The location was perfect! It was accessible to almost everything. The hotel sits beside Nordstan mall, and it's easy to just run there for some shopping. Very near the central station too. It was a delight to walk around the city early in the morning and again after breakfast. The midsummer season was busy and the hotel fully-booked, but the they managed to accomodate the guests needs. Breakfast can be very crowded around 9am, but the staff directed us to other areas in the hotel where we can have our meals. Breakfast is good, but we wish they can have alternates on other days to have some variety. Room is cozy and clean. We just wish we were given one with a view of the city. It was okay since we go out most of the time anyway. There is a drop-off area and a limited 30-minute parking area. But quite inconvenient if one needs longer parking.

We just didn't like the room without a view. Our window is right in front of other rooms' windows, so we just close it all the time for privacy for both us and other guests'.

For us arriving and departing by train, the location was perfect. Less than 5 mins walk from the station but not noisy or overly busy feeling. We arrived a little early but there was no problem checking in earlier than the stated time, and we were given a room upgrade which was much appreciated! Breakfast was excellent… rather busy as we were there during a major youth football tournament but it didn’t detract from our experience at all. They coped really well with the high occupancy levels! Use of the sauna/plunge/relaxation pool was both essential given the July heat, and a definite highlight. Allowing u15s in before 18:00 was perfect. Top tip: Get a day pass on public transport for ~£9; this covers tram/ferry out to the wonderful islands of the archipelago… and you’ll save £100s on the advertised boat trip which will sting you even more for drinks and snacks on board! 👍

Well not much to say really… you may find the rooms to be on the snug side given what we had was a premium upgrade and it was tight, but that wasn’t an issue for us given this was just a base for 2 days of exploration… we were very comfortable and happy.

The location is very good, near the train station. The staff was very helpful if you told the problem. Breakfast was very good. Bedroom is nice and comfy.

I was so little disappointed about the toilet. The handle to flush is so difficult, you must try it many times before it flushes. You must be strong to do it but I am too old for this stuff, my hand is aching after I flush it... You must tell to the staff so the cleaner don't forget to vacuum your room everyday? And its too hot to sleep. When we check out we told about the problem and they promise to look at it.

- Parking was easy in the shopping center next door. It cost 170 SEK/24 hours. We gave the receptionist our car registration number at check-in and the hotel sorted it all for us. - The room was a good size for 4 guests (2 adults, 2 teenagers) - The rain shower in the room was very nice - Good walking distance to the center - Great breakfast served until 10 am - Later check-out at 12 noon

- Our room (classic with 2 single beds and 2 bunk beds) was advertised with a lavazza coffee machine, both in the pictures advertising the room and in the room facilities description. This was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel over others in the area as we like to have a good cup of coffee in the room when we wake up. Unfortunately the room only had a small kettle and a few sachets of instant coffee. - There was no remote for the TV in the room

The breakfast was good with multiple gluten free options. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms in a well located position next to the central train station and sights.

The power points in the room were in strange locations with the kettle needing plugging in next to the bed. The room was a converted attic space that could account for the strange power points. I found myself hitting my head against the sloping attic walls. Maybe, allocating the attic rooms to shorter guests could reduce the incidence of head damage.

The location is really great.. you see the sign of the hotel as soon as you step outside the train and then you just exit the station and a 2 min walk to the hotel.... Tram connections to everywhere in the city. A big mall just next to the hotel.. Comfortable rooms and very good breakfast.

On our first night the receptionist didn't allow us (out daughter) to use the wellness center, as they have a rule that under 15 year olds not allowed after 6pm.. we requested as it was 25 Dec and we had nothing else planned for the evening. . But it was a no The next day we were going to Liseberg park and coming back later in the evening, so the receptionist on the next day said you can take your daughter and if no other adults ask you to leave she can stay.. when we went there was another child of same age as well.. So our first night was sort of messed up because of them being strict in first night but other night it was fine.

Comfortable beds, quite spacious room for 4 people. Breakfast was very good with a lot of selections. Good location just at Nordstan with convenient car parking only 5 min away. We had a nice dinner at the hotel restaurant, food was good but the table service could be improved.

There was no possibility to open window and get fresh air and the air con did not work, which meant that the room was quite stuffy at times (we were 4 people) and it made it difficult to get a good nights sleep. During our 3 nights stay the room was not cleaned once- we raised a complaint about this. The gym was very, very small - suitable for 1-2 people at most. The wellness spa was good but you had to pay extra to use it £10 pp.

We were very satisfied with this hotel which we chose for accommodation during our 5 day trip in goteborg. The room was huge enough for us and it was clean the bed was comfortable. We had room on top floor so we had quite nice view from our window. They cleaned our room every day and changed our towels. The location of the hotel was also very good near the train and bus station. It was close to the centre by foot and to the stenpiren ferry station. The hotel fullfilled our expectations. The best thing about this hotel was delicious breakfest. Personal in the hotel was very friendly.

EVERYTHING! Our first visit to sweden as a whole and this hotel was the perfect choice! * Excellent friendly and friendly staff from reception to the bar and restaurant staff all patient and super welcoming we will be back!! (I cant recall her name sadly but the young blonde i think woman on reception who checked us out (21st Sept 2024) deserves a special mention so approachable.. has time for your conversation and enquires about your day if youve divulged plans her warmth and the rest of staff too will bring so many guests returning in the future ♥️ * Excellent Location for central gothenburg just seconds from the canal/ Nordstrom shopping centre/ Tram stop and Gothenburg central station (can get a direct train to norway like we did too) all of them right on the doorstep. *THE SPA.. uch we were very lucky and seemed to have the place to ourselves most evenings besides the first two nights where we met two lovely guests really nice touch to the stay being able to relax and unwind here

There wasnt a single thing we didnt like or found fault with personally! Truly beautiful hotel decor and design.. the breakfast was a fab selection and the dinner evening menu at the restaurant was superb! The staff again are the true diamonds here everyone so lovely and really allowed us to enjoy the atmoshere and let me observe and enquire about ciabbatta/pizza making as i watched. I highly recomend this property.

Location, included breakfast, friendly staff. Be aware that if your tourist for the first time the hop.on hop off buses don't always run, padden river tours is an alternative though. A beautiful city and close transport links to some of the islands to explore or a train journey to Stockholm just a few hours away. The fun park is only open Thursday evening to Sunday so plan your visit around those days if your a fun park fan.

The laundry service is charged per item and not a standard charge so did my laundry elsewhere. This is becoming more common in European hotels though so it may not be an issue for some.
