Unique location with direct beach access. Very comfortable accommodations (comfy beds and spacious suite with balcony) facing the sea. Excellent food. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, taking care of our every need. Complimentary boat outing was a lovely and unexpected perk - as swimming in the Ionian Sea may be among the most delightful swimming experiences anywhere on the globe!

Due to its seaside location, the hotel is significantly smaller than its sister property. It is also prone to mold - as this odor can be detected in isolated corners where guests are not expected to venture. The hotel should pay extra special attention to this.

Everything was perfect! We were there for our honeymoon so the staff kindly upgraded us and gave us a beautiful bottle of wine that we enjoyed on our balcony. The breakfast was incredible, everything was thought out, and the attention to detail was fantastic. It's so great that you can enjoy the hotel by the sea but then also get a free shuttle up to Taormina and have access to the other Belmond hotel as well. All in all, we'll definitely be going back as we loved every minute.

The staff was amazing, truly the best I've ever experienced. Warm, friendly and very professional, happy to accomodate absolutely anything we asked for. Although it's an expensive hotel, it was worth it and the complimentary little surprises - complimentary evian facial spray at the beach, granita and biscuits, Easter cake delivered to our room - made it feel very special and good value.

The hotel has lovely views over the water and has particularly beautiful gardens, which are very peaceful. It is easy to get into Taormina old town either on the free shuttle bus or by the cable car which is directly opposite the entrance to the hotel. The hotel is a traditional old villa with extra rooms built in a separate block immediately next to the main house.

The first room we were offered was little more than a cupboard just off the reception area. In fairness when they saw how disappointed we were the staff immediately moved us to a very nice room with sea view and balcony. The restaurant was only averagely good but very pricey and the wine list was seriously overpriced. Also beware: there are stairs everywhere so it is not a suitable place for anyone with mobility issues.

The location is on the coast so you had to take a taxi or the complimentary shuttle to the town which is perched on top of the hill. You could walk if you were fit and energetic! We preferred the beachside setting with panormaic views across to Italy. The hotel is beautiful and the staff outstanding.

Absolutely stunning setting. Well maintained property with beautiful grounds. Little touches to welcome us and bid us goodbye. The beach and pool are both lovely. Service was consistently excellent. A little boat trip was included and was a lovely thing to do. We booked an Ape tour through the hotel and it was great fun. As a woman with long hair I also appreciated the top class hair dryer in the hotel room!

Pretty expensive hotel, but you do know what you’re getting yourself in for and the service is truly exceptional.

The food, facilities and the view were amazing but probably the service was beyond expectations. Every member of the staff was very friendly, professional, helpful and thoughtful. We celebrated my wife’s birthday there, and as a surprise they sent us a very nice cake to our room so that we could blow her candles and similar at the dinner in their restaurant that evening, without any of us telling or organizing anything. It was so thoughtful! We went there also with a 8 month old baby and they were so helpful and nice to us as a young family. Just can’t recommend it enough!! A must stay in Taormina!

An amazing location. Our junior suite had beautiful sea views and was one of the best places we’ve stayed. Loved the pool and beach. The staff were helpful and the food was fantastic.

Rooms are quite small and there was only room for one luggage rack which was challenging because we were coming from the USA for 10 days with 2 large suitcases

We had an amazing stay at Villa Sant’Andrea. The hotel is next to a cliff with sea views. The rooms are beautiful and luxurious, ours had a huge private terrace with views. Also the pool and beach were amazing. I can definitely recommend it!
