Found everything as described on the website, no surprises! Room was clean and relatively quiet during my stay. Good shower, just make sure to turn on the water heater switch (by the door). The location was good too! Nice neighborhood, many good restaurants on the river quay and in China Town, within walking distance.

The room is tiny, but this was to be expected. If you are organized by nature, you can adapt to the small space quite well. Only 10 channels on TV to choose from. The AC is right above the bed. I had to switch it off from time to time as it was becoming too cold.

Location was excellent! Metro station is just across the road, and many major tourist spots are within walking distances. Very friendly staff and prompt service. The property reception desk was always manned. The property and the room were freshly renovated so very clean. Towels and linen were also clean.

The room was very small! Every time we got something out from our suitcases, we had to zip it back up and stand them vertically because there was not enough floor space for horizontal arrangement. One of us had to sit on the bed because there was only enough room for one small chair. As well as a small room, there was no windows at all which felt a little suffocating.

Stayed here a few times across the last 2 years. Great location with friendly staff. Rooms are very very compact but smartly designed for the space available and enough for what I need. Rooms are clean and pleasant and location provides easy access to food and public transport whilst having enough distance away from the main tourist/restaurant/pub area to be nice and quiet for most part. Taxi / grab stand is also right outside if you need to grab one to the airport. Staff was great with storing extra packed boxes I had for my most recent stay so that I didn't need to carry them to my room or take up additional room space.

As the rooms have no windows and are entirely dependent on the internal ventilation sometimes there can be a slight smell to the rooms when the air has been stagnant for a while. This is fairly common to these types of hotel rooms though. Whilst the room does optimise the space it has available it is definitely designed for people that are not large in build.and have minimal luggage and/or are happy crouch down when sorting through luggage.

I recently had a 3 night stay at the Champion Hotel City. It’s in a great location. Walking distance to Chinatown and there’s a metro entrance at the corner of the street. The Singapore river is just a few minute walk as well with a great selection of restaurants with great views. There was some construction in the adjacent building during my stay but they’d be finished by 7pm so the noise (minimal when they were working) wasn’t an issue. The room that I chose was small but they made great use of the available space. There was a refrigerator and a safe in the room. The room that I chose would have been a challenge for more than one person but, for me, a solo traveler, it was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This is my 3rd time coming here, and it's been great every time. The staff are always friendly. I arrived earlier, and they stored my luggage while I explored until my room was ready. My room was clean, the air conditioner worked well, and I had access to hot water. It is within walking distance of 3 different MRTs and has excellent restaurants and attractions nearby. There is also an F45 nearby if you need a quick workout and a convenience store for water. Overall, great value for what was included (private room with shower/toilet, hot water, air conditioner). I highly recommend staying here if you are on a layover!

While this didn't take away from our experience, if you are someone who likes to have antibacterial hand soap, then you will need to go out and purchase some. Otherwise, this spot was great!

Perfect location!! You get everywhere form there. You are at walking distance from Chinatown and the Marina Bay and there is a Metro station 2 min away walking. The room was clean and the staff was nice and helpfull. You are also close to restaurants area and I think it pays off the location vs the size of the room. WiFi was ok!!

The room is too small, not for claustrophobic minds. Is the perfect place to book if you are sure your are only going to use it for sleeping and a gettting ready in the morning. Breafkfast would be ideal but I can see thr eis no space. Also, I needed to do laundry and I realized the hotel offers laudry service too late, need a better advertising of that.

First advice - read the description of chosen room carefully. I was satisfied with the choice I made because I did it. Room was tiny as expected (11 sq m - it is what it is), but really well thought and equipped and quite pretty. For medium luggage travelers - good enough. Bigger suitcases will not fit in. Location is absolutely great, you can walk easily to most of iconic SG attractions.

One little thing would improve staying in my room greatly - three/four hangers on the wall between the door and a bathroom. There are none now. Water was really too cold to take a shower - a really bad experience

Amazing location!!! Right beside an MRT and not far from others, but can get anywhere in Singapore very easily. Right in Clarke quay for bars and the atmosphere to explore. Also near Chinatown for food and coffee and to explore, and handily for us next to 2 big bus bus stops too!! We also discovered you can walk right to marina bay sands along the river too (at night for us because of the heat!) The room is small but very well designed and exactly what we needed!

There was building works going on during our stay but only between 9-5 when we were mostly out!

Excellent location, very friendly staff at the reception, reasonably priced for Singapore. Good quality towels. Excellent Wifi. Decent size shower with great water pressure. There was construction on but I was given the room that I didn't hear anything.

The room is tiny but it does what it should. A small fridge would be great. It would be nice to keep the water cold when it is so hot outside. Next time I'll opt for a room with the window as it can get a bit stuffy with just AC in such a small space.
