Firstly, the location of this property was just a 7 min walk from the nearest metro station which is a good way to move around the city overall; to walk to the Hard Rock Café it took no more than 10 mins if anyone likes to experience such venues on vacation ……. Furthermore, it was not much more than a 10-15 min walk to Trevi Fountain or the Spanish Steps. It was a very secure place with an entry code to access the main building from the street and an additional code (provided prior to arrival) to enter the main door to the Maison Spagna Suites on the second floor (and of course a key for the apartment itself) which was spotlessly clean and had everything one might imagine like a safe for personal belongings, fruit, shoehorn (😂) etc, etc. The greeting on arrival from the Representative was very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable overall. There is no 24 hr Reception service as such, but it was always easy to make contact by email or WhatsApp messages if there was a need for anything particular. The only point I might make, is don’t be misled by the ‘look’ of the main entrance door to the building (see photo) because it doesn’t reflect in any way, the standard, quality of the rooms inside and service provided. Overall it would be extremely challenging to obtain a better value for money when considering all aspects here. The taxi to transfer me to the airport at 06.15 hrs which I reserved through Maison Spagna Suites was early, and I was driven safely to take the flight home. I would absolutely return here and stay again on a future visit to Rome.

Great staff, Marlon and Jessica were very welcoming, available, and accommodating. This is undoubtedly the best bed & breakfast place I have stayed in many years of lodging in similar places. Maison Spagna is on the first floor of an old multipurpose building, that has been equipped with elevator. Marlon made arrangements for a van to pick up our family at the airport on arrival, and then to drive us back on departure. He also made himself available by cell phone via WhatsApp, an app that is commonly used in Europe and in Central and South America. Maison Spagna has four very clean and comfortable "all white" guestrooms with quality bed and bath linen, TV, mini fridge, air-conditioning, coffee maker, renovated bathroom with great amenities including white slippers. Breakfast is served in the room. The b&b's location in the historic district couldn't be more perfect. Except from further places like the Vatican, Castel Sant'Angelo, the Baths of Caracalla and the catacombs on Via Appia Antica, we walked to all the fountains, churches and monuments -- along with two children ages 9 and 5.

There was nothing we didn't like. We will be happy to stay there again.

Excellent location 15 mins from Trevi, Spanish steps and 10 mins from Via Barberetti sightseeing bus stop. Super comfy super king bed. Air conditioning (a bit noisy but okay) key code entry so need to bother with keys. 25 min walk from Termini. Very helpful staff on the desk.

Thin curtains and street lite up all night (shutters pull across windows which we discovered on the last day 🙄) quite noisy as window above a main road. Maybe black out blinds would be useful. Only one plug next to bed so had to unplug the lamp and no USB socket which these days would be useful.

The suites are in the center of the center of the city, it was so easy to step in and out - for a rest or to drop off items (or to grab an umbrella when it rained- which they kindly provided). The cleanliness is impeccable, comfy beds, awesome light changing shower(not sure all rooms have that) But the best, best part are the staff, Marlon and Syle went above and beyond, helping with anything we needed, and just overall all the workers are so sweet and kind. Would definitely book again!

Maison Spagna exceeded my expectation. 1. The location is fantastic for visiting Rome, within walking distance of all touristic attractions. Close to a metro station, with restaurants, gelatos, cocktail bars, stores nearby. 2. The room is just like the pictures, spacious and very clean! 3. The breakfast was great, we had a list of breakfast items to select from, and it was delivered on time by the staff to our room. 4. Marlon and Jessica are great hosts, they made sure our stay will be a positive one, and their recommendations were spot on! This is a place I definitely want to return to!

The property was easy to get to, central and walkable to many attractions in Rome. Marlon was a phenomenal host, nothing was too much for him. And the staff working here were all lovely too. Marlon gave us recommendations suited to our itinerary, and was very responsive if we needed anything. The rooms were a great size, perfect for my friends and I after a month in Europe to have a spacious room. Room was serviced daily at no extra charge, and was always left perfect.

Everything was great! Wifi slightly patchy at times but Marlon was great in helping to reset it to get it working.

Fabulous 2nd floor accommodation. Very clean and comfortable. Attention to detail was perfect with a very personal touch. Checkin easy. Fizz and snacks on arrival. The in room continental breakfast service was exceptional. Excellent choices. Fresh fruit also provided. A lovely touch/treat on our last night - snacks and a bottle of Chianti were provided. Taxis from and to the airport were arranged for us too! Location was perfect <5 minutes to the Spanish Steps, 6 minutes to the Trevi Fountain, 25 minutes to the Colosseum, 25 minutes to St Peter’s and the Vatican. Surrounded by lots of eateries. A huge thank you to the kind courteous staff for making our stay a memorable one. Highly recommended

A/C was a little noisy!

Centrally located. Easy to get to. Friendly staff. Due to our itinerary, while visiting, we were unable to enjoy breakfast however, they were kind enough to provide us alternatives which were quite helpful. Easy to communique with the staff very accommodating. Thank you very much to your kind and friendly staff. Accommodations were comfortable and just what we needed, a place to lay our head at the end of a very long day of sightseeing.

The location is amazing. We stayed for 4 nights and didn't have to use public transportation at all. Most attractions were within 15 minutes leisurely walk The colosseum was a 30 min walk. The street is a bit busy during the day with all the tourists, but you can only hear the noise if you decide to open the window. The elevator is definitely an experience and my son used it every time even though it was for only one flight. The host was very kind and accommodating. Would definitely book again!

Absolutely well located, nearby attractions like Piazza di Spagna and Fontana di Trevi - many other attractions reachable in walking distance or by public transport (also nearby). The staff and the service provided is amazing, the people are very supportive and friendly. The breakfast option is very good and it's served at your door.

The wifi connection is not great and depending on your room you might get a poor signal. Also, the mobile data is not great inside the room (although this is a problem in the whole country)
