We are on a 3 month travel trip and we can honestly say, in the last 2 months travelling, Senna was the cleanest and nicest place we’ve stayed. Huge room, clean, great pool, lovely staff, amazing breakfast. The main hotel photo with the pool on the advert does actually not do the hotel justice. The pool and hotel are much nicer in person!

This place is wonderful, however, there’s always room for improvement anywhere you stay ( wink ). If there was anything that could be improved, the swimming pool showers could do with some hooks for clothes and towels. Currently there are no hooks in the cubicle. Also, the doors to the balcony weren’t very sound proof so we could hear dogs, very loud crickets, horns and bells during the night.

Senna Hue hotel is only about 4 years old, is well situated in Hue City, has one of the best swimming pools i have used at a hotel and as mentioned, it has an amazing breakfast. You are able to walk to the Citadel from the hotel and you are also quite close to the river. The hotel is constructed around the courtyard and pool area and would recommend requesting a room facing the courtyard as they tend to be quiter. The rooms themselves are very well laid out with possibly the biggest shower recess/bathroom I have ever been treated to. The bed was nice and firm which provided the ability to have a good nights rest. The wifi download speed was 20.4 Mbps and upload of 24.1 Mbps which was fine for what I needed to complete online. The corridors within the hotel were beautiful and wide. I stayed in a premium double with pool view and as mentioned previously, the room was very spacious and also quiet. Overall, my stay was pretty special, but small things like the breakfast service not being ready on time and having to wait 1hr for ice is probably the only reasons I rated the hotel a 4 and not a 5. A special call out to Ms Trang Tan from reception who was very helpful and was also has a wealth of knowledge of the local area. All in all, it was a lovely stay, and wouldn't hesitate in recommending the hotel to stay in for your visit to Hue City

Lovely friendly staff. Very helpful when asked about day trip to tombs and citadel. We got a combo pass to make it easier. The hotel is situated right near the centre of shopping, eating and able to walk to almost anything. Breakfast was great! A large selection of food and drinks available.

Altho everything was faultless, the only comment I have would be that the bed was probably the hardest we have sleep in since coming here. So don’t expect a soft bed to fall into at the end of your day. But if you like a very firm bed, enjoy the stay.

Lovely oasis in the middle of the city. Rooms: They were clean and immaculate and very welcoming. The bathroom was clean and well appointed. It was quiet in the room although we are in a central location, huge plus. Aircon worked like a dream. Pool Areas: A lovely oasis for a hotel in the middle of town, felt very calm and relaxed, with attentive staff to look after you. Reception and Front of House staff: Very friendly and dealt with all our queries. Breakfast: Fantastic for western and eastern preferences, service lovely, felt very calm and relaxed atmosphere to eat in. The food and beverage service was very attentive. Location: Short stroll to walking street restaurants and bars, easy to get around town. Other: Management were swift to follow up on queries or worries, very impressed.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was excellent — just across the bridge from the Imperial City, which made sightseeing very convenient. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the welcome treats (cookies and chocolates) were a lovely touch. We appreciated having tea, coffee, and complimentary water available in the room. The complimentary beach tote was a pleasant surprise as well. The pool and garden were beautifully maintained, and breakfast was truly exceptional with a wide variety of fresh options. The staff were consistently helpful and pleasant throughout our stay.

For guests staying longer, a larger closet and additional shelving would be helpful for storing clothes and personal items. A drying rack on the balcony for swimwear would also be a practical addition. The poolside flooring gets extremely hot during the day — if there’s a way to address that, it would significantly improve guest comfort. Lastly, it would be great to have clear labeling at the breakfast buffet — for example, green icons for vegetarian items and signs indicating which dishes contain egg, as it’s a common allergen.

The hotel is in a great location in the centre of Hue. Staff were really friendly and helpful and it had lovely gardens with a big pool which was great for our kids to play in. Big comfortable beds and the rooms were huge. Breakfast had a good variety of options including western and Asian.

One small irritation that is becoming a common design feature in hotels. The bathroom is a glass box with frosted glass. This does mean that privacy is minimal and if someone turns on the bathroom light in the middle of the night it wakes up people who are sleeping, which isn’t ideal if you are sharing a room with light sleepers.

The hotel was unexpectedly beautiful! We didn't expect much thinking that it's a small town. Oh how wrong! It's a very nice hotel with good facilities. It has a very wide corridor, just like hotels in the olden days. The room was the biggest we've had in our trip in Vietnam. It's spacious yet cosy. Breakfast was also a serious flair with a great balance between Asian and western food. The location of the hotel was good, close to restaurants , the perfume river and the citadel. We really enjoyed our stay there. Would definitely go back there if we happens to visit Hue again.

Clean, spacious room and bathroom. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. Friendly and helpful staff.

We booked a room 'with a view' which was located at the other end of the hotel where it required us to exit the main building at one point to get to the other section of the hotel. A little far for my mother who had a knee injury to walk between her room and reception. However, I booked a room with 'no view' for myself and found that was more than enough, I still had a spacious balcony area, which was surrounded by an enclosed patterned wall.

Breakfast was great. I like both western & the Vietnamese cuisine. The location of the hotel was great. Almost everything in the city was accessible directly from the nearby streets. Services like the bank, dining out and main attractions were easy within easy reach of the hotel. I like the massage spa service on the 5th floor. Feels very good to return to the hotel after day sightseeing, then come back to relax with a massage. The staff at reception were excellent, and help us with any enquiries about the city of Hue, and nearby sightseeing.

We were in a room at the very end and it took a bit of a walk to get to the lifts.

Spacious suite, excellent staff, and breakfast was delicious. The two drivers arranged by the hotel for our private day tour and the shared van to Hoi A were both excellent. Hotel is also walking distance to the nearby Pearl River where you can get a boat tour which we missed. Hue is a worthy destination to visit the majestic imperial palace and the Museum of Royal Antiquities.

We stayed over the weekend, so our room which faced the school across the street was fairly quiet. But it was more noisy on Monday morning before we left.
