Great location smack in the middle of Gaslamp Quarter/downtown San Diego, major attractions, all kinds of shops, restaurants, and transportation options all within walking distance. Staff was very kind and welcoming. Breakfast with a solid selection included in the price. My room was comfortable and spacious, great kitchenette with a fridge and a microwave, awesome bathtub AND a handheld shower for added comfort (I requested and was granted an accessible room). I had a great stay, and I recommend this property to all future travelers as well. Thank you so much!

So it is a pretty good hotel for a pretty good location in town that costs a pretty penny in order to stay. It is a solid place with a lot to do around for those who solo travel or travel with no kids. The room I got was pretty spacious and had a pretty nice view of some of the down town area. It also had a decently small kitchen area. I wasn't staying there long enough to cook there, but you can make some decent stuff if you are working with a pan. The internet connection to my room was decent and seemed to cover quite a bit of the hotel overall. Obviously it has a free and paid premium option available, so just choose whatever fits your budget for your stay. There is no hardline ethernet connection available, but if you plan on some light work or simply streaming videos to your phone, then it should suffice for most.

The price is a little bit higher than most are willing to swallow, and I feel that it can go a bit lower if you travelled with more people that are willing to chip in for a decently sized room to fit everyone, it should fit well and is better than some of the other options available. The options for food and entertainment in the area are also tailored more to adults, so I'd recommend going to stay here if you are an adult and can stomach the cost of the hotel and some of the available restaurant options in the area. Overall, a little bit pricy, but kind of matches the bill for most of the area anyways.

Great location. Walking distance to the convention center and variety of restaurants. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was better than I expected.

Towels were soft, but not absorbent. TV was located in an odd spot (over the sofa) so only place to view it was from the bed. Check In person wasn't very welcoming. Same person at check out. She was dozing off when we approached the desk to check out. She said printer wasn't working so we couldn't get a hard copy of our bill. She emailed it to us.

Excellent location. Place was nice.

Free breakfast buffet wasn't that good. Sausage was horrible, potatoes weren't very good. Orange juice even tasted a little off, almost like it was watered down or something. Also, the valet so that we could park our car... $65 per day! That wasn't mentioned anywhere when we booked the room. Room itself was nice though, complete with mini kitchen.

Friendly staff, quick check in and check out

Parking on property is too expensive. Park in the 24 hour garage 1 block down 6th with the entrance in the left, the other side of the street from the hotel. Do not use the parking lot directly after the hotel on the right, the same side of the street as the hotel-very expensive, parking spaces are very tight

The location of the hotel, in the center of a dynamic area, 5min walk from the trolley station, making it super convenient to explore then the city. Also 10min walk from the Sea side through the Convention Center stairs, great to admire the lights from Coronado Island at night time. The people at the front desk were very helpful during my stay: Monnet helped me to shape a one-day-discovery trip & advise me with yummy restaurants (loved La Puerta and went twice!), Raleigh helped me to find super shop Ralphs so i could come back to France with yummy american foods I liked also the set up of the room with the kitchen/table area, which allowed me to dine my "on the go" food as standing alone in a restaurant would not have been fun at all

The only comment would be the noise you could hear during the evening, especially the one coming from a club (boom boom vibrating noise), but after midnight it was quiet Maybe a little bit expensive for the room

Clean, the laundry, staff, location and facilities all fantastic. Was tossing up staying here or a newer/more expensive place across the road but so happy we stayed here. The breakfast is awesome so good. A lot of people in comments complained re valet but it’s $65 in all the hotels.

Loved everything but the towels looked clean but had a musky smell.

Liked the location was in a good area with alot of restaurants and shops. Was also very cool to see the Padres stadium from there. Staff was friendly. Only complaint was the bar had odd hours . Couldn't get a cocktail. But would definitely stay again.

They offered no smoking patio. I understand the smoke free rooms. But should at least offer a patio for smokers who stay.

Good accessible bathroom. The room seating was comfortable and enjoyed the coffee in the room. Very good breakfast selection.

We stayed in an accessible room (handicapped) which gave us a good accessible bathroom, but the bed was too high. My wife needed a step stool ( that I provided-just in case). Re-think adding a "normal" height type bed for handicapped guests.
