I chose Little Foxes for its convenient location near the airport, as I had a layover and an early morning connecting flight. They offer a roundtrip shuttle service for £20, but I decided to turn my arrival into a bit of an adventure—taking Bus 200 for 13 stops to “Climping Road,” followed by a 35-minute walk to the hotel. At 4 AM, the pre-booked “Metorcar” service arrived right on time. The driver was incredibly kind, and I was off to the airport with ease. From the moment I arrived, Salim and the rest of the staff were warm, polite, and extremely helpful. My room was cozy, featuring a skylight that brought in a gentle breeze and a comfortable bed. The decor reminded me of my mother’s home, instantly making me feel at ease. The private bathroom was newly renovated and impressively clean. The Wi-Fi connection was strong, and the on-site restaurant was a lovely bonus—I enjoyed a delicious dinner outdoors before turning in for a restful night. Little Foxes was the perfect place to unwind during a layover, recharge, and get ready to travel again.

I've stayed here 5 times for a week between February and April 2025 and seen different rooms. The staff are friendly, the venue is easy to find with enough parking every day, it's quiet and has a small area with some benches that can be accessed from the rear cafe door. On this occasion, I was in a double room downstairs which was very spacious and up the same quality as other rooms. This is not an independent venue that's not cookie-cutter, so each room is unique and has its own quirks with showers (all hot with good pressure). All in all, Little Foxes perfectly met my needs and I have no complaints. In fact, I'll slightly miss this place as I move to another location.

I found it challenging to find the ideal temperature with the shower and there were ants on the bathroom floor (room 9?). Not many, but a few.

The staff were exceptional when I walked in the man behind reception notified I am disabled and changed our room to a downstairs room so I didn't have to walk upstairs this room also had a wet room that was very much appreciated the room was tidy and clean and had a kettle with tea coffee sugar and milk wich we could get more if needed the back garden was very nice to sit in one sunny day the food in the restaurant was very nice and well prepared we will definitely go back again and recommend to friends their was ample parking in the car parks

A few fixtures and fittings need to be tightened up could do with a water jug to fill the kettle as it wouldn't fit under the tap

Lovely grounds, pretty building, lovely clean comfortable room. Very helpful staff, called us to let us know room was ready for our booked early check in, Unfortunately our train broke down so we didn't arrive early. The gentleman that checked us in kindly did not charge us for the early check in. After a terrible journey it was great to have such a friendly kind, helpful greeting. Thank you

Nothing to dislike but would be handy to have a vending machine or somewhere to purchase water/drinks/snacks out of restaurant hours. Especially as there is no where else within walking distance.

Location convenient for Gatwick airport. Only spent one night here. Comfortable beds, clean and everything working and in good condition. Could hear the airplanes, but that is to be expected when you are so close to Gatwick, which is why we chose this hotel. The planes do stop flying for a number of hours during the night. Convenient to eat in the restaurant, but limited menu if you don't like spicy indian food. Free parking on site at the hotel. Apart from the planes overhead, the location was quiet and easy to find. Bus shuttle to the airport can be arranged, as we saw a number of people picked up the next morning.

Asked for tap water when we ordered our dinner, but were offered chilled bottled water which we declined as there is a charge on them. Found the accent of the staff sometimes made it difficult to understand them.

The staff were lovely, our room was very good size with plenty of space for our luggage, very quiet location. Our beds were very comfy and I'd recommend booking the parking for your trip abroad, very good value. Staff were ready and waiting with my car and keys as soon as we arrived back from the airport which was pretty early. The restaurant food was great too, would recommend.

Our room was hard to heat, and took a good few hours for the additional heater in the room to make a difference.

Reception was very friendly and helpful with information about getting into the city

While we were close to the airport, as we wanted, it ended up being quite expensive to get there as we had to Uber/taxi there. Then to get to the city we had to get a taxi to the train station then those expenses to get back again. We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay but the added cost of transit back and forth made it expensive

I left early no breakfast

The hotel is good for the price, I was not impressed with the handling of the evacuation for a fire alarm at 10.30pm (false alarm) There were some people who did not go to the meeting point. A man and a baby stayed in the reception. Another stayed in the bar. They were not made to leave .. The staff were running around and seemed not to know what was going on. For several minutes. The only communication with customers was . “You can go back in” I didn’t sleep well after this experience. Clearly fire training needs to be implemented.

Very friendly staff, escorted to the room and offered help with bags, explained how the Hotel worked regarding food and parking and also extra's like T-Bags, milk, water etc.. Food was excellent and service was very good too, food was explained thoroughly and if something on the menu wasn't on one Night they offered to cook it fresh the next. Overall a basic Hotel which was all I needed but staff made it a much better experience. Parking was easy and there was plenty of parking for everyone.

Potholes on the drive to the Hotel and there are some big ones !! No Breakfast, not an issue so much for me but may be to others looking at this Hotel. No Alcohol, again not an issue for me and shops nearby do sell it (this is more of a warning to others who may be expecting a bar there) WIFI is shocking and constantly dropped out.

I've stayed here 3 times for a week and always had an extremely positive experience with everything: staff, location, facilities, parking, noise. Absolutely no issues across any of the 3 rooms, except for working out the shower, which I understood after speaking to staff. I've already booked in for future dates, as prices can change depending on demand and time of year, as with many hotels.
