Beautifully decorated hotel with lovely outdoor space with pool. Exceptional breakfast and the honesty bar is a very nice touch. Great location, with just a short walk to the beach and restaurants.

Would have liked somewhere to keep suitcase, a stand would have been useful. Tricky to stop water from wet shower door dripping onto rest of floor when exciting the shower.

The property was the best hotel I’ve stayed in, in Porto and I’ve been coming for 35 years. It is perfectly located for the beach in wonderful Foz, and has a wonderful, spotless pool with the most sumptuous sun loungers. The beds in the room are luxurious with great pillows, aircon and blackout. Quiet and calm, it’s an absolute idyll. The jewell in the crown though is Alberto Divan, the manager. This is a man who fully understands what great hospitality is. He was flexible with our check-in and check-out, kind and solicitous throughout, ensured we were perfectly comfortable and was very kind to my 17 year old daughter, packing her a little breakfast in a picnic hamper because she’d been up in the night and missed breakfast! The rest of the team are equally brilliant. I’ve never written a review like this but mean every word! We’ll be back for sure. ❤️

Casa da Marecal is a beautiful boutique hotel in Porto, located in a peaceful area where you can truly relax. The rooms are stylishly decorated and offer all the comfort you need. The swimming pool is a wonderful place to unwind after a day in the city. Although the hotel is a bit further from the city center, it is easily and quickly accessible by Uber. The breakfast is extensive and very tasty, with fresh products and something for everyone. A special compliment to Alberto at the reception, who was always ready to help and even arranged special lactose-free products for me due to my intolerance. His personal attention made our stay extra special. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to discover Porto in comfort and tranquility!

We loved the tranquility of this beautiful hotel & found it very peaceful & welcoming after exploring the city.All of the staff were very friendly & helpful & nothing was to much trouble for them🥰Our breakfast each day was amazing, a wide choice of hot & cold food, all very fresh & cooked to order.Also a really nice touch was having a well stocked complimentary mini bar replenished daily😊 we would love to return here again 😁

Casa da Marechal was the perfect boutique hotel for our stay in Porto! If you prefer a quiet neighborhood close to the beach to a crowded city center, this is the hotel for you. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, including giving us a breakfast basket the night before we had an early morning planned. The house is beautifully renovated and decorated, and our room was perfectly clean and quiet. It's only a short walk down to the beach and there are multiple good restaurants nearby. It is a 15 minute Uber ride into the city center, which was very doable for us.

The paid breakfast was largely pastries and breads, with some meat and cheese. If you wanted anything more substantial like eggs, you had to pay an additional price.

Beautiful boutique hotel with excellent facilities. The rooms were bright and airy, tastefully decorated and included all mod cons. We especially loved the hidden shower in our room! The outside pool area was both peaceful and relaxing to spend time after a day of sightseeing. Plenty of nearby restaurants to choose from and an Uber into the old town is both convenient and cheap. The staff were all attentive and friendly and always happy to help. We enjoyed the lovely presented continental breakfast and the coffee was delicious. We had a fantastic time in Porto and hope to return one day to this beautiful serene hotel.

This place is totally amazing. It made our trip so special and I will definitely return! The building has such a charming character and the decor is beautiful. Fantastic location in that it’s so close to the beach but set back on a quiet back street. The staff were really friendly and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. The facilities were excellent and always immaculately clean. The bed was really comfortable and we enjoyed the delicious fresh breakfast. Lovely thoughtful touches throughout the hotel. This place is a peaceful little haven. Whole heartedly recommend!

The location was great; it was in a relatively quiet area of Porto near the beach, and it made for a nice sanctuary after a day of exploring the sites in downtown Porto. Our room (Junior Suite) was spacious and tastefully decorated, including a little writing nook that I made sure to take advantage of. The king-size bed was extremely comfortable, and the hotel was quiet and peaceful. The staff is exceptionally professional and helpful; Iryna took special care to accommodate our dietary restrictions with a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast each morning that was an unexpected delight; and Daniela was very helpful with restaurant suggestions, including finding us a reservation at a nice restaurant on one of the busiest nights of the year in Porto (Festa de São João). The gym was clean and functional to start our days with a little workout while on vacation, and the sauna was great for a bit of relaxation & cleansing.

Wonderful stay ! So glad that we have chosen this hotel . Perfect location close to the ocean where you can walk admire the sunset. Very nice restaurants around . The bus is 2 min away and it’s such a pleasure to go to the center along the ocean line . We arrived at 12 instead of 3 p.m and they made chicken in straight away and told us all the useful information. There is spa, swimming pool . But what impressed me the most that everything, every detail is done either great taste and everything is super clean !!!! The stuff is attentive and professional. Thank you . We will definitely come back!

Everything! I wanted to relax and chill so this small, intimate, boutique hotel, a short walk from the beach was perfect! The interiors (every single detail) were beautiful, even the reading books in the room. Breakfast was amazing and the hotel had everything I wanted for my stay; pool and decking area to have drinks outdoors, gym, sauna and steam, massage services, beautifully decorated rooms with every small detail so well thought out and then there’s the service. Exquisite and beyond helpful. My massage was one of the best I’ve ever had. Honestly can’t rave about this hotel enough - I already want to come back!

I absolutely loved my stay - it honestly couldn’t have been better. If I had to be really picky perhaps a little more protein available at breakfast and fruit without added orange juice - but that’s just a very personal preference for me. It would be nice to have a changing area to freshen up after check-out if you have a late night flight but again, this is a very specific minor detail.
