Good position, good breakfast, friendly helpful staff. Good sized rooms and bathrooms.

The hotels policy for children (12)varied from booking.com (17). Caused a few issues checking in and for breakfast although it was quickly resolved at no extra cost. The duvet covers were also inside out and a contact lens found on the floor of the bathroom so not swept previously but room and bathroom still looked clean.

👎🏻 - when we arrived, we got told that the hotel is overbooked and there would be no room available for us. it was a shame because I paid in advance, even if you don't have to, to prevent that from happening. 👍🏻 - the person at the reception handled the situation well. he called us a taxi which the hotel paid for, and got a room at another hotel from this chain (st. olavs plass). we didn't book breakfast but they added it for us for free as a reimbursement. - the breakfast buffet had a big variety with enough food for everyone. it had the right temperature for each dish and tasted very good. - the room was very clean and comfortable, I felt safe in it. - the bathroom was nice, had towels as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body soap, and didn't feel cold after coming out of the shower. overall a very good experience that I'd recommend :)

The location to the city centre and the harbour was splendid. The breakfast was really really good and the possibility to take a lunch box was a very good and welcome possibility. Clean rooms with all facilities available.

The power cord of the water cooker was a bit too short; sockets close to the ground and the table/desk with a normal height. We had to be a bit inventive. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain. We saw umbrellas of other hotels in the city centre but the hotel had no spare umbrellas available. Very narrow and pricey underground parking lot.

Good breakfast and excellent location. The room was a good size, and the bed was comfortable.

It was very noisy at night. Church bells go off every 15 minutes between 7am and midnight. I could hear a lot of noise from people on the street each night. There didn't appear to be much soundproofing as I could hear someone coughing through the wall in the next room. The water pressure was non-existant one day, I reported this to staff who advised that this happens sometimes and there was nothing they could do.

An excellent breakfast, good ingredients well prepared; the staff kept up with the high demand, refreshing the buffet well. The excellent location.

The breakfast at weekends did not start until 08:00 - way too late. There were issues with the lift call buttons. The towels provided were not very good; the lighting in the room was rather dull. The reception area was in need of refurbishment.

Room was very clean and tidy, the same with all facilities. Breakfast was exceptional, everything was exceptionally fresh daily including fresh baked loaves of bread.

Thermostat in the room did not work. Room was at 23/24 degrees throughout the stay without the ability to adjust. Spent very little time in the room with exception of sleeping so wasn’t the end of the world but did make sleeping fairly uncomfortable

Great location, 5 mins walk from ferry port and restaurants and 10 mins to train station. The staff were lovely and helpful and the room was a really decent size and quiet. Breakfast was amazing, I am gluten free so this is always a worry but the hotel had a separate station with bread, granola, oats, cereal and crackers and all the other food had allergens labelled. Also had yogurt, fruit, cooked breakfast, cold meats and cheeses, bread, crackers etc.

There was no bath mat in the bathroom which meant the floor got wet, the hairdryer was pretty bad and they had no separate gluten free toaster so could only have bread. Also you only get 1 pillow, there was a spare one but not a spare two so my partner had to use one (could ask reception though I'm sure).

The hotel offered a fantastic location near Johan Gate in Oslo, with a delicious complimentary breakfast, an excellent menu selection catering to various tastes, modern and comfortable rooms, and friendly, attentive staff who made the stay even more enjoyable.

Hotel was spotlessly clean and breakfast choice was excellent. Hotel location was in the centre of the city with most of the major attractions within a mile's walk.

Nothing really. It would have been nice to have a news channel in English on the TV but this is just a very minor point.

Very helpful front-desk team prepared to go "off-script" if asked. Great breakfast. Great location. Could walk just about anywhere central in any direction.

You need a better selection of Kids tv channels. Room was facing the street so there was a lot of noise through the night. But I guess that goes with the territory of a central location.
