I attended a conference at a hotel that was part of the Marriott chain, making it thr preferred choice. However, that particular location did not include breakfast, which is a deal-breaker for me. When I saw the photosof this hotel and realized it had a full kitchen, complete with a dishwasher and stove, I was sold. I was able to enjoy brisket and reheat leftovers without any issues. I also tested a clear ice maker that required a freezer. Plus, I was able to send numerous packages from Amazon and other retailers without incurring any fees (since I’m not American I enjoy using Amazon, I've encountered hotels that charge for each package received). Additionally, the breakfast was amazing, and the staff was outstanding—10 out of 10. I highly recommend this hotel!

The breakfast was absolutely delicious every morning with different options available, of course always offering the fresh waffles, bagels, cereal, and yogurt among other things. There was obviously great care taken in the preparation and flavors, we were so pleasantly surprised at how good it was! Large area with tables to enjoy your breakfast. The Front Desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. There is a nice little market available with snacks and other small things for purchase. Also, free cookies! It is a very easy walk (be mindful it is up a hill on the way back as most places are in the area) to the Country Club Plaza and all it has to offer. We were able to easily find a parking spot on the street and there is a garage with parking as well. The bed was comfortable and there is a sitting area with a couch, a large sink area and tub/shower, and a good sized kitchen with a full refrigerator and a very well-functioning icemaker. It was nice to not have to go to the machine. I can see if someone needed to stay for a while, this would be a very pleasant option with everything you'd need. Also, a fireplace in the room was an unexpected perk!

-Unexpected payment for parking in the garage that didn't appear until I got my bill **the outside entrance isn't exactly what it seems**- I think this was a misunderstanding that my room would have an outside entrance (it's labeled like this in the listing), instead the set of rooms I was in had an outside door (not accessable from the main hotel) and then a stairway and hall area this making the room have an indoor entrance -very loud noise comes through the ceiling!

The staff were friendly and helpful, they gave me extra help on the area as it was my first time. I had a small issue with one of the bed sheets but it was sorted straight away. The hotel is clean, comfortable and in a great place to visit Country Club Plaza and Kansas City as a whole. There was a good choice at breakfast and plenty available. I'll definitely be looking at staying again if I'm in KC.

Everything was very conveniently located within the facility and also near the facility. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was by far my favorite!! It was so delicious and had so many options.

The elevator was broken during our stay so that was a little hard bringing all of our luggage up so many flights.

The location was good

The room was small. You if you were using the restroom and someone would of came in they would of got you with the door. The door is way way too close to the toilet. The pull out sofa bed was not comfortable. Their was no mention of paying to park. And also no mention of the construction that hindered parking.

The location it self but the parking was not I expected. too tight and the charge was outrageous.

my toilet was clogged and they didn't have a a room to put me in....i was giving a plunger and told i had to unstopped my self, that wasn't cool. and they didnt give us a discount for the inconvenience.

Staff was friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in. She upgraded my room because they had one available. The room was clean,comfortable and cozy. The fireplace was a nice touch.

Hot breakfast was a great bonus and there was plenty of options. Location was ideal for spending a weekend at the Plaza - only one block walk! Rooms were clean and comfortable - as advertised.

Had to pay $15/day for parking. Based on the location, there weren't a lot of options for free parking.

Room was clean and spacious, staff was friendly and helpful.

2 cars were stolen from the parking garage during my 2 day stay. Bed was too firm for me, but that's just personal preference.
