Room was spacious with 3 windows looking over a canal, with air con, hair dryer, WiFi, comfortable bed in a traditional style. Staff was friendly, warm, we got everything explained at the arrival. Location is in a quiter area, but only few steps away from a very lively Via Garibaldi street with Coop convenience store and plenty of bars and restaurants. Hotel is also only few minutes away from the nearest vaporetto/actv/waterbus.

There is nothing I didn't like about this hotel. If you are not very demanding, this place is decent and cosy enough.

I love this hotel. It was in a very quite location away from the madness and crowded Venice streets, but close enough to walk a relatively short distance for the experience. Cafes amd restaurants near by as well as grocery stores. It is an old building and personally I loved its charm. I spend a considerable amount of time in new, modern and more expensive hotels and I am bored to tears with them. This hotel has character and I sometimes felt like I was stepping into an old classic movie. The courtyard was so relaxing, especially when the sun was shining. A great place to sit out and read a book in silence. Valter was a really nice guy. A very genuine and welcoming personality. It was a very warm inyeraction from start to finish, not like the typical scripted and fake interaction you often get in a 5 star hotel. Thank you for our conversations. friendly people who work there. it was not over-renovated. I loved the old tiles on the floor, the colour on the wooden door. The charme of the 6oties.

Nice location.The canals were there seen from hotel window, and there was a great restaurant street leading to the place. Nice staff. Lovely garden outside my window. Clean and minimalistic room like in a convinct and I slept well which is not common for me while travelling.

Never again will I have a shared bathroom. This is the only reason why my review isn´t a 10. Im done! How hard can it be to NOT behave like an animal and cleaning after yourself in the toilet. I don´t what to see or smell your bad digestion. Gross! Discusting!

The hotel has total nonna vibes — very clean but also very outdated furnishings in a charming way. It felt safe and comfortable for a solo traveller. There is a beautiful terrasse and it is in a lovely not-so-touristy neighbourhood close to the biennale.

It is quite expensive for what it is, but I suppose that’s just Venice. For a single bed room with a shared bathroom, it was very pricey. The room, while clean, was more utilitarian than comfortable. It was very bare bones and the bed is more a small cot. This level of comfort doesn’t bother me as I don’t need anything luxurious, but the price should be much lower for that sort of thing. Also, I couldn’t find a way to avoid having the daily cleaning service. There is nothing to put on the door to indicate you don’t want it cleaned and when I went to reception to request this the receptionist wasn’t there. So for those of you who prefer the privacy of no room cleanings, make sure to let them know at check in..

The location was amazing for the purpose of my visit to Venice. I visited specifically for the Biennale Arte, and the hotel is right in between the Giardini & Arsenale - perfect spot! I also want to highlight the staff, who were really amazing. I realised after washing my hair the first morning, that I forgot to bring a hairbrush.. and my hair will look like straw if I can't brush it! With the use of Google translate I was able to explain my issue, and the lovely housekeeper rummaged through her bag to find a brush for me to use until I could go buy my own. Lifesaver!

The location was great, we liked that it was quiet and a good distance from the busy touristy areas (with lots of restaurants and cafes still nearby). The place has character, but everything was very clean and our room was really cute with big windows that opened onto a courtyard (that all guests have access to). Staff were great, very nice and the check-in/check-out was smooth and easy.

The walls are thin, so it can be a bit loud at night - depending on neighbouring guests.

The hotel was very centrally located. Cleaning provided daily. The staff was exceptionally helpful and kind. It’s situated in a friendly, pleasant neighbourhood. It has a lovely garden and a terrace. In the future, this place will be my first choice. Thank you 😊

The isolation of the building isnt strong. The walls are extremely thin so there is noise flowing through the corridors. However, since it is a very old building it is only natural to have this as a minor issue.

The place is very quiet and pleasant, I travelled alone and I think this is perfect place to stay. The personal is very friendly, helpful and responsive, they provide all the information. The room is clean and modest, matches the photos. The location is good, close to restaurants and main Venice's attractions. I liked there were towels, sink and soap in the room. The hotel has its own closed cozy courtyard where you can sit and relax. Thank you! I really enjoyed my visit.

One day Wi-Fi didn't work for some reason

Great location for the Biennale and restaurants in Castello, and close to St Mark's Sq. Accommodation is more hostel-like than hotel-like, but authentic old Venice, comfortable and very clean. Staff are lovely and so helpful. We forgot our plug adaptor and the hotelier kindly lent us one for our whole trip. Also, they accommodated our late flight by minding our bags in left luggage all day.

Provision of expected hotel items like shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, and bigger towels. The facilities were spare, but adequate.
