Pros: - close to the airport (20min uber ride) - Literally outside the Aliados metro station which is very convenient - Hotel is located on the main road but rooms are well insulated as there were no noise heard from the outiside - Walkable to most of porto highlights (5min walk to Mercado do Bolhao, 10min walk to Clerigos Tower and Porto Cathedral, 10mins walk to Santa Catarina street and more) - Hotel is surrounded with good food places, just open google maps and search based on your liking. There’s a really good Churrasqueira place that is a 5min walk from the hotel. Definitely a must visit! Resto name - Churrasqueira Moura. - Very accommodating and kind staff. Upon arriving, we were welcomed with the bell man to deliver our luggages to our rooms - Welcome drinks and snacks were available at the lobby and also in your room (bottled water and gourmet chips) - Provides bottled water and complimentary chocolates daily in your room. - Provides free amenities (robes, slippers, sleeping kits - eyemask and earplugs, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, showercap, good quality shampoo, conditioner and shower gels) - Water pressure is good for showering. - Daily housekeeping includes new sheets and towels - Rooms and washrooms are tidy and clean. The sheets and pillows are very comfortable and smells that they were fresh from the laundry. - view from the room was amazing! We had the room by the street facing the Camara Municipal de Porto.

Cons: - Walls are thin between rooms as you can hear ppl murmuring / footsteps. So if you’re a light sleeper this could be a concern - Slow wifi inside the rooms - No exhaust system in the shower and toilet so the moisture and steam can be trapped inside if shower/toilet doors are not opened after use - Elevators are a bit slow and small so if you have big luggages, definitely ask the receptionist to deliver them down.

We arrived at Porto Airport on April 28th, 2025, just minutes before the power outage hit Portugal, Spain, and France. The chaos was absolute, and panic reigned everywhere. Once we reached the Hotel Eurostars Aliados, it dawned on me over the following hours that I had booked the absolutely perfect hotel. We spent hours in the lobby, thankfully able to charge our phones using their emergency power supply. We watched the hotel staff for hours, and they handled the situation incredibly calmly and professionally. I was truly grateful to be staying at the Eurostars Aliados during that time. Thank you again to the wonderful staff!! The rooms were incredibly clean, almost like newly renovated, a great size, and felt very comfortable. The hotel's location was perfect; almost everything was within walking distance. I can also highly recommend the SPA.

The location is perfect in city center and every thing you need in Porto are around the hotel. Gym is nice, clean and all machines are new. Breakfast variety can be better. Bath room is big and three different and separate parts for sink , toilet and shower which is so nice.

In bath room was not any hanger for cloth and towel and also there only one bin in toilet part.

+ Excellent location – all major attractions and shops are within a 15–20 minute walking distance, + Breakfast was good and standard, similar to what you'd expect in other hotels of the same category – we only ate there once, as on the other days we opted for better breakfasts in nearby cafés that specialize in breakfast, + Excellent and cosy spa – clean, well-maintained, with very friendly staff and great masseuses. I recommend going on weekdays, as it gets quite crowded on weekends, + My request for a high floor was fulfilled, and we received a room with a fantastic terrace and a view of the town hall, + The hotel staff at the reception were very kind and helpful, + We used the laundry service – our clothes came back ironed, nicely folded, and smelling fresh

- The wardrobe in the room was relatively small. If you're staying for more than 3 days, you might find there's not enough space for your clothes, - The bathroom had only two hooks for wet towels, which made it difficult to hang bathrobes, towels, and swimsuits to dry,

The hotel has an excellent location. The reception staff were very friendly and extremely helpful in listening to and accommodating guest requests. The restaurant and spa staff were also very kind and welcoming. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which made the stay very comfortable. We also appreciated the daily chocolates on the bed and the hotel’s generosity in allowing a late check-out.

Communication at the spot with housekeeping was difficult as the staff did not speak English. Also, there was no proper swimming pool available for actual swimming.

Really clean and facilities inside were excellent, The barman was very friendly and the food was excellent

Eurostars Aliados offers an incredible location in one of the most beautiful areas of Porto. The hotel is conveniently located above a metro station, though you may not need it, as Porto is easily walkable despite its hills. Major attractions are within comfortable walking distance, and there are plenty of good restaurants around the hotel. The facility itself is spacious and offers a varied breakfast with many options. Overall, we had a positive experience.

We did notice a few areas where improvements could enhance the stay: - The scent in the lobby was not pleasant and could be replaced with a more welcoming fragrance. - The elevator is very slow and could benefit from an upgrade to improve speed. - The water pressure in the shower was low and should be improved for a better experience. - The room sizes feel rather small, though this is not uncommon in central Porto and may not bother all guests. Despite these minor points, Eurostars Aliados is still worth trying when visiting Porto — especially for its excellent location and overall comfort.

Okay, here it goes.... The place was once an amazing building which most likely stood out. Today it is still beautiful,. The building is a bit worn down, inside, but kept quite clean. The amenities are okay in the room. The location is wow, right in the top middle of the city. Short walk to anywhere. The staff was extremely professional and mannered. This is a plus.

The jacuzzi was cold water only. The maid puts the TV control on the side opposite the telephone. When I am alone it is annoying reaching over the humoungous comfortable bed to get the remote.

The hotel was very peaceful given it's central location. We loved being able to sleep so well after a long day's sightseeing; the room was so spacious and extremely comfortable. Being within walking distance of all that this wonderful city has to offer was a real bonus and we felt that by staying at this hotel, we really made the most of the time we had in Porto!

There really wasn't much we didn't like, but it has to be said that breakfast was disappointing. The variety of food was limited, particularly hot food and the lack of any table service, even for just fresh tea and coffee, made us feel that the price per person of €20 was unjustified.

The property was nicely located in the historical center and many things worthwhile seeing at walking distance. A nice spa with sauna, steam bath and jacuzzi was at the disposal of guests. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They made a nice proposal for dinner - Graham's Port Factory "Vinum"- on the occasion of my birthday and offered my spouse and me a drink at the restaurant.

The breakfast was extensive with a lot of healthy stuff to choose from. It was a pity that the quality of the food was not the same every day our stay: top quality on Tuesday and Wednesday but a bit less on Thursday and Friday (e.g. croissants were not fresh, bacon was cold).
