The location was great - within minutes walking distance to PNC Park which we could see out of our hotel window. There are many things to do and places to eat also within easy walking distance. The hotel is a great solid building that is well-appointed, and the rooms were quiet. The parking garage was across the street which was a bonus. The area was clean and felt safe. The doorman was very friendly and helpful.

I think the coffee makers in the room were inadequate especially to make tea, which I prefer. For the high cost of the room, I think they could do better. Also, there was used aluminum foil under the sink at the pipe to mask a missing fitting. A picture was noticeably missing off the wall between other pictures and marks left on the wall in its absence.

I loved the view of our hotel room. It was gorgeous and looked right out toward PNC park and the steelers field. The room itself was clean and well kept. Overall, enjoyable experience and the atmosphere of the hotel was very nice. I have stayed at a lot of hotels. This was definitely up in my favorites.

The only thing I didn’t “like” per se was that the shower head was a bit broken. It took some maneuvering to get it to work but nothing unmanageable.

Absolutely fantastic! This was our first time staying at the Renaissance, we have stayed at multiple other properties in downtown Pittsburgh, but this will be our first choice moving forward! This property is a gorgeous blend of old architecture and new modern finishes. Our room was quiet, bed was comfortable, view was fabulous! It was the perfect venue for a date weekend!

Honestly, the only thing that was a little off was the shower curtain was too short for the top of the tub. Stupid little thing, absolutely no significance to our stay.

location is perfect for going to the ballgame and/or checking out the cultural venues in the city.

Check-in clerk acted like she couldn't care any less. Maybe a bad day. Water bottles provided in the room -at a charge- that wasn't indicated anywhere that I can remember. I should have read all the fine print. Offsite parking across the street was ok but valet was $45 a day- ouch!

What a bizarre hotel. Right out of a sience finction movie. Huge, big, dark, impressive. We had a corner room overlooking the bridges and the river. The windows could be opened. Great room, great shower and bath. A huge TV with excellent reception and I thought also Netflix and youtube, but we did not try the last two. There are reasonable restaurants nearby, but it is helpful if you make reservations, otherwise they are full.

The room is difficult to darken. Because of the high windows, the blackout curtains do not fit nicely. So if you are in a corner room, the light, from the spotlights aimed at the facade at night, falls into the room.

Excellent location, views over the water, near Warhol museum, plenty of restaurants, public parking opposite the street. Great beds and large rooms

We reserved a king room, but we're given a single queen. Rest of the hotel was full, so we had to wait for one night to get the king. Which was excellent with great views. Guest internet was not working during entire stay.

The location was fabulous and having public parking across the street made it even better. Valet parking was available also. Everything was spotless and the rooms were very spacious and clean. We did stay for breakfast in the restaurant in the lobby and it was superb and the wait staff were amazing.

Everything was great, so I can’t comment

They put us on (almost) the top floor without me asking. We paid for a river view which was totally worth it. We didn't try the restaurant or bar. We would absolutely stay here again. Location was great. We went to the symphony which was right next door.

We loved the location for attending an event at Heinz Hall. Beautiful view looking down the river. We liked that the complimentary breakfast was served away from the lobby like most hotels. Our schedule didn't permit us to enjoy the afternoon hors d'oeuvres offered but impressed by the availability

We had a small problem with a noise from the ventilation system during the night. We reported it when checking out and we were assured it would be reported to the building engineer.

Great location! Beautiful lobby! Great shower and comfortable bed. The view was gorgeous!

I know the place has some age on it and that’s fine, but there was a gross stain in the chair in the room. They just need to be aware of details. I had a blood spot on my pillow.
