The maid staff and waiters were very nice and the receptionist on day 1 Thandi and Pinky, very polite and friendly

Everything was going good until the last day, when I was checking out, the manager and receptionist at that time was waiting and was saying I cancelled the booking on booking.com and I must now pay them the R31000, they was asking me to show proof that it was payed and even after showing proof they still was insisting that the booking was Cancelled, I argued with them how can u check anyone in before paying, it does not make sense, so they called the general manager and he found the correct booking number and everything was shorted out

Good location, close to restaurants and entertainment, friendly staff and speedy service.

Booked a family room, which was perfect. However, was not informed that the 3rd floor is a smoking floor. Therefore, the passages, lift, and at night got the smell of other guests smoking. They had 3 large tour groups, which meant breakfast was slightly delayed/longer wait for other guests. Perhaps they could accommodate larger groups in a conference venue. A lot of guests checked out without having their breakfast. It almost seemed that they could not handle the capacity, and we felt rushed to eat and get moving for the next family to sit.

The room I stayed in was extra comfortable and cleaned everyday. The breakfast buffet was exceptional and had laterally everything that you could think of to eat. Your hotel staff can train other hotels on conduct towards a guest. Always friendly and helpful. My overall stay was so good that I will always return.

The shuttle service that picked me up at the airport was great. The use of the hotel transport, I feel, was very pricy and I had to make use of a local taxi that is recommended by the hotel, which worked out fine. Friday 10/01/25 I waited too long for the hotel shuttle that services the airport to take me to the main hotel at the spa. If someone told me that I could walk through the hotel and casino, I would not have spent 45 minutes waiting for transport to drop me there. I did not receive the correct information at the time.

This was our second stay at Metcourt, and the service has improved significantly since our last visit. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the quality of the bedding is a great bonus. If you're using an Uber, make sure to have R10 available for the driver to pay at the gate, as this was a new requirement we hadn't encountered before. Our flight was quite early, so the staff thoughtfully packed a breakfast for us—what a pleasant surprise! We were truly impressed. There are restaurants within walking distances and a movie theatre / game center for the kids as well.

The fact that the Uber driver had to pay R10 at the gate was a bit inconvenient. It might be a good idea to have a designated lane for Uber drop-offs and pick-ups, as they are providing a service by transporting your guests.

Very convenient location for attending a congress at Emperor's Palace - my colleagues and I regularly stay at Peermont Metcourt. The room was clean and supplied with everything needed for a two-night stay, including a very comfortable bed. Great buffet breakfast and efficient service from the staff. Being able to leave suitcases in a locked luggage storeroom before check-in is an added bonus.

No complaints.

The beds were some of the most comfortable I've slept in. The airport shuttle makes the location fairly convenient. I wasn't interested in a casino but the arms and restaurants are great. Reception staff were great.

Breakfast was decent but I expected more. The staff generally we efficient at keeping things cleaned and stocked but a bit indifferent to guests. The gentleman making the omelettes was super friendly though. All the baked goods, bread, pastries, etc. tasted like the were at least a day old. There was a wide selection and the hot food was really good.

On the 12th September..MI nearly suffocated in the toilet after a door couldn't open. I spent 2 hours in the toilet screaming...banging for people to rescue me without any luck. The door handles now broke. I was now giving up..the only option was to pray. I started banging again until the handle broke and a steel appeared. By God's grace..I was able to twist the handle and the door opened. The incident was traumatic. I reported to the house keeper who arranged mantanance. I'm not sure if they informed management. I' still have trauma. It was scary and am still scared

Located near airport in a safe location. Paid for a private hotel pick up from airport which was reliable and good service . Caught the free shuttle service back to the airport the next day - also an excellent service. Breakfast was great as were staff. The hotel was full due to an event the previous evening but the food was always replenished as were the crockery and cutlery. Room was comfortable . Selection of restaurants at Emperors Palace within easy walking distance. Great hotel if you want a reasonably priced location near the airport .

Not an issue but our room only had a shower no bath.

They helpfulness and understanding of the managment, and making my bad luck and enormous loss have some silver lining. Truly for me, it's my favourite place to stay now, and I will be a loyal repeat guest for life. Well, done guys, and thank you

I would say at the time of making the booking a more personal and faster reply would be helpful during the process so you can finalise your booking at the same time, I stead of a email a day to each other. But just me personal preference.

Beds very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Service and staff very friendly, helpful and quick to help. I always enjoy my stay there. Feel very safe and so convenient to get a free shuttle to and from airport every half hour. That is a real win, not to have to find taxi or uber.

Some toiletries were missing so i had to call room services twice, but they come quickly to help you - service very good. The air con wasnt working on the first night even though the technician tried to fix it, However was sorted the following day. they also came very quickly to help The floors were a little dusty under the beds and under the carpet rugs. /carpets next to the bed seemed very grundgy and "sticky" as if they could do with a good scrub. I wanted to roll them up put them under the bed hence saw the dust etc . Otherwise linen and everything else nice and clean.
