Located between the Football and Baseball stadiums along a Row of Bar-Restaurants it’s perfect for attending events at these venues. Having worked in the Hotel/Restaurant industry in the past I know the most important feature for me is good staff. And in my rating of this property would be 6 or 7 without the professional level Hyatt team. From Front desk to housekeeping-maintenance and Breakfast / F&B. 8️⃣. Now-a-days service at some hotels can sometimes be lacking. This property has what makes other hotel managers jealous, GREAT SAFF !! Thanks for doing it right.

The only things preventing higher rating is the pay to park, stadium effect I guess? And a bit of a need for areas of room renovations. That said my room was cozy and adequate for biz travel.

the staff was very kind and helpful. No issues with any of the utilities in the room, everything worked perfect without a hitch. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space in the room. we were very happy to stay here and absolutely would again. It was also right down the road from the AE stage which is why we were coming into town. All around, it was a wonderful stay and trip to Pittsburgh!

room was a little expensive, but worth every penny, the view was just of the parking garage, which is also understandable as we were in the middle of the city. There really wasn't anything that we walked away upset about. All around a fantastic experience.

Hotel location is perfect if you are staying in the north shore area. Right in the middle of restaurants and activities, everything in the North Shore is within walking distance. Our room was spacious and clean, beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The free breakfast was wonderful, hot and cold options, and they were all extremely flavorful and fresh.

The pool water was a foggy, green color with a film on top. My kids did swim in it because it was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel, and we were hoping it was just something off with the chemicals. But it was definitely a bit concerning and unappealing.

Bed and the pillows were very comfortable. Spacious room (almost like a suite with a separated sleeping area from the "living" area. Nice sink and shower too. Nice breakfast bar with a good selection - although I do not recommend the scrambled eggs (were they even real eggs?) Excellent location.

There should be something in the room telling the customer that clean towels would not be provided unless requested. We went out for the day and came back late at night to find that nothing had been cleaned and the used towels were not replaced. We were ok with the room not being cleaned, but could've used some new towels. Also, I had asked for a room with a view when I made my reservation and we got a room with a VERY Close up view of the highway (cars and trucks rushing by about 20 feet from our window). But I guess everybody wants a room with a view, so that's ok.

As much as we loved the hotel and its location it was the staff that made the difference in our stay .. The 2 women at the front desk were more than amazing in their attention to the customers and put a smile on people’s face for sure . I wish I remembered their names . Cameron was absolutely amazing, polite , professional and genuinely motivated to enhance the experience of our stay . I do hope Hyatt management takes the time to c who worked the desk on 9/6 9/7 and take the time to acknowledge a job well done to these nice people . My wife & I are going to Pittsburgh again and likely a couple times a year and wouldn’t consider staying at any other hotel at the north shore .

Staff was very attentive. After the long drive I needed to pee really bad. I casually mentioned it at the front desk. Two seconds later, the clerk handed me a key card to use the lobby restroom. When I returned he had me all checked in! Breakfast was excellent for being free buffet style. Many choices for this vegetarian. Clerk quickly got me some hot water for my tea when the big dispenser ran out. Tea was a good brand too, not the cheap biglow that most hotels have. During the games there was an attendant in the parking lot that was super friendly to my partner. Bed was comfortable. Location perfect for sporting events. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Only used our car once and that was to visit someone outside of the area

Wish the pool was bigger for lap swimming but that's not really a big deal

This was our first visit to Hyatt Place. The room was very spacious, clean, comfortable and great air conditioning. The breakfast offered more than most hotels including some healthy options. A small bar in lobby is a nice option and serves a limited food menu. We absolutely loved the location as it situated between both the baseball and football stadiums. Two blocks in either direction. plenty of great bar and food options within a multi block radius. The staff was extremely helpful and professional!

Check was not until 4pm. However, you have the option to leave your items secured with staff or leave in your car in a gated lot.

The location was pretty much perfect, walking distance from many restaurants. We came down for the Suicideboys concert, so the location was also a perfect distance from the arena without being outrageously priced. The brewery right down the street was amazinggg. The food and the service were both 10 out of 10. Don’t even get me started on the beds, soooo comfy. If i knew what pillows they purchased I would buy 12 of them. The people at the front desk were super sweet and friendly and provided a smooth and fast check in. I would absolutely stay here again.

Definitely a nicer hotel. The staff was friendly. Rotating breakfast that had a good variety of options, from pancakes to breakfast tacos. Decent walking distance from most places - close to the baseball/football stadiums, across the street from the Museum of Illusions, a short walk to several restaurants/bars, and barely a 3-minute walk to Stage AE for concerts/events.

I didn't like the parking fee tacked on upon check-in. I understand they "need" to do it being in a city, I just wish it would be more transparent and less of a surprise. The beds were also minorly uncomfortable in my opinion. I also wish breakfast was served for a little longer on weekdays but other than that I had no complaints.

We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the location, amenities and breakfast.

After we checked in, we decided to get some food. I went to the lobby to purchase drinks from the provided drink station. There were 3 staff persons at the front desk. I stood by the counter to purchase my drink and one of the staff looked at me and proceeded to walk in the back. The other two staff continue checking in people that were standing in line. Once I wasn't helped for a few minutes I decided to then stand in line behind all the people checking in. I eventually was helped after numerous people were checked in. I do believe the staff person standing by the counter not checking people in, who did see me should have rung me up for my drink instead of walking away.
