We booked an Executive Suite with Sea View and Balcony. It was a fabulous location. I had checked reviews from Booking.com and Tripadviser to work out what was a good location and room type in Burnie. This room was on the upper floor of a two storey hotel. It was overlooking the beach and had a roomy balcony for us to hang out in the sunshine. We were lucky to pick a lovely sunny day in Winter. If you are considering to book this hotel, I would advise to book this room type. Location is in CBD and also at the Beach. Our booking was on a Sunday and it was extremely quiet. Very cozy and good bed and furniture.
The bathroom could be renovated.

Excellent location directly opposite Burnie foreshore! Room clean and comfortable, a/c unit, couch and small table and chairs with mini bar and snack options available to purchase and tea/coffee facilities. Parking right outside room. Had a wonderful meal at the onsite restaurant Raindrops, also open for breakfast as well. Very convenient to beach and shops and as a base to explore the area. Got to view the little penguins returning at night from the boardwalk only a short walk away which was amazing! Had a fabulous stay will be back again!
Room we were in a little on the small side, ok for 1 -2 people but a family might find it a bit of a squeeze.

We received a balcony despite facing towards the shops, we could still go outside and enjoy the ocean breeze. Everything was comfortable the bed was surprisingly soft and top it all off the mini bar was cheaper that most hotels I go to. Would recommend coming here if you need a couple days for yourself or the family.
I think the only thing I didn't like, was the pressure of the shower. It was great for adults but it was a little difficult to try and wash our 5 month. But even then we still enjoyed it and will come back again.

Wow! Location is excellent as it is across the road from the beach, playground and a lovely ocean-view restaurant. The staff was absolutely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfy, and the shower had excellent pressure and hot water. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but it seemed fine and was almost full. There is even a washing machine (4$ per load) on site.
The rooms are a bit dated and there can be a bit of noise from the main road. However, that did not bother us, and the room was spotless clean! There is no swimming pool but the beach is right across the road so no worries!

I booked an executive room which had a balcony and view . It was on the second floor, there is a lift. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was great. The room had frig, tea and coffee etc. Room service breakfast was really good and reasonably priced. The restaurant was closed as it was Easter Day, however menu looked good for future bookings. My son lives in Burnie and we wanted to find a great place to stay and we have.
Room was small but quite adequate. Perhaps there could have been more chairs on the balcony.

The location to where we were having dinner was ideal
The curtains didn’t quite meet at the top, and hence there was light coming through to an otherwise dark room…bit annoying but we coped. The toilet was very very close to the shower screen, and as we are both larger adults (very broad shoulders - not obese), it was a tight fit to sit… but we managed. One of the lamps over the bed, did not turn completely off, so was on all night. The fridge “ran” all night …very noisy.

Location
A few maintenance issues ~ outside table and chairs rusty and broken, beside lamp blown, shower shooting water up to ceiling and over shower wall.

What an amazing hotel! Check in was quick and easy, and staff were friendly. The room was spacious, clean and comfy, and the bed was super comfy. The hotel was centrally located, and across the road from the water. We were able to walk to meet friends for dinner, which was nice after spending a few hours in the car earlier that day. Will definitely be back to stay in this hotel next time we are in Burnie.
Nothing - everything was fabulous.

Service was amazing with very accommodating staff. They allowed us to put our stuff in the room before check-in time. The room was spacious with great views. The elevator was quick and conveniently located. The shower was hot and decent pressure. Dinner was easy to access and the on-site restaurant was delicious. The location is great, very central to everything.
The decor is a little dated and the carpark can be tight if it's full.

It was a very short overnight stay in Burnie as we were in Tassie to see our son rowing at Lake Barrington. We were greeted by Lee who was very friendly. The motor inn was dated on the outside but our room was large and comfortable and we overlooked the beach! The price was very reasonable. We were able to walk to dinner and then along the boardwalk to see the little penguins going to their burrows. The whole visit was a delight.
