The apartment gives a very scenic view from the living room. Facilities are good. Exceptionally clean rooms.

There's no cleaning during the stay. If no car, it's a 20 minutes downhill walk to Interlaken west. On return, so it will be a uphill climb. May not be the best for people with mobility issues and if has no own vehicle.

Walk to the hotel from city center was a bit hard being up hill.

The location has great views, but is close to the motorway so can be noisy if all the doors and windows are open. Easy to drive to Interlaken, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen etc, but would be a bit of a trek if walking. The apartment on the top floor overall was well sized and well appointed and easy to use for cooking, etc for a family of 6.

One of the rooms is only really suitable for children, as it’s a pullout sofa bed with narrow mattresses and a bit cramped and uncomfortable for adults, but the other rooms and beds are very good.

We had a wonderful stay at Waldhotel Spunnen. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and very attentive. They made us feel at home right away and were especially kind to our dog, which we truly appreciated. The atmosphere of the hotel is cozy and inviting, and everything was clean and comfortable. The location is also excellent—quiet and peaceful, yet still close to Interlaken and the surrounding attractions. We felt really well taken care of and would happily return. Highly recommended for travelers looking for friendly hospitality in a beautiful setting.

The Property is very easily accessible from Interlaken West as well as East. It is highly recommended that one takes a Taxi to the hotel when one has baggage to lug, since the nearest bus stop is 10-12 mins walk. On taxi you reach hotel in 4 mins at the doorstep. We were received at Reception by Mattias, a very pleasant and friendly gentleman. In fact the entire staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. We were given a room with a wonderful view of the sprawling country side and Mt Moonch and Jungfrau snow clad mountains.. we simply loved the view as well as the hotel

The room was small in size and we had lots of luggage. So it felt a little cramped up.

Such a beautiful hotel. The view from the room balcony was amazing, sitting out in the evening with a coffee and enjoying the view! The room was a good size, plenty of storage for clothes and items. Coffee machine and water jug provided. Loved the fact that they had sockets suitable for all so the international adaptor would work and they had USB sockets too! The staff were great and the breakfast was good too. They have a common kitchen space as well for guests to use with table and chairs and a microwave which was brilliant if you bring food back. Also has a washer and dryer and ironing board with iron to iron your clothes! It is truly a beautiful hotel to stay at!

Squeaky floor in room but it wasn't a big issue! Staff at breakfast were delaying in refilling some items even after being asked several times from different guests. It's about a 20 min walk from Interlaken West Station with about half of it being up hill on a country road, so just be aware of that.

Breakfast was amazing!! So glad we decided to add that on, although it's interesting that they never checked to see if people paid for it. The room was perfect for the three of us (2 parents and one adult kid). Sure, it was tight, but we were only there to sleep! Loved sitting on the terrace and enjoy a drink and take in the view!

Really nothing I can think of. It was a tad expensive, but I imagine that can't be helped.

The view, the breakfast were splendid. But the best thing for me were the staffs. They were amazing, helpful, prompt, and efficient from the get go. Be that suggestions for planning a trip, getting problems regarding the room sorted or any other queries. They really made us feel like we were staying in a home!

A slightly bigger room would have been better. But frankly, the view more than makes up for it. The hotel is a little difficult to access if you rely on public transports and you have family members who cannot walk with luggage. There is a 10- to 12-minute, slightly uphill walk to the hotel from the nearest bus station. If you have a car, then do not worry at all, there are plenty of parking spots available.

Staff were fantastic age very helpful. Breakfast was great and even included scrambled eggs. Our room was at the end of the building and had a window and little balcony with views of the mountains and trees, which was lovely!

It was a bit noisy at times from the room above as the floor boards creaked when the people walked around. No public transport close to the hotel meant walking with luggage up a road, with a bit of an incline, without a footpath for around 10 minutes. Without luggage the walk was okay.

Breakfast was g8 with g8 views sitting outside. I loved the mountain views.

Dinner offered in restaurant at night, need more variety and a fridge in the room would of been good.
