Location is very good. Wifi worked without any problems. Kingsize bed was really comfortable. Room was spacious.

Check-in took 20 minutes in total. In the beginning they said they are not able to offer a "double bed", despite our reservation. When we said it is not acceptable, it took another 10 minutes for them to work on it and come with an offer of 2 days of breakfasts instead of doible bed. We rejected the offer and after another 5 minutes they confirmed that they can give us a room with double bed. But overall we had to wait for 20 minutes standing to check-in, meanwhile noone offered us to take a seat and/or have a drink. It was really annoying after a long train journey to Cologne.

The breakfast is great 👍. Lots of variety. The hotel is in a good location with lots of places to eat. The Cologne Train station and Cathedral are very close within walking distance. The staffs are friendly and helpful and engaging The place is very neat 👌. The bed is comfy room is large and cosy. Had a quiet and good rest . Lots of goodies in the room . Safe for your contents. Lots of things to enjoy, gym, bar etc. I will come back again. !!

Only the shower pressure was low but they said they will look at it . Apart from this, it is a great place to stay

We had an unexpected and unique welcome upon reaching our hotel door. Thought it was a crime scene with yellow tape placed as a big “X” on our door. Upon entering, we were totally greeted with a unique decor . Almost thought we were in the wrong room and there was a dead body in it. But it was zany and the staff even wrote us a welcome card and gave us macarons as a welcome gift. Everything in the room was well laid out, spacious and quite unique. We were well provided with water , good pillows and the breakfast spread was very good.

The location was a good 1.2km walk in the freezing and wet cold to the Grand Place. Not many interesting restaurants or shops nearby.

Comfortable, spacious rooms. Good health club.

1. We had 2 rooms with 3 persons (1 adult and 2 children) per room (parents + 4 kids). It was explained to us that we couldn´t be on the same floor - ok. The elevator demanded the room key to go up to one´s floor. So at one point I asked this young woman at the reception if my key could enable me to reach both floors, especially since one of my sons who was staying in his mother´s room (other floor than mine) was sick, vomiting etc. She simply said no, that it´s not allowed. Unreasonable and rigid and unkind. 2. The keys would work for like one day, then would stop working in the elevators and to open the rooms. We had to keep asking for new keys. 3. parking is very expensive

Very comfortable and easy access to the station nearby as well as the xmas night markets we visited by foot. Hotel room perfect size to accommodate for 2 people and luggages.

We couldn't fix the heater to lower it since it would get a little hot in the room at one point but it was not that big of an issue as we were able to comfortably sleep through the night. Reception desk was extremely nice and even had another one of their staff help explain the area in Cologne for the xmas night markets and recommended food spots and other activities to enjoy throughout the day!

The food was ordered for room service was outstanding. The steak was one of the best I've ever had in my life. I had a couple of special requests and the staff went above and beyond to fulfill them. This hotel is awesome.

The only ting thing negative that happened was a small piece of plastic in my eggs that I nearly swallowed, but I didn't fuss. I just made the hostess aware.

Close to the city center, walking distance, comfortable bed, spacious room and bathroom.

Time to check in took a little long

Very comfortable bed and pillows, good shower, great tv with easy chromecast, high variety breakfast, breakfast till 11:30 and checkout till 12 (we were there on Saturday), friendly staff, quick WiFi, very friendly and helpful upfront (booking a restaurant), quiet, room windows open. We received an upgrade and enjoyed it. Easy location from train station, by the dom and the water. Parking for 20 euro/day next to hotel. Great ice cream bar on the corner of the street

Location very close to train station - good neighbourhood, close to dom. However further from the cosier shopping streets and restaurant area (you do have restaurants nearby also though). Carpet on floors

The location was great! Very close to the cathedral, train station, restaurants, and shopping district. All is within a 10 min walk. Our room was spacious and I found the bed comfortable.

Some of the front staff were excellent, while others were rude and unhelpful. The shampoo bottle was empty in the shower when we arrived, though there was shower gel. It wasn't very easy to extend our stay by 1 day. We had to go through multiple people at the front desk and it took about 30 - 40 min to get that done. Otherwise the stay was decent. Would I stay again? Probably not.

We had a really nice and friendly lady do our check in and she spoke very good English and had stayed in the UK so we were off to a good start. The room was large and well ordered and had a fridge and ice bucket (each hallway has an ice machine). The bathroom had an excellent large shower and good toiletries.

I only rated 8 out of 10 where it came to the bed which was a little on the soft side, lacked enough cushions or pillows and had a single thin duvet for a king bed; this was not very cosy or comfortable and meant we did not get to that point of that waking up in bliss and wanting to stay in bed as it was not the correct arrangement for a great nights sleep unfortunately. Close but not quite there!
