We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff is friendly and welcoming. There's a free car parking included. The location was very good and we enjoyed the area. Breakfast was rich and tasty and the overall experience was very good.

On the first day the Air Conditioner was set to fan mode when it was extremely hot in the area (we couldn't change it as it was centrally controlled and locked from within the room). We notified the front desk the same day, but they didn't solve it until the next day (as it was already night time). The next day we asked another person front desk and she immediately knew what needs to be done and by the time we came back to the room the AC worked perfectly.

I stayed at Alpenblick Hotel hoping for a relaxing countryside experience, but unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. The property is located in a quiet rural town, which offers some charm, but the building itself is an old house that feels dated and not well maintained. Cleanliness was below standard — both in the room and common areas — and the lack of air conditioning made the stay uncomfortable, especially during warm weather. The layout and amenities were not convenient for guests, which added to the overall discomfort. With proper maintenance, improved cleanliness, and some basic upgrades, this hotel could make much better use of its location. Unfortunately, in its current state, I would not recommend it.

This place felt like a home! All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, especially as I was on my own they made me feel extra looked after. The restaurant staff especially were extremely friendly and i felt like i knew them after only the two nights staying here. The room was the perfect size for what i needed. The old chalet felt very traditional and added to the charm of the place. The location was exactly what i was looking for- somewhere quiet and peaceful with beautiful scenery. It was easy to get anywhere i wanted as it was only a short walk to either a bus or the train station. The restaurant/bistro on site was so good i chose to eat there both nights instead of going into interlaken for dinner. My stay here has really made me want to return to the Jungfrau region and when i do, i will certainly be staying here again.

I’ve traveled to over 15 countries, yet this is the first time I felt compelled to leave a review for a hotel restaurant. Under the guidance of Chef Yvonne, you’re invited to experience an exceptional journey into authentic Swiss cuisine. During my travels, I always try to explore local dishes—but rarely have I found a concept that offers such a complete and immersive culinary experience. The Swiss Bistro at this property provides a unique opportunity to savor traditional dishes, right where they belong. What impressed me most was not just the taste, but also the thoughtful way the team introduces guests to local dining customs. For those sensitive to alcohol, it’s also worth noting that they can prepare fondue without it—an elegant and accommodating touch. If you're looking to try genuine Swiss flavors, there's no need to look any further. This place is simply outstanding.

I chose this hotel because it had free parking (something that is not easy to find in Switzerland) and breakfast was included in the stay. I also thought its aesthetics were very traditional. The experience was much better than I had imagined. It was my birthday and I didn't even mention it to them. I woke up to a very nice surprise, which made my day even better. Regarding the room, the shower was very good, the water was at the right temperature, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were very clean. It was absolutely silent to sleep in. The breakfast was wonderful, everything was of very high quality. They had bread that I believe is the best I have ever had in my life, worthy of an award! We regret not having had dinner at the hotel restaurant that night. Judging by the breakfast, it must have been incredible. We ended up buying wine outside and some snacks to eat outside, and the hotel was even kind enough to lend us glasses. It was a joy, thank you very much! I would like to come back one day.

A surprised to us, at least parts of the hotel are 400 years old. The rooms are fresh and ample enough for two and you get a feeling of being at home with all the old artifacts on the walls all over. The breakfast was also Stunning with house cheeses and at least ten kinds of bread to choose from, among other things.

No air conditioning, so it got a little warm in the later part of the day. A fan coming standard in the room would have been a good move though we didn’t end up asking for one.

Loved the property. We got late for our check-in but yet the instructions given for check-in was very clear. The room was clean and well-maintained. Our room had a great view as you can see the hills from the window. The breakfast was good but we were vegetarian so options were very limited. The property is away from interlaken ost but yet the bus comes really close to the property and one can reach to interlaken in 15 mins. Overall we liked this place and recommend to stay.

Very easy to get to the hotel from the train station - just a flat, five minute walk. We ate dinner in the hotel one night which was great (did not pre-book and it was fine). Breakfast is included and very nice. No lifts or anything as it's an old house so just be aware you'll have to walk up some stairs to get to the rooms.

Not much that could be done, but we had some noisy neighbours and as it's an old house it isn't very sound proofed. Just something to bear in mind if you have young children or come back late.

Beautiful property, renovated 400+ year old building. Rooms comfortable and with beautiful balcony view. Classic European breakfast served daily. Dining area and outdoor terrace comfortable and inviting. Staff is pleasant, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the surroundings, where to go what to do. Ten minute bus to Interlaken center. Will definitely return to this lodge next visit.

The property had a beautiful view with a homey feel and good amenities. This is a hotel which is genuine and has a strong sense of localness. It is safe to say this is an authentic experience. It was my birthday on the last day of our stay and they put a birthday card on our door which had my name on it which shows how much the hotel cares about its customers. The restaurant lives up to its Michelin star and is always hot and fresh.
