Location is very convenient , and in a busy week where all hotels were charging 400-500 Euros per night, MediInn provided good value at a price roughly half that. Still expensive compared to Europe generally but a solid value offer compared to other hotels (Radisson, Scandic etc). Front desk reception team was helpful, elegant and kind with smiles for clients. Bathroom was a reasonable size, internet worked well for a teleconference meeting I had in the morning .

I had a late night so wandered down to breakfast just before 9.00am as staff began clearing away. Perhaps its a nordic thing but extending the breakfast to at least 9.30am during the week would be nice. There were still at least 10 people finishing breakfast at 9.00a,

Can check in an hour or two earlier, just need to remind yourself. 9 floors, but with one lift. The facade is very modest. The location is excellent. Walking distance to the Town Hall, National Museum which is a must see. Close to the Coop supermarket. A funny story happened to us. We were put in a room where the window was not closed at all. The master came, poked with a screwdriver, did nothing and handed us a bucket with empty bottles to prop up the window. And they forgot about us! We reminded ourselves after 24 hours. Through bargaining and talking we were moved to a better apartment, for which we are very grateful. Conclusion. The hotel needs renovation, but the people here are kind-hearted. Contact Master Musa, he will solve all problems. A special word about the kitchen. It is a Michelin star. If there is red fish and smoothies on the menu, it is not three stars. Kudos and a bonus to the chef!

This hotel was my best choice of this year (or decade) Everything was just perfect and the price was very very OK for this service. It was easy to find it, it’s in the city center (or close to it), about 10-15-20 min walk from the train and bus station, and the port too. Everybody was polite, friendly, patient and nice. The guy who checked in before me, asked the receptionist inappropriate questions that were beyond the control of the hotel, but the receptionist tried to help him as much as she could in a friendly and polite manner. The room was clean and quiet and comfortable. There were a kettle and coffee and tea in my room, but no cup or mug, but I found glass in the bathroom. I would prefer a separate cup for the tea. There was a small chocolate with the hotel’s logo too. I guess it’s good, but I do not want to eat it, yet. I keep it as a lovely memory. The breakfast was a bufet. It was rich and you can choose whatever you want. Sweet and salty, cold and cooked, everything. There were „free from” options too. As a vegetarian I had no problem to find soooo many things to eat. There were non-vegetarian food too, I just ignored them, I can’t tell how it was. I was on my own, but I saw happy, smiling, satisfied families, so I guess it’s a family friendly hotel. I could leave my luggage in a storage for free, until my train left, so on my last day in Oslo, I could have a lovely and comfortable walk in the city without carrying heavy bags. If I come back to Oslo I will definitely choose this hotel again.

I could not open the window. The air and the temperature were good in the room, but I feel uncomfortable if I cannot open the window. Anyway in the corner I found a fan, what I was happy for, but I didn’t have to use it. The TV was too big to me, and there was a gap about 15mm only, between the TV and the bathroom’s door, so I always worried about it, but it was OK. I did not use the TV at all, so to me it would be better without it, but it’s only me.

The room was perfect for a short stay. It had all the bathroom facilities we wanted. A kettle and fridge was provided. The bed was excellent. we got breakfast included and it was a 15 minute walk from the railway terminus which was great for arriving by train or aircraft via the airport express shuttle. It was also only a short walk from the Royal Place and other key tourist desitnations.

The breakfast was a good continental standard but finished at 9am. This is perfect for business people but not helpful for a more relaxed visit.

Great breakfast, comfortable bed, pretty good location, good size room, good value for money - particularly for Oslo.

The hotel is dated and the lifts are small. Whilst it quite close to the nice parts of Oslo (100 metres), the actual street it is in is a bit unpleasant. Parking over the road whilst good is very expensive.

Beds are comfortable, 2 pillows for 1 person makes possible to choose the one that better! The breakfast is so good, it is not just good price value, it is quite big variety and quality - I like it very much. There is a please to store your things, working place and additional chair. All what I needed It is clean enough and walkable to center. Nearby is a nice bakery.

Nothing really critical, but the hotel services our room everyday and changed towels that were much more often than needed. Not so eco-friendly approach. I would prefer just trash bin emptying, sure it is subjective. The room can be a bit hot at nights, we opened a window, could be better if window can have fixed position when open

The room was clean and warm. Noise free environment. And the breakfast was awesome😊👍

I dont like there was no free car parking. It was stated in the facilities

The location of the property was really good compared to the cost of the room. Everything was within walking distance and not more than 20 minutes away. The breakfast is fantastic. There is a huge variety of hot and cold food, cereals, pastries, yogurt and fruit that it’s almost a three course meal. The hot food is cooked beautifully and is really tasty.

I am a light sleeper and I don’t like hotel doors that close with a thud and these doors do. This is the only thing that made me rate this as an 8.

Great location, great staff, great breakfast. The room was comfortable and quiet and large enough for our needs. I will definitely stay there again next time I am in Oslo. The staff were exceptionally helpful.

The hotel is a bit hard to find, even given the address. If it's dark and you've never been there, take a cab from the central train station rather than walking from the train. If it is during the day, walking from central station or national theater train stop is fine, but it may take a couple of extra minutes to find it once you are close.

Very comfortable bed, best I've ever had in a hotel- memory foam + topper was wonderful. I liked the fridge, kettle + hairdryer. Buffet breakfast was very good. Window opened, so I could get fresh air.

In the breakfast room, if you could separate the tables more, to provide more spaces for singles and couples. There were too many tables set up for foursomes.
