The decor, atmosphere and staff in the cocktail bar were excellent. The cocktails were excellent. We took the compliment bikes for a ride to the forty foot. We visited the Martello tower where the view from the top was excellent, the staff there were informative and it is free to enter. Our room was very comfortable and clean with tea/coffee facilities, sparkling and still water and a good array of toiletries including toothbrush and toothpaste. The view from our room was a lovely vista of the pier and the sea beyond. Our breakfast was lovely and well worth it as it was a small bit pricey.

Maybe some hand cut fruit on the breakfast buffet to add to the lovely yogurt. The heating could not be turned down.

I have stayed here a couple of times and it's an ideal hotel for short stays. I travel for work and it is perfect for my needs. The breakfast is excellent, there is parking nearby and it's 60 seconds to Dun Laoghaire pier for a walk after a long day or before meetings in the morning. Unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to use their bar but it looks lovely and appears to be a popular spot. This is an ideal place if you're looking for something different to the standard business hotel. The staff were all very kind and attentive.

This place is a real gem! i had wanted to stay somewhere near the Forty Foot and this cute hotel popped up. It's in an old building that has been renovated and has so much character. The staff is so lovely. They have a cute passport that they will stamp as you visit all the baths in the area. We got 2 stamps! They also have bikes you can use and free towels to warm yourself up after a dip in the Irish Sea!

That we couldn't stay longer! We were in for a wedding in Mullingar so this was a short 2 night stay. I could easily spend a week here!

This location is fantastic right in front of the main boardwalk/pier. The hotel is 100% charming. All personnel were awesome! The restaurant and bar are exceptional. All this, and it is a historical property! Our room had a bay view even. We took the bus line originally and later the train to Dublin. The stations were right there. Hands down, the best decision we made was booking this place!!!

Not much to dislike and I am picky. Not sure it has air conditioning but who needs it in Ireland on the sea even in August! We slept with the white, dreamy comforters!

Many staff members (Emma, her Brazilian colleague, Teresa from hospitality) were so helpful and friendly that even Hr should be rewarded. This is how I imagine a hotel where staff works for the best experience of the guests. This resulted in a wonderful stay! The room was a superb design. Great views. The 4-beaches-passport is an exceptional idea! The cocktail library is yet to be explored, but we're planning an extra visit. Oh, and the bikes! They made the Dalkey beaches and parks very approachable. All in all: thank you so much! Marta and Lili

The keycards killed by mobile phones. Best is to store them somewhere else or else you won't be able to use the elevators(which are operated by the keycards.

Another wonderful stay. This hotel is perfect for a little getaway and ticks all the boxes for us - wonderful friendly staff, always with a smile on their face and nothing is too much trouble for them. Fantastic restaurant, beautiful outdoor seating area and bar which opens when the weather permits, the most amazing (award winning) cocktail bar....make sure you get the breakfast, it is divine. Lovely comfortable beds, and quirky little extra touches in the room. It has the most amazing views and has Dun Laoghaire pier right on it's doorstep. We've stayed multiple times and can't wait to go again!

Nothing, we didn't want to leave!!

The hotel is really cozy overall and the staff was really kind; we arrived before check-in and asked if they could store our bags, which they did without hesitation. Our room was easily accessible and with a lot of space. The bed was big and comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was amazing. The window of the bedroom had some nice views of the sea and the street. The wi-fi was super fast, although the tv in the room was really tiny. We didn't try the restaurant, but it seemed lovely.

That we only stayed for one night.

Stunning property

A lot of staff were accommodating at reception and in bar. As I checked in after 9pm, restaurant was closed. I asked staff member was it okay if I ordered a takeaway to eat in the bar they said no problem. When I went out to get takeaway and came back in a different staff member told me the bar area and surrounding seating was for drinks only. I did find this a bit rude, considering I was staying in the hotel. I sat out in the lobby with my cocktail and takeaway. That was the only thing I didn’t like was unfortunately this staff members snobbish demeanour

Location, convenient parking, friendly helpful staff, room decor. Breakfast with lovely views

First room We were given had an outlook onto a light well. We could hear the kitchen fans when we opened the window which would not close. The reception staff gave us a better room when we complained.
