The hotel management and customer support were very efficient in quickly finding solutions to any issues related to accommodation. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were generally clean, and the kitchen had enough equipment for cooking. If something was missing, you could request it, and they would provide it. The building's location was very central, allowing you to explore downtown on foot and easily find a bus to other places.

The bed linens, duvet covers, blankets, towels, plates, glasses, pots, and refrigerator in the rooms were clean. However, the sofas, inside the cabinets, oven, coffee makers, and rugs on the floor could have been cleaner. There was an issue with the ventilation system, as unpleasant smells like burnt oil or strong food odors could suddenly fill the room, and since the windows could not be opened, it was impossible to get rid of them. Additionally, for long-term stays, a mop should be provided for floor cleaning.

My experience staying at Stay Pittsburgh was absolutely wonderful! Check in was easy, the facilities were spacious and clean, as well as a great value. The location is ideal for exploring downtown Pittsburgh and all it has to offer! I even had a mistake I originally made extending my stay, and the support team was beyond patient and accommodating in helping fix it. They were so pleasant to work with while assisting me in fixing a mistake that I had made in the first place, and found me an incredible new unit to transfer to the next day while allowing me to stay in my original unit until I could switch. I have very rarely experienced such wonderful and kind customer service. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Excellent value for money. I booked this room for a nearby conference at the convention center, where my PhD advisor told me to work on a project he claims is funded, only for him to say that there is no funding for me to present in a conference (of which I submitted our project to this prestigous conference and received an acceptance), and told me to pay out of pocket, while he stayed in a $400/night hotel. Since all the nearby hotels from the convention center was $300/night minimum, and my advisor screwed me over big time, I was lucky to come across this place which charged ~$470 for about 5 nights, a fraction compared to the hotels in that area!

The shower barely had any water come out, was like showering with a Brita filter.

Location is a bit janky if you’re not used to the atmosphere, there’s small fixes that I experienced and also read about from previous reviewers that could’ve been addressed and fixed but still remained unresolved (loose tp holders, mold in showers, broken vanity drawers, holes in floors, and clogged sink) cleanliness not the best but that’s probably a staff issue. The laundry card costs $5 and that’s before adding the money to do the card to do the laundry, and for some reason the clothes came out smelling like old urine? I used the other washer and dryer and that seemed to fix the issue. It must’ve just been the dryer on the left side as the culprit.

We participated in the marathon. Location was the best. We were within walking distance to everything. We didnt have to deal with road closures or traffic. The rooms were clean and 2 bathrooms with the sinks in the hallway were perfect for the two bedroom apts. We could all get ready at once. Was nervous about the beds initially but everyone slept well on them. There is an elevator. Look for it. It is through a door on the right. Signage would be helpful.

The one apt was upkept much better than the other. Maintenance was needed in one of the rooms for minor repairs. More coffee cups would have been great. There was one that had any size to it. There were no plastic cups or dish towels. Was nervous about making it through with the supplied toilet paper but we made it through. We were told they would get us what we needed and they were quick to respond to help us with final booking details but once we were there we didnt request anything from them so to be fair they may have helped us with what we needed. There is no front desk. Contact is virtual.

Good value for money, good downtown location, lotsa space in apartment. Easy check-in. Given only one night stay planned (less than 12 hours), this booking was good and I understand the objective (support affordable downtown accommodation) which I was happy to contribute to, but little details outlined below prevented higher score.

Despite booking for 3 adults there was only one mug in the cupboard. Not enough utensils for 3. Kitchen sink water pressure was low, only dribbles. Remote control missing back to hold batteries and didn’t seem entirely compatible with TV (couldn’t control volume).

Great location, and very good prices. Walking distance to downtown and many restaurants. Rooms were not very spacious, but good size, nonetheless. Living room/dining room was cozy and comfortable. Kitchen was practical with all the essential equipment there. Clean and tidy upon arrival. Management Team is super responsive via email and texts. A huge plus!

Roku remote didn't have volume controls. Had to download the app to control TV. No bathmats. Notified the service crew on site, and they agreed to address that, but didn't or weren't able to.

They respond to your needs very well and every time I reached out with any type of question or concern they answered very promptly. I appreciate the help and working to accommodate my needs. I have been staying here for a few years off and on . Every time Is for longer stays, it’s quiet and you don’t have to do anything but type in your door code. No front desk, no keys, very convenient and easy. Thank you for your great hospitality.

Some of the housekeepers are not very friendly and have given me problems previously but the other employees are great !

The suites were well kept and maintained, and also have a pretty good modern style inside them. I was surprised that they were spacious when entering my room as well.

There isn't a lot of complaints about the rooms nor the hotel. Some people might just be a bit surprised if they never been to one of these hotels and not see any staff members if this is their first time at these places. Parking is tricky even with downtown traffic that it'll take a minute to actually park your car, however the nearest parking garage is just across the street from the hotel.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Stay Pittsburgh! The apartment was truly awesome - it was incredibly cozy, warm, and sparkling clean. From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The location in downtown Pittsburgh couldn't be more perfect. It's within walking distance to all the major attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it the ideal base for exploring this amazing city.

I didn’t have hot water the first 2 days. Not sure why, but then my last day the hot water was working fine
