- Amenities within the room are a bit lacking. No storage space, coffee machine, kettle, bathrobes etc in the room. Par for the price category I guess. - Most attractions are quite some distance away. The U-bahn stop right in front of the hotel definitely helps but it does take some time to get to the city attractions. No good restaurants/bars in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

The hotel has a great location - right next to a metro station that takes you straight to the city center in just 10 minutes. There's also a parking garage in the opposite side of the street that costs around 8 euros a day. Schonbrunn castle is 15 minutes from the hotel by foot or 1 metro station away. The breakfast was very rich and had everything you would need. The staff are friendly, can speak English well and also let us keep our luggage there after we checked out. The rooms are well equipped, had a bodywash, hairdryer and some hangers for your jacket.

The bathroom is not separated from the room with a door so when you're showering people that are in the room can see you perfectly. This can be uncomfortable depending on who you're travelling with. The other room we had booked with our family did not have that issue since the bathroom was behind the bed and no one in the room could see the person inside.

The hotel is located in a great place, it is tidy and the people are friendly. Breakfast has a large selection and there is something for everyone. The elevator can only be operated from outside, so it takes time to get used to it. The rooms are arranged so that, for example, there are 700 rooms on the 7th floor, 400 rooms on the 4th. The lady who took us to check in is new to it, but she was accompanied by a gentleman who explained everything to her and helped her so that it also went without a problem. The rooms are very tidy, every day you get clean towels and the trash is emptied.

The only drawback is that parking is 25 euros per day, while parking across the street (public garage) is 9 euros/day with the application. In my opinion, hotel guests should have either a better price or even free parking. We stayed for 4 days and we would have paid more for parking than for 4 days of public transport.

Friendly and helpful staff, nice and spacious room. Modern design. I appreciated the possibility to turn off the lights (or to adjust which lights are on/off) in basically whole room straight from the bed. The whole hotel was very clean. Plenty of breakfast options, both sweet and savoury, changing a bit from time to time (however, some of the things were pretty salty). Helpful information on the busiest times in the breakfast room in the elevator. The location is great - just next to the U-bahn station with a good connection to the city centre, close to Schoenbrunn as well.

Not much of a storage space if you come for longer periods of time and more luggage - a small wardrobe or a couple of shelves would be nice. A bit weird system of getting into the hotel part from the entrance to the building. Also impossible to get into the building when the main entrance is closed without having to ring the reception - the card never worked somehow...

The plus: 1. Big room with a lot of space and enough seating for four. Also a desk with additional sockets. 2. The toilet and bathroom are separate. Very comfortable in a multi person room. Also there are public toilets available on floor 3 of the hotel (3 stall for each sex). 3. Personal socket and a place to place your items near each bed. So useful and comfortable. 4. Good lightning in the room and the bathroom. Light in the mirror. 5. Perfect location near the entrance of metro station. Shops and supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The small minuses: 1. The room does not have a mini fridge or a kettle 2. The breakfast is the same on all days. It has good enough variety and options but it is the exactly same every day. 3. The air con in the room is not temperature adjustable. It is the main unit kind and you only control the fan. Can't say if it's good as we stayed in spring and it didn't need it to work too hard to warm or cool the room. It was fine.

I liked the very modern hotel, its cleanliness, the room and especially the location in front of an underground station.

The attitude of two staff members working in the restaurant needs improvement. They should both take a course on customer care. In particular, one of these staff members—a Filipina, most likely—has been noticeably nervous and irritable. Despite her apparent hard work, she becomes angry over trivial matters, and treats people like kids. It is essential to remember that customers deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy. Customers pay to relax and not to be given lessons from staff. The other staff member is overly insistent on having customers use a tray for their plates, cups, and cutlery. People come for breakfast to relax and enjoy, not to perform the duties of the cleaning staff.

Gorgeous room, really modern and sleek, very clean. Great breakfast with a lot of choices! A shopping center in the building next to it where you could grab snacks and lunch. U-bahn station next to the hotel.

The housekeeper kept coming into the room, even though we had a do not disturb sign. They didn’t understand German or English when we said to come back in 15 min when we left. Also the pillows were quite low and didn’t offer much support; I’d suggest additional pillows in the room for guests to grab if needed.

I had a wonderful stay at H2 Hotel Wien Schönbrunn and would gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Vienna. Breakfast: The breakfast was a real highlight — easily one of the best I’ve had in this price range. There were plenty of fresh options, including a variety of breads, pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, fruits, and vegetables. Scrambled eggs, sausages, and vegetable options were also available. For those with a sweet tooth or dietary preferences, there was something for everyone. Everything was well-stocked and replenished regularly, even during peak hours. Cleanliness & Comfort: The rooms and public areas were spotlessly clean and well-maintained. My room was modern, functional, and comfortable, with smart design choices that made the most of the space. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day. Location: Another huge plus is the location — the hotel is right next to a subway station, making it incredibly easy to get to the city center or explore Schönbrunn Palace and surrounding areas. Despite being so close to transit, the area was quiet and felt safe. Final Thoughts: Overall, H2 Hotel Wien Schönbrunn delivers great value, comfort, and hospitality. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this hotel offers a reliable and pleasant stay. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in Vienna.

Amazing location - a few steps away from the train station. Four train stations away from Karlzolads (city center). Zoo and Schonbrun Palace are very close, a walking distance of 10-15 minutes from the hotel. Restaurant “Sokače” is a 5 min walk from the hotel, and they serve amazing, tasty food. There is a Vapiano restaurant just on the corner from the hotel. Also, there is a small shopping mall next to the hotel building. They clean rooms every day and give new towels. Breakfast was amazing.

The walls are too thin, you could hear even someone walking slowly down the hall. Otherwise, the perfect place to stay at.

The location is great, just a 10 min walk to Schonbrunn Palace. When you get out of the hotel, you literally are next to the metro station U4. The room is big and comfortable, with a separate toilet and separate shower and sink, which is an excellent idea, very futuristic design of the furniture, we loved it. For me it didn't matter, but keep in mind that there are no single use kits with makeup remover pads and ear buds, only soap and shower gel. Breakfast is continental and very good. Restaurant of the hotel is very nice and it is opened till 11 pm, few meals available, but excellent taste. It is a great value for money for what the hotel is offering. No
