On arrival we were greeted by reception staff, they were warm, friendly and inviting and made check-in a breeze! The trip was for my fiances birthday and I had asked beforehand if they were able to make the occasion even better so as we got our keys, the reception staff wished my fiance a happy birthday and presented her with a hand written card from the manager Mark (who I'd been speaking with beforehand) and gave us a couple of drinks vouchers! We got to the room and it was very well presented, everything was clean and spotless, and had nice little touches. The kitchen was very clean and easy to use, the cutlery, pot, pan etc were also clean but we didn't use them, the bed was comfy and pillows were very good! We went down to the mini mart to grab some cans of juice and snacks and because it was my finances birthday, they gifted them to us! All in all, 10/10 for everything, such an enjoyable stay! Will definitely be coming back here again when we take trips up to Aberdeen, Thank you for everything!

Loved the location, for a trip to Lemon Tree, meeting a friend in All Bar One for lunch, shopping in Union Square-nothing was very far to walk. The studio rooms are neat but plenty room for 2 of us and great to be able to cook a breakfast in morning. The smell in the lobby was lovely. Corridors and rooms well presented and clean. WiFi was included and great. Breakfast was very good and plenty of choice-can order vegan sausages which we did as veggie and they were more than happy to accommodate us. Staff are really very good here.
The pillows were a little annoying to me, 2 of different firmness would have been good as 2 was too many and 1 a little flat. Great that there is a gym -it’s small but dumbbells 2-12kg, 2 benches, cables and cardio equipment. The gym do sneed a few padded yoga/gym mats for cool down stretches/yoga. There are towels and water there. Parking is a little awkward, very well explained when I emailed to enquire beforehand and we opted for Bon Accord -£10 a night with their QR code that you can request upon leaving. £13 a night for their own parking spaces on Flourmill Lane.

The room has all the things you would expect to find in a kitchen, which is not usual for a hotel. I found a frying pan, a fridge, a dishwasher, a microwave, etc. The gym was small, but that's expected.
No beans on the breakfast menu, no black pudding, all else was there, fresh fruits, bacon, sausages, but I think they should put baked beans in the menu. I asked why they don't have it, and they told me that they can bring me some, but I didn't feel like hassling them. No beans. !!

The room was beautiful, lots of space, and super clean. The bathroom we found eventually behind a mirror sliding door where the wardrobe was , which was a hidden delight deceivingly big, with a walk in shower toilet sink and again amazingly clean. King size bed was fabulous its a must stay for any couples.
View wasn't great but to be really honest, I was not there to look out the window. There is a church close by, and the bell rings every hour. It stops at 12 midnight, and it starts again at 8 am, but you don't hear it as loud, if you close the window.

An excellent Residence Inn, from reception and staff to modern ideal room, size and layout, including excellent kitchen area, large clean bathroom, clean and very well furnished bedoom and breakfast room, quality of food and service, friendliness of reception staff and efficient rapid service, great luggage deposit service after booking out leaving free to continue visiting the city unencumbered, ideal location of Inn in city centre, generally one of the best Inns/hotels stayed at. Would also be really excellent for long-term stays. Will be our Inn of choice for all future travels.
Absolutely nothing to dislike; everything was ideal.

The Residence Inn was like an oasis of calm in middle of Aberdeen’s busy city centre with surrounding beautiful flower beds and grassy areas. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable with a kitchenette that had everything including a dishwasher. The bed was made everyday and toiletries replaced as necessary. The hotel is pet friendly and the staff were absolutely brilliant with our dog. My daughter had been unwell during our stay and on the day of our departure Marina extended our check out time. This was really appreciated as my daughter was able to rest longer before our departure. The hotel also served breakfast which included continental and hot breakfast. An added bonus was it could be taken up to the bedroom. The location of the hotel is very central. Nearby are two popular coffee shops, an ice cream parlour, restaurant and around the corner a local supermarket. Parking is convenient at the Loch Street car park. The best place to park is level 1 over to the left through a corridor and then exit onto Gallowgate beside Marishal College. This takes you to the square where the Residence Inn is. I’ve stayed at a few hotels in Aberdeen which were good but the Residence Inn is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed in. I look forward to staying again knowing I’ll receive a warm welcome and an having an enjoyable stay.
Nothing at all.

Location was excellent, staff were very friendly, room was very clean, hotel was in quiet area - you forget your in the heart of the city centre (apart from the drunken male shouting in the early hours coming down the lane 🙄 - always one 🙄), breakfast had a good variety, baggage can be left before/after visit so you can enjoy the area without trailing this with you.
No breakfast staff approached us after we were seated to order any cooked breakfast items, seemed to be plenty of staff on and always busy but did think they were being more friendly to foreign tourists - we still had a sufficient breakfast and everything else about our stay made up for this.

I’ve returned to the familiar city, and even at midnight when I arrived at the hotel, there was staff available to assist me. The breakfast selection isn’t very extensive, but the staff is very attentive to the guests' stay quality. The environment is very clean, and I didn’t experience any discomfort during my stay. The laundry detergent and dryers in the laundry room are free of charge! It's very considerate of the hotel to offer this for the guests!
The hairdryer and wardrobe in the room seem a bit outdated, but they are still functional.

The staff is very helpful and they are positive. Breakfast t is very superb with an attentive staff. . Being 20 feet from Maggies Grill is also nice..
It must be difficult to run a hotel in Aberdeen where it is illegal to drive up to the main entrance, hence the staff entrances is the saving grace. It appears that Aberdeen City Council is systematically working towards making Union Street a deserted dessert like they have done with George Street. Case in point Marks and Sparks are closing the Bon Accord shop.

The location is excellent, being right in the city centre and a short walk to shops, restaurants etc. The room was very comfortable - very comfy bed and pillows. Everything was spotlessly clean and new looking. We didn’t make use of the kitchenette on this visit but it would be very handy on a longer stay. The breakfast buffet hot food options were limited but everything they had was good and seemed freshly cooked, and the selection of cereals etc was good.
It was slightly annoying that the room thermostat - which was directly opposite the bed - had a bright green flashing light. Once we figured out a way to cover it it was fine, but the flashing could make for a disturbed nights sleep.
