The guy who runs the place is so friendly & a pleasure to chat to. This is a budget B&B so it's not perfect but it's certainly outstanding value & very clean. I liked breakfast as I'm a toast & fruit person & just want a quick one so I don't require cooked food anyway. The location is ideal for me as it's not far from the heliport. It has a heater in the room which you can control which I prefer to the big ceiling fan/air con systems in the bigger hotels

Filter coffee would be great but considering the price of this place I'm not complaining but I'd be happy to pay an extra £1 on the price for a proper cup of coffee

Clean, tidy and quiet

Access was impeded by a builders yard at the entrance. On arrival we found builders vehicles parked in the driveway after talking to the owner we were told we would need to move our vehicle as they required to move vehicles in and out. Asked how we get access to the car park we were informed was not his problem and as he owned the land he could do as he pleased. Outside the property is covered by double yellow lines and being severely disabled I could not walk that far so just parked in front of his vehicle which just upset him more

I stayed here pre mobilization to offshore, from OHS terminal it was a 2 min drive or a 5 min walk, great location if you are having to pay for own accommodation rather than the company pay for it, they also provide a quaint little breakfast to tee up the day ahead.

It was poorly sign posted took a few phone calls to locate it, however the owner came out to the street to direct me, A hand written laminated sign at the end of the street wouldn't go amiss..

manager was so good . he was very helpful . best stay all 10 family members were like the property . breakfast really good . parking outside the property. city is really good . just 10/10 . we will book again . recommend to everyone .

You get what u pay for, room was basic but clean and comfortable, great location next to airport and train station, which although was very busy with helicopters you couldn’t hear them

Better inside than it looks but if u want luxury it would cost a lot more

Very friendly welcome. Efficient check in. Everything really clean. comfortable bed and bedding. Warm room. Hot, powerful shower. Breakfast included. Family friendly. A room for family of five which in our experience is unusual and the main reason we stayed here instead of somewhere else. Would definitely stay again.

Hmm hard coming up with anything negative. Ok well I prefer brown bread for breakfast and there was only white, yep that is all I can come up with.

Friendly staff, good value for money, comfortable bed. Early breakfast (from 5:30 am).

Hotel seems close to the airport, but it is not, because you have to go around, so it would take 53min to walk to the terminal.

For the price I paid, I was more than happy! The place is basic but clean and the owner is a friendly person. The place is a three minute walk from Dyce Railway Station which also has an excellent fish and chip shop right next to it. Wifi in the Ardenlea was strong and continental breakfast plentiful. Overall, very satisfied!

After arriving at Aberdeen Airport I was advised that it was to long a walk to the Ardenlea from the arrivals terminal. Despite being close to the airport as the crow flies. it is around the back of the airport which resulted in a 5 - 10 minute taxi ride, not a big issue as there were plenty of taxis available. One other slight issue was the breakfast room is next to a room which had an 'office' sign on the door. However, it was also a sleeping room, as both times I went for breakfast during my two night stay, I was serenaded by snoring from the 'office' which did put my slightly off my corn flakes.....but all in all, no big deal....I liked the place!

such lovely helpful people. i was stranded after a vehicle breakdown and they couldn’t do enough for me. allowing me to spend some time there today to keep my phone charged and contact garages etc to get my van repaired quickly. they are so hardworking, helpful and generous. excellent value. I’ve paid a lot more for a lot worse. i try to keep my travel costs low. shower and bed really comfortable. what more do you need?

the owners have only been in a short time and are clearly working hard to get things up to 100%. nothing obvious to dislike and I have a feeling with their work ethic, they will get all things needed sorted in time. this plane will only get better.

The bloke who was there was very helpful and friendly. He made sure there was always breakfast items out in the morning and nothing was too much trouble for him. Close to train station and shop. Would stay here again.
