Everything about the hotel is 10. Nice staff, comfortable beds and pillows, free luggage storage for check out day, good air-conditioning for warmer days. Highly recommended.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Vienna Our stay at Hollmann Beletage was an absolute delight. Tucked away on a quiet street in Vienna’s historic center, the hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere while still making you feel like you’re right in the heart of the action. Everything—from major sights to cozy cafés—was just a short walk away. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast. It was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of thoughtful local touches. Each morning felt like a relaxed and delicious experience, far beyond the usual hotel fare. The afternoon “happy hour” was a fantastic bonus. Free Austrian beer, fresh bread, and traditional meatloaf made for a satisfying snack or light dinner—definitely a money-saver and a great way to unwind after exploring the city. Our room was stylish and comfortable, with plenty of space and great attention to detail. The rain shower was exceptional—a luxurious way to start or end the day. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always happy to offer helpful tips and recommendations. It really felt like staying at a friend’s chic city flat, with just the right balance of privacy and hospitality. We’d absolutely recommend Hollmann Beletage to anyone visiting Vienna. It’s elegant, cozy, and full of charm—an unforgettable stay we’d gladly repeat.

I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel, and I can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. A special mention goes to Sarah, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.She was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely exceptional, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean, which made us feel even more comfortable during our visit. As for the location, it couldn’t have been better—ideal for exploring the area and close to everything we needed. I found the 'modesty' screen in the bathroom quite translucent, so I showered with the lights off (I could see too much of what was happening outside with good detail, so assumed the same went the other way). Breakfast was indeed lovely, but I just find asking for every single little thing (esp additional cups of tea) quite a faff for both the guests and staff - it's so much easier to just have a tea / coffee machine that guests can operate as part of the buffet section.

I called prior to arriving as we were 3 people in a triple xl room and the reservation said 2. I spoke to Sara at the front desk and explained that I did put 3 in as this was our 5th stop in our journey booked in December, the room said 'triple'. She changed the reservation and assured me there would not be a problem. When I went to check out they wanted 50€. I stated they needed to talk to Sara. Sara was no longer employed ( 2 days since we spoke and she was gone?) they stated they'd forego the €50 but I had to pay for my sons breakfast that day €35. I was very upset. A nice stay ended with us not going back and not recommending. They should have called Sara, it had only been 2 days. That is very bad business.

Best hotel breakfast ever, chef and waitresses working so hard - we very much appreciated it! Great location close to the main square and metro station.

The reception staff struggled to work the booking system when we tried to pay on check out, we were stuck for about 2p mins trying to resolve in a reception the temperature of a sauna when we only had 3 hours left to visit the city, a shame, they tried hard but the system was difficult. Also there are lockers for storage but the staff have to operate them for you in case you take the €2 (summer excessive) if I run off with it then just charge my room, felt like a child to have them open and take the euros back bro trusting me to return it.

Great location, very central but on a quieter side street. Walking distance to most sights and close to transport links.

Room cleanliness not to the standard of a 4* hotel - bedside tables and central unit were dusty and dirty on arrival. A personal touch welcoming guests to a hotel is nice but should be kept to inside the room, rather than a guest’s full name displayed on a chalk board outside the room for all to see. Lack of privacy in the room with windows directly into the courtyard. There is a clear view into the room if the light is on and curtains are open. (Hotel disregarded it when an earlier review mentioned but I also found this to be the case).

The design of the hotel is excellent, and the service is friendly. The breakfast is delicious, and the location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station.

The shower door is transparent, which is a problem when staying with a friend, as there is no privacy. One person had to wait outside the room while the other was showering. The room was located on a half-sunken level next to the rooftop garden, with the window facing directly towards the garden. This raised concerns about safety and privacy, so we had to keep the window closed and the curtains drawn at all times.

The general design is nice. Breakfast is excellent.

Not entirely as advertised, small things like there not being a kettle in the room, and no power outlets next to the bed (there are but they switch off with the lights). The entree is difficult to find, they seem to be working on it. Personnel seems more focused on each other and can be quite loud in that. I would also like to be able to get coffee somewhere (after breakfast). Minibar is very expensive, a small bag of crips does not cost 5 euros. The bathroom needs some renovation and the shower switches from hot to cold.

Room was lovely, spacious and very well decorated, felt quite 'exclusive'. The hotel occupies part of a building but the unusual set up leads to a quirky feel inside. All space really well used and lots of space to relax outside of the room. Access to out of hours drinks and snacks was great, as was the super cute little 'garden' area. We didn't make use of the little in house cinema but it looked fun. Breakfast was fantastic!

We were surprised by the open plan nature of the bathroom, lovely for a couple but as friends travelling together needed a bit of negotiation. I suspect the set up was visible in photos but we didn't notice. Despite this, the facilities really were first class.
