There are cheaper options for hotels in Louisville but this one was still reasonably priced and an exceptional value. There are fun artistic details throughout the common spaces and rooms, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our stay included complimentary bourbon night-caps at the bar, which was a great touch. The fitness center was small but functional, and included a sauna. The galleries are worth checking out even if you don’t stay at the hotel.

Our room didn’t have a mini fridge, which I did miss.

We visited this location on a whim. I got a reservation the day before, they let me check in early! We loved the steam room and would have gotten a massage at the spa had we reserved a spot sooner. The art is amazing and from pictures online it seems they change it out every so often to prevent the same things being shown! We purchased wine and were able to walk around the museum enjoying our drinks. I love that it’s not just a hotel, there’s other enjoyable things to do rather than sit in the room. Located in a perfect spot. Would highly recommend!

Not the hotel’s fault but unless you have valet parking you have to walk to the hotel from the parking garage next door. Not a terrible walk just inconvenient if you don’t have a suitcase on wheels, or a lot of luggage.

Beautiful, modern, and accommodating. The restaurant was wonderful, a lot of fun vibes and speciality drinks. The food was great, just a limited menu.

The only complaint I have is that the beds are pretty small. That being said-never once were they misleading about the bed size. I just wish they had a room with a couple larger beds, considering we travel with our teenage daughter a lot.

*The server at breakfast was lacking we arrived at 9:10am got seated and the servers seemed to be setting up for lunch and didn’t come refill our coffee ask if we needed anything. I had to get out of my seat and find her to ask for my OJ and refill *Sitting in the bar the evening we arrived starving just as the dinner was over at 10:05pm Bar couldn’t serve food -no peanuts or popcorn. Little munchies at the bar table would be a nice touch -they do it in Europe and other high end hotels. Low buget but would nice a nice touch specially if you do have the facilities that don’t stay open

This 21c is obviously the OG of the 21c hotels. The art displays are phenomenal and the addition of the Night at the Museum perk was a lovely blend of art and bourbon - perfect for Louisville. Also, our room was large and comfortable; the bathroom and its amenities were spa-worthy.

The people were as nice as they could be. Constant warmth and helpfulness! The room was fabulous, but the BREAKFAST. One of the best I have ever had anywhere. Just awesome. The art is fantastic, too.

I like a swimming pool and extensive workout gym facilities, but the ambiance and food make this my first choice in Louisville.

The concept of hotel, excellent restuarant and gallery is amazing

Front desk staff very impersonal and cold. Massages and spa services are advertised all over, but I did not realize you needed to give 24 hour notice to have a service. I found myself with open time and really was looking forward to booking one for the next day when I checked in.

1) Both of us thought bed pillows thick and uncomfortable 2) The shower is an open design, so the water ends up on quite a bit of the bathroom floor, with one terrycloth bathmat (which gets soaked), making the floor slick and somewhat dangerous. 3) We were out most of the day and hoped to get our room refreshed by housekeeping while we were gone (the soaked bathmat replaced, some more water), which didn’t happen. Not sure why, as we saw them refreshing rooms around us.

The Hotel was also an Art Studio and Museum, great atmosphere and staff. Everyone we encountered was helpful and polite. It was a pleasure to stay there.

The only thing was the elevator when it stopped on a floor had a really unusual sound effect, needs work. However, nothing in the scheme of things.

the room did not have a mini fridge in it! I have never been to a hotel that didn’t have a mini fridge. also the room has one small window is the very left corner. the window was so close to the wall that the shades that cover the window had nowhere to go so the already small window was always at least 50 percent covered. it would have been nice to have sunlight in the room. the bed only had small flat pillows.
