Beautiful view of the ocean. The staff were all so friendly and kind, welcoming and loving on our dog the entire stay! They kept the room clean and tidy, and were very respectful of our privacy. Even if we wanted to sleep in until 12pm they'd get the room cleaned later in the day when we were out. Carbon gives 5/5 stars, especially for the dog treats and all the extra pets and love!

Our check in was 2 hours late due to too many late check outs, after driving for many hours we wanted to get settled but had to wander around killing time until a bit after 6pm when our check in time was to be 4pm. The walls are VERY thin and we could hear literally everything going on in the hallway and the surrounding rooms so that got a bit awkward and annoying at times.

It was our first year anniversary trip. The breakfast was good. and had a large variety. Glad you can get a starbucks coffee in the lobby. We did not bring our dogs but I do like that they let dogs stay which makes it easier for those with pets to be able to travel. There were plenty of linens provided.

We did experience the horrible smell of marijuana coming thru our vents into our room on 2 occasions which we did not appreciate. I also was disappointed that I rented a king room and when I checked in I was told they did not have a king room available. I had wanted a king bed due to space and the fact that my husband has back issues.

The location, hotel was pet friendly but was very clean no pet odor. The staff was super friendly. Rooms are large. The hotel looks exactly like the pictures displayed. Breakfast is decent but nothing extra. We come every year for our anniversary and always have the best time. Despite the mishap with our car,we would return.

The mandatory valet parking. My car was damaged by the valet driver who hit a parking pole as we were preparing to check out.

Location to the beach and activities. Clean. Brakefast.

The room little smaller than what in the pictures especially we booked for 5 people. Also, parking should be free for the hotel gusts. We have been charged $9 daily.

Location and was clean. The furniture was decently comfortable. Nice balcony with a great view.

Valet parking only. No restaurant. The breakfast was not bad but not great either.

First time at Hyatt in V.A. From the lobby to my room on the 8th floor everything was comfy. The valet staff was attentive and awesome ( be sure to tip ). Complimentary breakfast was dope too (different line up each morning). You could just melt in the mattress of the King bed ( didn’t even kick my fiancé by accident, lol). Balcony and ocean view to die for! The thermostat for each room worked perfectly. Frig was nice and large, microwave I don’t know what to say…was microwaveable. My two 16yr old girls didn’t even complain ( they stayed wired to their cell phones even on the beach 😳😁😍

I couldn’t afford to stay longer….🥹

Everything was perfect. Had a relaxing vacation and I would definitely come back!

Not Having my car at my leisure

My room was spacious and very clean - it felt so nice to come back to it after a long day. The property has a very convenient location, right on the boardwalk and many restaurants are within walking distance. The breakfast in the mornings was a bonus - saved me time for the beach. My kids absolutely loved it. Everyone was so welcoming, kind and helpful. Lastly i appreciated that the hotel did NOT have a bar with load music on the 1st floor compared to some establishments on the boardwalk.

It was not a dislike just an observation - with valet parking which was very nice, it got a bit crowded here and there in the circle by the front entrance. However everyone was fast in getting my vehicle to me from the garage.

All room has microwave, it was so very convenient. Water shower run very strongly, I love it. Everything everywhere in hotel was so cleanliness and freshness. No flies at all. Love breakfast time. The food was variety every day and different. Taste was good.

The pool is small and simple and boring, no attraction activities no fun at all. The water in pool look so ugly when we came at first day. We traveled to Virginia Beach every single year and stayed at some property like Marriot…. We love Marriot hotel but have no microwave in the room. At Marriot we and my kids enjoined the pool so much time than the beach water. I hopefully the pool at your property will be recreated and remodeled for more attractive in near future.

I loved the location and the size of the king suite with its ocean view. Two rooms- one bedroom, one living room with a couch, table and chairs and a full size refrigerator, with counter space. We were visiting to take care of family business so it was the perfect set up for us while in town. Friendly staff, everyone was very accommodating and helpful from check in to bar area, valet and cleaning services.

I didn't love that the only parking available was valet. I was there to take care of a family member and had to get the car in and out several times each day. My husband was also taking care of a family member and had to do the same. It was freezing cold and the individuals getting the cars absolutely earned their tips, but it made the hotel not very cost friendly or even time friendly as even if they were moving quickly if there was a line of people/ cars you had to wait (for example if my leaving for the morning aligned with check out, or in the afternoon with check in).
