We enjoyed the trip very much. The room is very comfortable and clean! It's a quiet town where you can meet lots of cute cats, see lots of stars at night. It is easy to get to Interlaken and Grindelwald from here. In addition, thanks to the kind host, we lost the key, they did not ask us to compensate, I hope everyone to come here for vacation!

Spotlessly clean, comfortable.very hospitable owners and staff. Good breakfast choice. Bowl of fruit and chocolate on arrival. Plenty of tourist information and helpful hints from Gabi and Fritz. The mini fridge was ideal for keeping our drinks and small food items chilled. Comfortable bed and great shower Good views of the Eiger and Munch from the breakfast area.

Bathroom is opposite the bedroom in an area also used by the owner. Not an issue but not as private as we would prefer. It would have been nice to have a garden area to sit it but the seats provided were good for the space available

Owners, Gabi and Fritz are excellent hosts! Wonderful breakfasts every morning with pleasant conversation and advice for day planning if needed. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Chalet Gafri is a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle of Interlaken in the quant town of Wilderswil. Easily accessible to and from anywhere in the Jungfrau region by train and/or bus.

Not a complaint for us because we got an early start each day but for those who would like to sleep in, our room was directly above the breakfast room. At around 7 AM you can hear the guests entering, chatting and sometime laughing in the breakfast room which was directly below our beds.

We were treated to an unparalleled level of hospitality that truly enhanced our vacation experience with my family (with 2 kids). From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the hosts, Mr. Fritzi and Mrs. Gabi, spared no effort in ensuring our comfort and satisfaction leaving an indelible impression of their hospitality The chalet itself was immaculately maintained, boasting stunning views of the surrounding mountains and offering a cozy retreat from the bustling world outside. Every detail, from the plush furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen was thoughtfully curated to provide guests with a home away from home. Nestled amidst breathtaking natural beauty, it provided convenient access to hiking trails, charming villages, and other attractions, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the splendor of the Alps. However, what truly set Chalet Gafri apart was the warmth and attentiveness of the hosts, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, greeting us with genuine smiles and taking the time to acquaint us with the chalet and its amenities, they were readily available throughout our stay to address any inquiries or concerns, offering invaluable local insights and recommendations that allowed us to make the most of our time in the area.

This place met our expectations!!

Chalet Gafri is located in a rural suburb of Interlaken, and the Interlaken train station is just a short ride away on the local train. The guesthouse is surrounded by a lovely garden, and beyond that, forests and green fields. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was good and satisfying. The hospitality from our hosts, Fritz and Gabi, was warm and friendly. They ensured we lacked for nothing and provided us with helpful advice on trips in the area. We enjoyed every moment and will cherish the sweet memory. We felt like we were among good friends.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful chalet in Wilderwil, Switzerland, and it truly felt like a home away from home, thanks to our hosts, Mr. Fritz and Mrs. Gabi. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel like we were staying with close family or friends. The village of Wilderwil is a sight to behold, with its mesmerizing beauty that captures the essence of Switzerland's enchanting landscapes. 😍 The facilities at the chalet were more than adequate, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast featuring authentic Swiss cuisine—absolutely loved the bread, butter, and sausages! *While a bit more variety day-to-day would have been appreciated, the authentic taste of the food, provided a delightful compensation for the limited selection.. 😉 Overall, our stay was wonderful, and we highly recommend this chalet to anyone looking to experience genuine Swiss hospitality in a picturesque setting. We're already looking forward to our next visit with Mr. Fritz and Mrs. Gabi! 😇

The Chalet exceeded our expectations at every level. Fritz and Gabi were exceptional hosts, offering to help us plan our visit, answering any questions we had, and helping with transportation. Our room on the ground floor level was modern, comfortable, cozy, and peaceful. The place is immaculate! Although they make the kitchen available to cook your own meals, we opted to walk to dinner each evening at the nearby restaurants. We loved staying in a local neighborhood surrounded by the beautiful mountains and meadows, classic Swiss chalets, and the distant sound of cow bells. A lovely stay!

I can’t think of a thing!

Room was very clean, hosts were great! Plenty of little touches that were outstanding (some premium chocolates in the room), a well laid out guide book. Hosts picked us up from the town for 8 Euros. Their communication and helpfulness was great and outstanding. They assisted us with finding the best time to go to the top of the Schilthorn mountain. Convenient to Interlaken, and the rest of Lauterbrunnen valley. There are municipal public springs on the street outside that has the freshest, cleanest water I have ever tasted! The room was very clean, well equipped, the bathroom was modern. Great blinds if you want zero sun or to sleep in.

It's a few minute walk to the main street with the train/bus station and grocery store. Not an issue but if you have mobility problems you should be aware. We were offered a room upgrade with a mountain view for about 30-40 Euros extra. There was a good view but with the building and layout it didn't seem like much of an upgrade. The entire valley is breath taking (there were parachutists skydiving their hearts out, beautiful waterfalls, and the mountains are breath taking) are great just not sure the room has the best view.

Fritz and Gabi were gracious hosts, and very helpful with any of our needs. The property has beautiful views, is very clean, and was perfect for my friend and I to stay over for two nights. Would recommend to anyone.

-Parking is tough if you are not comfortable in small spaces. -The town is quiet (negative for us, but positive for others), but central to both Interlaken and Grindelwald / Lauterbrunnen - easy access to both via public transportation. -Nothing bad to say about our overall stay / experience!

Fritz and Gabi are hosts like I've never seen anywhere else. They were very kind and helpful. We were overwhelmed by how they welcomed us—with even a basket of fruits and drinks because we had a delay and informed them that we would arrive later. The room is very pleasant, spacious, and clean. New facilities and everything very good. Wonderful breakfast. My young children loved the place. Definitely, on our return to the Interlaken area, we will look for them to stay there again.
