which was a lovely surprise. The room was a great size, very clean, and had everything we needed. It is right in the heart of a Covent Garden which made our short stay super easy for getting out and about locally.

We didn’t manage to make use of the roof terrace bar as the timings didn’t quite work with our itinerary, so earlier opening hours would be great. No other concerns though, we loved our stay.

Loved the overall feel, style and decor, special. Very friendly, helpful staff. Super bed, slept well. Comfy room is a decent size, with all you need, and very clean. Rooftop bar is wonderful with stunning views of landmarks across London and the Thames. Amazing location. We would definitely book again.

The toilet is next to the bed at the head end. Though the room is space-saving, the toilet should at least have been placed where the shower is, and with the door facing the bed end wall. Large holes instead of doorhandles in the toilet and shower doors remove a feeling of privacy, can be uncomfortable. Very expensive bar.

I was really well welcomed in Amano Covent Garden. Everybody I met was very welcoming . The place is very lovely and modern. The room was enough spacious for myself. The bed is soft. And I loved the view I had :) The continental buffet was very Nice as well. A lot of choice and it was very delicious. In addition to all of this, the hotel is close to almost everything: 2 minutes of Covent Garden market, less than 15 minutes of Trafalgar Square and Westminster. The underground is at less than 5 minutes and you can be in Piccadilly Circus, Oxford and Regent Streets in 5 minutes. And 15 minutes of St Pancras station. Thank you to all of the staff, I highly recommend this hotel to everyone !

Excellent location for theatres restaurants and attractions for Covent Garden and locality. Situated on a quiet street within easy walk of tube and public transport. We felt safe walking around the area at night. Our 'Comfy' room was modern, well appointed and clean, it was also quiet (no background hum of London traffic). Control panel allowed us to adjust the temperature to suit, that together with large bed and quality bedding made for a comfortable nights sleep. Check-in was easy, staff helpful and pleasant. Able to leave luggage before and after check-in.

A fridge / minibar would have been a bonus.
