Ideal location, two metro stations within walking distance. Staff are very friendly. Many thanks to Darray, Amiran, Simar and others. The room was cleaned daily and very thoroughly. Breakfasts are quite good.

I couldn't open the window in the room. There was gel was near shower, but nor shampoo or soap in the bathroom.

The location was great (MRT and bus stops are near and only a short walk from Boat Quay). The rooftop pool was lovely and open late and early enough (7.00-22.00). The rooms were clean. Breakfast was interesting but good (seven different options, no vegan or gluten-free options available) in a lovely café (right next to the hotel), which was popular also among locals.

The rooms (and bathrooms) were quite small but enough for two people for five nights. There was no luggage room - or actually luggage room was the lobby.

The swimming pool was a massive bonus and not what I would usually expect from a budget hotel.

The rooms are basic but you know this when you book, so as expected.

The location is great, close to Marina bay and other sightseeing in the center. The staff is very kind and helpful, allowing us to leave our luggage in a safe storage space for 5 hours after checking out. The room and the other facilities in the hotel are clean and maintained. There is a nice small swimming pool on the top floor.

The dehumidifier in the room was extremely noisy. Luckily for us the girl at the reception knew how to switch it off and did it in the middle of the night (there is a hidden box with fuses above the hangers). After that we were able to fall asleep. At the same time the walls are very thin.so you could hear the neighbours at adjacent rooms almost like they are in your room.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities and the environment. The location was very convenient—close to public transportation, restaurants, and local attractions(there is 7-11 downstairs).

There was no laundry facility inside the hotel. It would have been much more convenient to have access to on-site laundry, especially for longer stays( there is a laundry store opposite the hotel and it costs 7 dollars per time). Additionally, the room was slightly smaller than expected. It would have been more comfortable with a little more space.

The staffs are all accommodating and very nice. They are always willing to help and provided us an excellent service. You may want to look for Simon, Chris, Amirah and Moe. They also offered us an umbrella when there was a time that it rain in SG. The location is perfect and near the tourist’s attractions. There is also an MRT that is very near the Hotel. The room is clean and they change towels daily. The restaurant although small serve a good breakfast. There were limited choices of food but the croissant/breads taste good.

I just didn’t like that the room is so enclosed.

Located very centrally with walking distance to attractions such as the Merlion and Chinatown. The rooms were very nicely designed which made them feel bigger. We had a room without a window which did not bother us at all as the rooms are bright and feel very open. The staff was lovely and always ready to help us with whatever we may need, Amirah, Kai Man and Chris were super helpful. There is a pool on the roof with amazing views of the city, perfect after a long day in the Singapore heat.

There was no conditioner and handsoap provided in the room, you had to use the shower gel as hand soap.

Excellent location for exploring the city - we walked around Clarke Quay on our first evening and had dinner at Boat Quay. Next day we visited Chinatown and the day after Marina Bay - all within walking distance. On our last day we took the bus to Little India and walked back through Kampong Glam, visiting Raffles Hotel on the way back. It was lovely to have a swim at the hotel after our days out! The hot water machine in the room was magic! Delivered a lovely cup of tea in seconds! All staff were friendly and helpful, especially Amirah and Simon.

The room was a little cramped with not much hanging space, but we knew it would be small. Despite a notice saying towels would only be changed if we put them in the sink, our towels were changed every day which we thought was unnecessary and not environmentally sound.

Ibis Budget Singapore Clarke Quay Hotel is a decent accommodation for a short time stay for a solo traveller. The hotel offered a pool, which was a big plus for me. However, despite indicating that they had a gym, at my point of visit there was no gym in sight. I got a Superior Double room, which is a little more spacious. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows for me to use. Despite the reception mentioning they don't offer toothbrushes or shampoo, which was ok with me. They still had it available in the room - but the shampoo & soap were in a dispenser that they refilled. Good location - close-by to Clarke Quay centre, mall & train station. Most places are accessible via train or bus. There are plenty of restaurant options as well. The hotel also offered discounted breakfast with the cafe next door. On my last night, reception was helpful with lending me a measuring scale, which was nice.

Overall, the room is decent for a 3 to 4 day stay on budget. There's a mouldy and wet smell whenever I first enter the room, which isn't surprising as the bathroom is the first door on the left. The wet bathroom is something to get used to, but I'd recommend bringing your own wet slippers to use inside.

Location was excellent! Situated very close to the MRT (train station), lots of night life, food venues and things to do.

I knew the room was going to be small but even I was shocked at how small. I travelled with my 16 year old son and although we got used to it, it was very tight. I wasn’t too bothered by this but I know if I was with the Mrs, we’d of struggled! Especially as the shower was next to the toilet so you had to sqeegee the water off the walls, floor and toilet every time you showered. The roof top pool was great but the tiles around the pool was very slippery and even knowing this I managed to half slip and break my toe. The Gym was non-existent, just an empty room unfortunately. staff were courteous and friendly. We stayed during the F1 Grand Prix so paid a premium to stay there.
