Felt like your own little apartment, although no where really for suitcases. It was only a two night stay but we were moving on to other locations so had to have suitcases with us.

The weather had been wet so when we walked across car park and into room despite hard carpet Infront entrance it caught us out with still having trainers on in room left marks on carpet which we felt obliged to clean up. Therefore all shoes were off before properly entering room.

Far exceeded our expectations, made to feel very welcome. Staff very helpful. Andy went the extra mile for us, as we were leaving very early. We were taken to our room and offered good advice on where to eat etc. Everything we needed within easy walking distance. Great experience. 7 minutes from the airport👏

Room one had poor sound insulation and was near the pub car park and the front door of the building, so we heard every car leave the car park and every guest arrive. I think this could be easily rectified with a replacement UPVC window that closes properly.

The staff were super helpful even letting me grab some breakfast early. Lovely atmosphere. Room was as pictured and Ponteland was a lovely surprise.

A small niggle was that the breakfast team hadn't been told so I had to surprise them at 0730. I wasn't expecting breakfast so this is really a minor point. They were brilliant I just felt bad putting them under pressure. No evening food but plenty of lovely eateries in the village

Very clean and a great location for what I needed. Great shower - water pressure and temperature. Bed very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good in room amenities- ironing board, kettle etc.

Nothing. Breakfast was very nice but limited to continental only so this might be an issue for some people and as this is a pub on weekends the carpark can get busy and so parking can be limited.

Upon arrival, we walked in and were greeted by a lovely young gentleman. He walked us to our room and welcomed us to the establishment. We enjoyed a fabulous night in the pub together, we were served promptly on visiting the bar, the toilets were a good standard and the choice of drinks was good. It was £27 for a bottle of wine & a bottle of brown ale, which is more than double what we'd pay in our local, but I suppose we were in Pont and the wine was alright. The bed was super comfortable and and the room a nice size. My partner thought it was too hot over night, I was personally freezing (we were both pretty merry when we got back to our room, so our body temperatures were definitely off but I'm always cold). The shower was nice, the water ran a steady temperature, and although not a power shower, it was definitely still enjoyable. We didn't stay for breakfast and instead visited a local cafe for an English breakfast which was absolutely lush. Checkout was a breeze and the follow up upon finding my ring in the room after we left was amazing. They told me I'd lost it before I'd even noticed.

We got dressed in our room before heading out and I personally found the lighting in the room inadequate for doing my make up but I managed non the less. Also would've liked a stool in front of the mirror that's similar to a dresser but again, I managed.

Was a pleasant suprise to find the rooms were in a separate building to the pub, which made for a quieter night, the rooms were well equipped, staff were really friendly, location wise was perfect for what I required, would definitely recommend and stay again

Was sceptical as the reviews for parking weren't great, however on arrival the two car parks at the rear of the property were fine and staff were helpful in directing where to get car booked in for a permit

The breakfast was excellent and your staff very obliging and friendly. Just a pity you don’t do food other than breakfast

The shower tray was VERY slippery and I slipped the first morning banging my toes against the edge of the tray. I then laid a hand towel in the bottom of the tray to prevent from slipping again. My daughter who was also staying in the hotel had to do the same thing so a bath mat would be a good addition. Also more toilet roll/s might be another good addition.

Was happy the accommodation wasn't actually in the (potentially noisy) pub itself but in a building across the road. We had a ground floor room by the road so there was some noise until the Saturday revellers had gone home after midnight, but otherwise we got a good night's sleep. Breakfast is Continental so don't expect a fry-up; we didn't mind this as we were going out for lunch later.

The bedroom was in a little annex next to the actual pub itself - the building was from 1822 so very picturesque and quaint, but had a few interesting ceiling angles [with me being tall]. The Bed was super comfortable and I get a great nights sleep. The pub seemed popular, and certainly had a good hub-bub of people enjoying the ales even on a mid-week evening.

The pub wasnt serving food, which would normally be an issue - however there were a number of decent restaurants in the area so I enjoyed dining at one of those.

Warm welcome by friendly staff. Room comfortable and adequate in size. Continental breakfast very good, especially given rates. Very good value overall.

Nothin really. N many hotel rooms unless newly redecorated/refurbished, it’s always possible to identify small imperfections but nothing worthy of mention or addressing. Unless paying 5 star prices.
