The room, the staff, and the overall experience were excellent. I truly appreciate the service I got. I was not aware of the major construction work being done in the front garden, which meant the entry was not as elegant as it soon will be. However, the hospitality of the hosts, their helpfulness with finding interesting touristic sites and good restaurants, more than made up for the inconvenience. Also, the hotel was very quiet at night despite being within a block of the exciting nightlife of Hue.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was pleasant and comfortable. I also liked the fact they were doing their best to be environmentally friendly, eg glass water bottles in the room with refill posts around the hotel. My partner was in a wheelchair, and they made every effort to check he could get around the hotel safely. The fruit in the room on arrival was a lovely surprise. I was also surprised to read it functions as a training centre for hospitality staff. And obviously doing a very good job!

My only quibble was that the lunch/dinner menu had absolutely nothing for vegetarians.

The pillows were nice and soft but the bed was a bit hard. The rooms are large, bright and clean. We particularly liked the breakfast. The location is good with a few good Vietnamese restaurants nearby. The pedestrian street night market is nearby but only on weekends.

Nice balcony for chilling out however it was looking into a construction site. Luckily it is almost complete and there was no activity on the days we were there.

The property was beautifully appointed. Such large comfortable rooms. The decor was reminiscent of the Imperial Palace. Staff were lovely and helpful. Excellent service especially when I left something behind. It was delivered to my villa in Hoi An the next day. A good breakfast with both western and Asian choices. The hotel is in walking distance of great restaurants and cafes… also a 10 min walk to the perfume river. The Citadel is about 2 k’s away. Would highly recommend to treat yourself with a stay at Villa Hue.I would definitely stay again if I get the chance😊

Lovely staff - especially at reception and breakfast service. Great room - huge, with quality furniture, extra large bed and TV etc. Our suite had two big balconies, separate lounge, bathroom with bath and walk in shower and two sinks - plus an extra WC. Great breakfast - buffet with made to order egg dishes as well as various hot Vietnamese options, fresh tropical fruit, pastries, homemade yoghurt etc etc. Nice pool and sunbed area too.

Nothing !!! I don't normally post reviews, but felt that Villa Hue deserved recognition as one of the best hotels we've stayed in during our 20+ years of travel.

Rooms are large and comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Beds are very comfy, and the bathroom was large with a good shower. The hotel is located very close to the walking streets and plenty of cafes, restaurants etc, but still very quiet in the hotel. We drove here by motorbike, and there is secure paking on site. Very happy with our stay here, and would stay again when in Hue.

Quieter hotel set a little back from main roads. Old-fashioned in style with big rooms and character. Staff were very helpful. The hotel offered a cooking class which wasn't available when we wanted it, so they were able to organise us an alternative. We were able to walk to the Imperial City easily. The pool looked nice but the weather was cold ... Breakfast was wonderful. Excellent value and everyone (6 of us) enjoyed the fresh fruit and other options.

One room (with a double) had a rock-hard bed ? The suggestion from the rest of the family was that someone had put the mattress upside-down ? Wifi, in one of the rooms was also very poor - you had to stand in a particular place to get it.

Staff were very helpful when we had some difficulties. Very friendly, approachable and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3day stay and highly recommend Villa Hue as a place to stay. Very close to the city centre so easy to get around

Highly recommended! Huge and spotlessly clean rooms, quiet air-conditioning, nice pool and free drinking water. Hotel in walking distance to the entertainment area. Great praise for the friendly and helpful staff - the ladies at the reception helped me retrieve my credit card which got sucked into a broken ATM. They called hotlines and the local bank for me so I could get my card back - thanks again

Noise from surrounding karaoke bars - but that is not the fault of the Hotel!
