My recent stay at Jungfrau Hotel Wilderswil was nothing short of extraordinary—it was truly the best hotel experience I’ve ever had! From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcomed by the warm and attentive staff, who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Charlotte and the lady room attendant were very friendly and made me feel home during my stay. The room view was absolutely breathtaking—each morning felt like a dream as I woke up in awe of the stunning scenery. It was the kind of view that makes you pause, take a deep breath, and feel grateful for the moment. Truly unforgettable! I would highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends travelling to Switzerland. My experience was so exceptional that I’m already looking forward to returning—it’s a place I’d gladly revisit!

You're just steps from the train station. A minor detail, the shower curtain, could have been cleaner, but the overall experience was exceptional."

We booked two rooms for two people each, with breakfast included, for our group of four. Upon check-in, the receptionist confirmed '4 people, right?' but then insisted we owed extra for breakfast, claiming we hadn't registered one person per room. Despite showing her our booking confirmation with breakfast clearly listed, she demanded an additional 60 francs (20 francs per day for two people). I feel completely misled and unfairly charged. This contradicts my understanding of the booking and my past experiences with Booking.com. While I paid to avoid further complications, I'm extremely dissatisfied and seek clarification and a refund.

The staff were friendly and welcoming and made us feel special. The balcony and views of farmland and mountains were perfect and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The discount in the restaurant was appreciated and the breakfast was good. Location close to the train station was very handy also

The room was a little on the small size and it was a bit difficult maneuvering around the bed to get to the toilet or door. And going up and down the stairs with backpacks on and all the doors that needed to be opened was a little inconvenient

The location is amazing. The town avoids the crowds and noise of the more frequented tourist areas. The hotel is close to the railroad and bus station but not so close to hear the trains. The view of the snow capped mountains from the rooms balcony was very relaxing. There is a food store across from the train station. The towns eating spots including, an amazing Italian restaurant, are all within a short walt. Our room was very clean and we enjoyed the comfortable beds. Everything was correctly described in the hotels description so there were no surprises. The check-in was fast and all of the people were very friendly. We enjoyed the attached hotel restaurant. The salad bar and the gellato desserts were our favorites. We liked that we could go to Lauderbrunnen by train, sightsee, take a train up the hillside, hop on a gondolla to the top of the valley and then walk to another gondolla for the ride down the otherside of the mountain to Grendelwald Terminal. Sight see then take a train back to an uncrowed country town. The town has a lot to see close to the hotel. See pictures.

This hotel was perfect for our family trip. We reserved four rooms and everyone was happy! The staff was very nice, especially the breakfast staff. Speaking of breakfast, it was a great variety and delicious. The location was perfect as it was a 5 minute walk to the train station and away from the business of Interlaken. Would definitely stay again here.

Can’t really think of anything

Motorcycling holday mid September with another couple - loved the secure parking. Absolutely wonderful hotel in spectacular scenery. Our room had an amazing view of the Jungfrau. Very close to the train station and if you stay at the hotel you get free travel. We used it to go into Interlaken each day though it was a nice walk - about 30 mins. Breakfast was very good and we had dinner one night which was lovely. Staff were so helpful from weather forecasts to "must do attractions". It is a great base for exploring the area. Hope to be one day.

Lovely little hotel in a nice quiet and relaxing area. Loved the serenity and looking out over the countryside hearing the cows with bells and the views of the Alps. Staff super friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast to get you going for the day. Lovely to have the balcony. Short walk to station. And great to have a lift.

Bathroom was small .. not a big deal but bit challenging to manoeuvre. But we got there. Otherwise extremely comfy spot.

Location is great, I absolutely loved the view of Jungfrau from the hotel rooms Free carparking is such a bonus. Breakfast is quite good, I loved the croissants there. The lady working at the breakfast time ( during our 3 nights stay ) was very lovely, she should have a payrise, it definitely elevated my experience during the stay.

The floor makes noises, so we could hear people walking from the floor above. It did not bother my sleep but it's definitely noticeable. Half board menu for dinner was very underwhelming, I would rather have chosen Ala Carte if I knew earlier.

Very convenient walk from train station. Quiet and peaceful. Karima at reception desk was extremely helpful and friendly our entire stay. We requested to extend our stay for a third night and she made it possible to keep us in our original room. She helped us with a running route suggestion for my husband and also the best train to Zurich Flughafen.

Would have liked to have some plant-based options at breakfast like hot oatmeal or plant milk for cereal. A mini fridge in our room would be helpful.

Location is great, close to train station where easy to get access to the nearby attractions. (loved the free train ticket to Interlaken). The room was nice with view to the mountains and the bed was very confortable. Breakfast selection was better than what we got in the other hotels travelling around Europe. But mostly we liked the staff, all very friendly and helpful. It is a great hotel with good value for the money.
