Location was fantastic. Walked to all the fun in Gaslamp and took 4 minutes to walk to the Padres game. Valet parking was more than worth the extra expense to not have to worry about finding parking or getting a rental towed. Even been to many cities across the country and this was a fantastic deal for the comfort of stay in your own apartment. Internet was nice and quick too.

Only issue we had (not Sentral's fault) was there was a busted sewer piper somewhere that made the entrance to the building and the street smell like sewer. That also kept us from wanting to open the window. Minor detail: not a single USB charging port in the whole unit so I borrowed one from the back of the TV.

It was great money for the buck. Bear in mind that its modality is something in between airbnb/hotel: reception desk until 7:00 p.m. but the access is very easy and simple with a code number, so don't need to worry about cards or keys; no restaurant, no room cleaning service, but surrounded by restaurants and places to eat. Very safe, comfortable, rooms with very good space, two TVs (at least in my room), Roku service that allows you to connect your streaming apps they will automatically log off after check out, and very well-equipped room with kitchenette and washing/dryer machine. Overall, great place to stay, just, then again bear in mind that you will not have room cleaning service during your stay.

This new hotel in the gas lamp district checks all the boxes. Convenient location walking distance to Gas Lamp District, Petco Park, Convention Center, Marina and Seaport Village. Rooms are modern, sleek, clean and well stocked. Need to be a bit tech savvy to navigate the security doors, elevators and room doors... speaking to the older crowd ;-) Definitely a great value! I will stay here again in the future.

The facility is nice and clean. The room has a good size with a small kitchen. The location is great, not too far from restaurants and the convention center. The receptionists/managers are super nice and energetic. There is all day coffee and tea at the lobby. I didn't use the gym but it seems to be well-equipped. The lobby area has nice atmosphere if one wants to work a few hours.

The online check-in. It's supposed to make the process easier but it did not do the job. Messages were sent repeatedly and caused confusion. Maybe this can be fixed in the future.

The staff were fantastic, so friendly and welcoming. I did feel kind of disappointed with my room, though. I’d asked for a higher floor but ended up on level 2 at the back with no view (and I didn’t see that room pictured in your gallery). It stayed pretty dark in there all day. Just thought I’d share that feedback. Thanks!

Overall, my stay was a great experience! My stay was during the San Diego Comic Con, and it being only about a 10 min walk away from the convention center was great! The staff was extremely helpful during my stay, room was clean, view was nice, and comfortable. They also accommodated a late check out which I very much appreciated. On my last day there they also assisted with bringing down items since I was very over encumbered with the amount of items I had picked up from the convention. I would gladly return here for any future stays.

The only bumps in here in this stay is that some of the body wash gel they provide was low and unfortunately had to purchase some myself. Nothing major. Also, although convenient, the valet price was a tad high.

This property was stellar in every way! I felt secure (doors and elevators require codes for access) and every person on the staff went above and beyond! It was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. Absolutely spotless! Beautiful room with everything you could want. The bed felt like a cloud and the TV allowed access for my favorites to make me feel at home! The valet staff were exceptional. They even gave me flawless directions to get to the freeway when I was leaving (the city can be a bit chaotic after a game). I definitely see this place as an oasis in a crazy city! Highly recommended!!

I was celebrating my birthday with one of my friends and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had! They had very professional staff working and they were eager to help with check in and check out! Management was able to leave a nice birthday gift from all the staff and upgraded my room (I didn’t realize until after my stay)! I am so happy to choose this hotel for a girls trip! This room was very spacious and very clean! I enjoyed the balcony to enjoy the views of downtown! I strongly recommend this hotel to others and will stay again! Thank you Sentral Hotel for making my birthday trip special! :)

I had a great experience during my stay. The check-in and check-out process was incredibly smooth and efficient. The hotel itself is a brand new facility, and it really shows. Studio hotel had simple decor with built in washer/dryer and a little kitchen in excellent condition. It's clear that a lot of attention has been given to providing a comfortable and pleasant environment for guests.

One thing to note is the cost of parking. The hotel quoted me roughly $60-70 per night to park in their on-site structure, which I found to be quite steep. Fortunately, there are more affordable options nearby. I was able to find street parking and also noticed a few public parking lots in the area that charge significantly less. If you're looking to save money, I’d definitely recommend checking those out instead of using the hotel’s parking facility.
