The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance to amenities, the Imperial Palace, and the night time city (eateries, pubs, shopping) Evenings and nighttime were quiet. The room I had was impeccably spotless with daily fresh linens. The room was tastefully decorated. The wood floors and furnishings added a sense of warmth. In the mornings I would gaze out the window at the amazing view of the Perfume river. I felt very comfortable staying here I booked an extra day just to relax Best of all, the shower was strong with sufficient hot water Breakfast was delicious and the buffet offered a selection of fresh fruits, western and Vietnamese dishes Thank you to Thu Hang, Vinh Hung, and Van Duc (especially for helping with my last minute train ticket to Da Nang), and the rest of the staff for an excellent stay

I booked a corner river view room and there are large windows on two walls. You can see both the city and part of the river. Very quiet! Walking distance to many sightseeing spots. Included breakfast featured many Hue specialties. I was surprised with the high quality of the regional dishes. Everything else was inoffensive. Doorman Van Duc was very friendly and always had great suggestions for our sightseeing. Beds were comfortable. Good hot water. Shower pressure great. Good communication with staff before I arrived to the hotel through Booking.com. If price is right I will stay at this hotel again.

A/C was okay - a little noisy but nothing disturbing. Hue is very hot so we appreciated the A/C working well. However I think updating the HVAC system would be the only thing I suggest to this hotel. Coffee at the breakfast is rather poor.

Great location, close to river for strolling along early morning or in the evening. Friendly staff and great cafe / bar on ground floor. Not our usual style of hotel, very big, whereas we usually stay in apartments or smaller boutique or 3/4 star hotels. Came highly recommended especially because of lovely concierge who was very helpful & friendly. Good position for visiting riverside & citadel. Good choices for breakfast.

Didn’t like the pool area, unfortunately water looked a little cloudy so didn’t swim or use pool - which was a shame. May have been because lots of families/ children using the pool? Had the “special “ dinner on top floor restaurant the night we arrived- was underwhelming.

Omg where to start. This hotel is amazing. Staff were so wonderful, in particular Van Duc at the bell service and information. He went above and beyond every day. Helping me with places to eat and see to laundry, ordering me a driver and arrange even for a Dr to come to hotel to see my sick husband. He was absolutely amazing. Customer service outstanding for him and all the staff. The room was so lovely. Bed super comfy. Bathroom great. Rooftop bar is huge and good. Nice and relaxing for a quiet drink and eats. Food was so good and large portions. Delicious pizzas. Buffet breaky had everything. Super happy with hotel, cost and location. Will definitely come back.

This place exceeded expectations. It's very opulent; from its grand entrance to the rooftop terraces that include a temple. Service is exceptional, especially the friendly face and greetings from the concierge, Van Duc. Our room was on the 12th floor, so we had no road noise, we had a lovely view from 2 big windows. The room was large and had all the facilities as described. The only negative comment would be that our AC was not very cool at all. This wasn't too much of an issue for our stay. The pool is beautiful but the gym is very poor. Breakfast is outstanding, and I had the best Pho here. This hotel is only 5 minutes from the train station with Grab and 20 minutes walk from the imperial city. We ate nearby each evening without any problems, and there are lovely bars nearby, too. Also, Atms and mini markets if needed. This hotel has to be no1 in Hue; just beautiful and very cheap too

Location is perfect for exploring the city of Hue as well as the Citadel, a World Heritage Site, and the royal tombs on the outskirts--although it is essential to have a car to get there, due to their isolation. The hotel offers all the expected amenities, and the concierge, Van Duc, was efficient in organising transport etc. and helping with any enquiries we had. He is one of the few people who speak good English in the hotel. Room had all the expected amenities.

We have been to Vietnam many times and are very used to non English-speaking locals, however, there is quite a shortage of competent English speakers in the hotel, making communications quite frustrating at times. Breakfast needs to be better organised, and items replenished promptly, especially given that it is a large and busy hotel.

Extremely luxurious, for a very reasonable price. The staff are exceptionally helpful (especially Van Duc - who really looked after us and was very generous). Rooms are supremely comfortable, bathrooms great. Has additional amenities like pool, spa, gym - which we were allowed to use even after checking out. Our room also had an incredible view of Hue. The shape of the hotel means many rooms have full glass on 2 sides. In a perfect location to easily walk to the imperial city/citadel, as well as the food options on the new town side of the river. In general - just a perfect stay!

Cocktails from the bar weren’t particularly good, but the views made up for it - and it’s really just a very minor point.

The traditional architecture was amazing the entranceway was amazing the view from from our room was wonderful. We had a wall-to-wall window from the 15th floor looking at over the whole city and river

The front staff were a bit finicky and pennypinching on small items like extra teabags etc . The. Bellboy Vandyk intervened and sorted things out for us at no cost. He was amazing and so helpful and booked us and booked us on trips and sent us in the right direction for anything we need. He made us stay a memorable experience

We found the staff at the front desk incredibly helpful and friendly and had a lovely experience. We went for a massage in the spa which was fantastic and I would recommend! Good location to get to the imperial city and also to restaurants.

The room was big but not particularly comfortable or clean and it was quite loud - lots of hallway noise. We found breakfast a little disappointing (lots of other reviews saying how amazing it was) and the staff there not as helpful as the staff in reception. Overall we had a pleasant stay, but some bits of the hotel feel quite tired.

Mr. Van Duc provided exceptional service and truly enhanced our stay. He was incredibly kind and helpful, arranging transport to our next city, recommending a great restaurant, and even storing our bags during the day. The hotel's decor is clean, modern, and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Our room on the 16th floor offered a breathtaking view of the Perfume River, which was an unforgettable highlight. The staff consistently went above and beyond to meet our needs, with Mr. Van Duc checking in to ensure we had the best experience possible. This property is not only economical but also a testament to professionalism and care. I highly recommend staying here!
