Had such a wonderful stay, everything was clean and amenities ready for use within the Tack Room. Most of Alnwick's best features and attractions were all within walking distance, and hosts David and Bev were incredibly courteous and friendly; even going as far to leave us a bottle of Prosecco and box of truffles for our Valentine's stay. Thank you!

As others have mentioned before, the parking is down a very narrow lane where turning around is INCREDIBLY difficult. I kept it in mind when booking but didn't realise just how narrow this road was. Turning is done by using two other drives on the lane that are quite significantly sloped and there's also neighbouring cars parked adjacent along the lane just to make things more complicated. My car vicinity sensors were going crazy just driving down the road. I like to reverse park but here I would advise others to drive in forward. Had a few chuckles at my own expense, and it's certainly of no fault of the owners, but it's frankly stressful and something for other guests to keep in mind. Especially if you have an SUV.

A wonderful friendly welcome from David and Beverley, who also explained about the facilities and how breakfast was ordered. The decor and attention to detail was beautiful and every care taken to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was a treat. The kitchen had every appliance and utensil you could need so you could choose to eat in or not. The breakfast menu was incredible, we felt thoroughly spoiled and it was sufficient to see us through to tea time, with lovely fresh fruit and a delicious cooked option. My omelette with salmon was scrumptious. The Coach House is in a wonderful location for access to Alnwick and only a short drive to explore beaches in the locality for walking. On one sunny afternoon it was lovely just to chill in the garden on the decked area and relax , listening to the birds chirping. In the evening it is a very quiet area. David and Beverley were happy to help us with finding local venues and walks, they really were fantastic hosts. Best experience of B&B we have had .

The Coach House was a lovely stay. The hosts were very welcoming providing everything we needed and an amazing breakfast. The property is very quiet in a secluded location but just a short walk into town. Barter Books and Lidl are also very close by. It very much felt like a B&B with a gorgeous room, facilities and hosts available but also gave the choice to self cater if one wanted such as a fridge, freezer, oven, microwave and plates etc. The hosts clearly care and want guests to have the best experience. We would return.

We stayed in 'The Groom's Loft' and can't recommend it enough! The property is absolutely spotless, with quality bedding, furniture and fittings and a large bathroom with full size bath, separate double size shower, quality towels, dressing gowns and complimentary toiletries. On arrival we were greeted by the loveliest hosts and Jimmy the dog who is adorable. There was even a pot of tea and cake with was a really thoughtful touch. We loved that our room had it's own private landing where we could enjoy our breakfast each morning. Breakfast was fantastic with a great selection of freshly cooked options, including lighter choices, fresh pastries, cereals, porridge and fresh fruit & yoghurt. There is secure parking at the property and if heading out on foot it's the perfect location as it's only a short walk to eateries and shops and the perfect base for tourist spots. We'll definitely be returning!

Absolutely fabulous place. I booked a place in Alnwick almost as an afterthought, but didn't want to leave at the end of the visit. David and Beverley (the hosts) were lovely and couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. There's a decent eatery across the road from the B&B and the Northumbria beaches are only a short drive away. Had never visited Alnwick before and was surprised at how much there was to do. Only wish I'd visited when I was more mobile!

No real gripes. Did drive up and down the road a few times looking for the place, but had I read the helpful email the host's had sent out, that might have been less of a chore!

Fantastic property in a great location down a quiet private road. Really comfortable . David and Beverley were amazing hosts and could not do enough to make sure that we had a comfortable stay. The breakfast choice was great with really good quality produce and delivered to your room at a time of choosing. We had a fantastic week at The coach house and would not hesitate to recommend it. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed

Nothing it was perfect

Can't fault one thing about our stay it was everything and more than expected. He went above and beyond for us. We stayed 2 nights but had to be out by 6am the first morning as we were doing a charity walk so Dave brought our breakfast items in the night before. When we got back the room had been tidied for us. The breakfast the second morning was outstanding, Dave brought this in fully cooked and did all the cleaning up afterwards. Highly recommend the eggy bread with bacon and maple syrup it was unreal. We would definitely recommend to stay here and we'll certainly be back. Thanks for making our stay amazing, relaxing and comfortable.

Perfect location within walking distance of Alnwick Town, the castle and gardens and a plethora of shops, pubs and restaurants. The B&B was like a self contained studio room with kitchenette. Beautifully decorated, stylish, clean and well equipped. A gorgeous courtyard garden with outside seating complimented the property. David was the perfect host and even made us a cup of tea on arrival and gave us a slice of homemade cake. The breakfast choice was amazing, was delivered to our room, at our chosen time and was delicious and well presented.

Nothing, it was perfect

Whole experience was beyond our expectation. We were met by our very friendly hosts as if we were long standing family friends. Weather and journey had been appalling but thankfully we were welcomed into David and Beverly's home and they took care of everything to enable us to settle in and relax while they attended to our luggage and provided us with refreshments and cake and did everything to make us feel very special and very welcome. Once settled in and established they gave us a guided tour of our accommodation explained everything, enquired if we needed anything and asked if there was anything they could do to make our stay more comfortable. They were excellent company yet managed to strike a balance and give us our own space when required. Best short holiday experience we have had yet. Thank you.

Could not find any fault at all or anything that could be improved related to our accommodation, treatment or involvement with our hosts. For our part there was nothing about our short stay at The Coach House that we would suggest could be improved. If we return to that area again we would certainly book a stay at the Coach House without hesitation.

A lovely place to stay, quiet and secluded and yet well located close to Alnwick centre. You can really feel the thought, experience and attention to detail that has gone in to making a stay at the Coach House an absolute pleasure. The hosts were friendly, professional and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation had everything you could need and the wonderful breakfasts were a great way to start each day. Recommended without reservation!
