The room was very spacious with dark wood furniture and bed - a bit dated would be the ideal description of the whole hotel, rooms, furniture etc. But do not judge a book by its covers - the bed and the bathroom were very clean, including linen and towels. One of the receptionists was very friendly, smiling, and customer-oriented with good English. But do not expect others in the hotel to be that friendly, and communicable, as language is a barrier here (even for me using a translation app). I can recommend the hotel as very good value for money, and very clean, with an ideal location very central to major sights, and the train and bus stations.

Communication was not easy owing to language barrier, but we managed. Cleaners start the day very early leading to early wake up calls for room cleaning or general noise levels due to it. Plug points are hard to find leading to aphone charging way out in the room somewhere and not near your bed. No light switches near the bed.

Located on a quiet side street not far from the historic Hue citadel, this budget accommodation has large comfortable rooms and there are many restaurants, shops and cafes within easy walking distance. The ancient capital is 20+ minute walk along the picturesque Perfume river. Friendly staff that spoke good English for those that need it.

My room did not have a electric jug or tea or coffee (but I always bring my own anyway).

Comfortable bed, good water pressure and plenty of hot water, helpful and friendly staff. Good location for walking to the Imperial City as well as to the night life area with lots of great restaurants. They upgrade us to a larger room with balcony at no extra charge, which was very nice. Also, we arrived early in the morning but they gave us access to our room right away.

Our room had a shared balcony and was equipped with everything you could possibly need (AC, warm water, water kettle, etc.). The hotel is also located really close to the river and the beautiful Truong Tien Bridge. We went to the coffee shop near the riverside almost every day ^^

This hotel is in a great location. In the middle of town near all the major sites but in a quiet street away from traffic. There are cafes and restaurants all around and plenty of shops. Our room was large and comfortable. For the very reasonable price we were very impressed. We arrived early and were able to check in straight away which we really appreciated.

The shower gel in the bathroom was a "skin lightening" one which we didn't want to use.

A very spacious room, sparkling clean, with balcony. The hotel is in a small quiet road, a short walk to the old town. It is also next to a brand new exquisite café, the Hue Café. The staff was kind enough to arrange for an early check in, which was a treat since we were coming from a quite long trip in a sleeping bus. I definitely recommend Thai Binh hotel it if you plan to visit Hue!

An older looking hotel that has had some exterior refurbishment. Spacious but basic room with a shared balcony. We only stayed 1 night before heading down to Hoi An so we didn't see very much around this area, but there are 2 upmarket hotels nearby for wining and dining.

Good location near restaurants & within walking distance of the citadel. It's quiet & the room is big Receptionist is very helpful & speaks good English

The window panes are a little loose so they rattle in the wind, but it didn't keep me awake.

Lovely hotel which you can walk to many attractions. Room is spacious and very clean. Staff is really since and always smiling :) Bathroom also had an enclosed shower which we really appreciate. we stayed 2 nights.

We stayed here last year too and again this year. It is very calming and relaxing stay. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom is very spacious. The view of sunset from balcony was nice as could see the mountains in far away.
