Room was large and very nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable and the sea view and balcony were great. The pub was friendly and the singer on the Friday night was excellent. As users of public transport, it was helpful that the pub was on the bus route.

Although the room was very attractively furnished, a few small changes could improve it as a place to stay. For instance there were no hooks or any shelves in the small shower room which meant nowhere to hang towels or clothes while in the shower and no where to put any toiletries ( not even a soap tray in the shower).very odd to have to put everything on the floor.

The Nags Head is a great pub and an excellent place to stay in Lyme Regis. My room was spotlessly clean, cosy with great facilities and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pub itself has a wide selection of ales and beers, friendly locals and a lovely garden with views towards the sea. It's also in a great location with just a 5 minute walk to the town centre and sea front where there are plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

We stayed in the Green room - huge room, comfortable bed, lovely clean and modern shower room. It was definitely worth the slightly higher rate to have the terrace and sea view - we had a stunning sunrise in the morning. Excellent selection of tea/coffee/hot chocolate, and biscuits, in the room. We had been informed about the music in the bar on Fridays and Saturdays from the moment of booking, so were prepared for the noise. But it finished exactly at 11.15pm, as per the hotel info, and, to be honest, it was quite entertaining listening to the karaoke!

Second time staying here and good value for the area. Rooms are very clean, if a little snug, but that's okay. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

If you are very sensitive to noise maybe check when the entertainment is on /room location. It didn't bother us but some people might prefer a very quiet location. It is at the top of the hill so if you have mobility issues it would not be suitable but otherwise, good exercise!

Manager / staff were warm & welcoming, rooms were very nice with beautiful views My mother stayed in the room with a church view & she commented that was the most perfect room to stay in & included everything she needed My wife & I stayed in the balcony room & again , quality room with fantastic views If you are staying on a Saturday night , keep in mind the live music ends at midnight - we knew this & expected it so no complaints

We were lucky with parking opposite the pub as we checked in around 6 pm so no parking fee , but potentially a long uphill walk from car park with luggage

Everything was so good! All carpets etc seemed almost brand new! Gorgeous sea view from window. Lady who greeted me was lovely & helpful. Fan was provided in room which was very welcome!

It’s at the top of a big hill (but I knew that & it actually wasn’t that bad at all to walk up!) & 2 small flights of stairs in pub (which again were fine - also with lovely carpet!). Some wouldn’t think/want to stay above a pub but the live music (that we were made well aware of beforehand) stopped promptly as promised and all noise shortly afterwards.

We stopped in Lyme Regis as a stopover on the way to Cornwall. When we arrived outside the pub we were a bit worried as had to get through the smokers standing in the door (it was raining). The room however was lovely, with stunning views but unfortunately it was raining. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and room were very clean. Tea & coffee provided. Breakfast was not included and we did not eat or drink in the pub. We had two meals - 0ne at the Oyster & Fish House which was quite pricey but we had a whole sole to share and it was delicious, as was the rest of the meal. Lunchtime the following day we went into Lyme Regis and visited Millside which is by the brewery and had an excellent lunch which was very good value.

Nice big veranda and room was clean.

Shower didn't have any power. Toilet seat needs changing as very stained. Barmaid locking up on the Friday night until gone 12 midnight. Making a hell of a racket, opening and shutting doors, to the point that I got out of bed and asked what was going on. She replied, all is okay I'm just locking up for the night, it was like a jailer locking up prison doors. Surprised that nobody made our bed or topped up the tea and milk after the first night or changed any dirty towels.

The room was a very good size, with tea and coffee making facilities. The location was quiet (even though above a pub) Staff were super friendly.

There was nothing wrong with the room or our stay and this 'dislike' is a personal preference only... The only windows were one small window at feet/ankle level and the other was a sky light which I personally was not keen on. (my preference) However, there was a sea view but we just couldn't see it unless we stood on the lower window sill to look out of the sky light.

We had the double room with the balcony which was superb. The views from the balcony were the best in Lyme absolutely fab!!! The room itself was very clean and big. The staff seemed all very friendly. The location great just a walk down the little hill to town. On a Friday and Saturday you will hear all the music so be aware the room is right over the bar however we loved it and to be honest the management were great in making people leave after the event so was quiet after 11.30 ish.. Highly recommend this pub will most definetly return

I should of brought my own pillow that's all!!! A lovely weekend.
