1) Location was excellent. Walking distsnce to an excellent cafe, pharmacy, takeaways restaurants, supermarket & close to cbd by car. 2) Crisp bedding & towels. Extra clean all around, shower was excellent. Very generous amenities, even swimming towels were supplied. 3) Very friendly proprietor

1) Parking is a little tight but functional. Suggest to take the plants off the stones area, we were worried running over the plants. 2) Kitchen inset into the cupboard was tricky to use. Could be improved by leaving it as an open kitchen. BUT, providing the plastic bucket for dirty dishes is a nice touch as there is no kitchen sink. 3) Limited kitchen is sufficient for our needs as we did not have to cook.

Very clean, the room was fine as were the beds.

The dining seating was not what I would have wished for a disabled person. However I sat my disabled brother into one of the wing-back lounge chairs and pushed that into the table enabling him to be comfortable whilst eating his breakfast. It would have been fine for able-bodied people. Breakfast was the only meal we ate there. The dining seats were square cubes on legs without backs.

Jenne the owner, was the lady who greeted us & this would be the most well equipped motel all areas that we have ever stayed in & was absolutely spotless, plenty of everything one may require. Jenne even had bicycles you could hire.

We found everything tops, a very beautiful & special lady who made us feel like part of the family. Jenne filled us in on information of things we may need & events we could do etc, about 3 mintues walk to a New World Supermarket, shopping complex across the road if you wish to eat out & buy the NZ Kiwi Fish & Chips, delicious, also many other shops.

Maximized the efficiency of space to provide all you need for comfort. They had everything we’d want and expect. You can tell they spent time and effort thinking about the details of what is important to travelers. The room was immaculate. Beds were comfortable. Walking distance to Mission Winery and Church Street Winery. (1/2 hour walk) Restaurants, shops, and bike rental next door.

Not a place to sit outside on a porch with a glass of wine. Very functional, clean, and comfortable. Not enthralling.

Jenne is a wonderful hostess, ready to answer questions and give advice. The large studio room had comfy chairs as well as a good bed. The bathroom is roomy and bright, with plenty of towels. Nice quality bed linen. The bus into central Napier (20 min ride) was steps away, as was a large supermarket. A pleasant 15 min walk takes you to the Taradale RSA, which offers good, reasonably priced meals and drinks. Our suite was at the rear of the property, with no traffic noise.

The decor is a bit quirky and makes the main room seem a bit crowded.

The kitchen area was tiny but well-equipped. The bathroom had a good walk-in shower. The main room had a double bed, a single bed, two armchairs, a round table, and a few stools. It was all clean. Across the street was a small grocery store and a pharmacy, plus a variety of cafes were in easy walking distance.

on arrival we noted our room was smaller than expected so we requested an alternate room and were upgraded at no additional cost. Rooms were serviced daily and beyond our expectations, they were absolutely accommodating. There was a fan which was a godsend.

the pillows were lifeless and need replacing.

Proximity to supermarket, eateries and family was great.

The little kitchen facility in the cupboard could do with a pullout shelf particularly for the toaster and hot water jug. More for safety. One side of the double bed sloped to the edge unfortunately. Nice and quiet.

The room was very attractive, clean and well maintained. The chairs were extremely comfortable, as was the bed. The staff were very obliging and it was greatly appreciated by my daughter and I. The outside lighting was discrete. There’s also very good coffee across the road!

Nothing I didn’t like.

It’s perfect for me and my whanau as we come to Napier a lot, has all amenities we need, very clean, lots of room, close to shops, quiet, comfortable, the beds are the best! Owner is lovely, this is our go to motel to stay every time we come to Napier! Looking forward to our next stay soon!

It’s sad that in the past that people don’t look after or treat this motel with respect!
