We liked the friendly and warm staff, the spacious suite we were kindly upgraded to at no extra cost, free drinks and breakfast, and the quality of the pub fare offered by the kitchen. The dry sauna was divine.

The pool and hot tub need some love. There was a lot of build up and discoloration on both. The water under the type of lights used in the pool area looked a sickly green. The location on Hayden Island was really frustrating to get to and from either North or South Portland. We ran into massive slowdowns any direction we tried to come or go. We chose it to be close to friends who live on the island but it was such a pain to come and go that we wouldn’t stay here again in spite of enjoying the hotel itself.

We upgraded our room to the deluxe, it was huge. We loved the dining table and chairs. We had a couple of rooms for our group and it was really excellent to have more space to congregate between events. The front desk was also able to keep our rooms relatively close, so my little one could go back and forth to grandma's and it was a real treat for him to have that access.

My only suggestion would be an area rug on the hard stone floor, it looks beautiful and it is easier to keep clean and I really appreciate that, it just makes for an echoey sleeping space.

Beds were excellent, room was large. Reception evening was great. Food at their restaurant was very good. The breakfast probably would have been very good except the staff failed to have it competely set up by 0700. The scrambled eggs were a bit wet and the orange juice was terrible. The pancakes however were very good. Security for the parking is outstanding. The best thing was the staff. They were friendly and welcoming.

Actually, the elevators were a bit dirty and one was out of commission.

Super large clean facility with gated parking. We were driving a large U-Haul track and the parking lot was able to accommodate fitting our truck comfortable. The hotel is also pet friendly which was a bonus for us. Friendly check in staff and bartender when we went to claim our complementary drinks.

Nothing negative except there isn't much to do on the island. But then again we were only staying for the night.

Our room was pleasant enough, quite spacious, and with a comfortable king bed and sofa. The layout of the room was a bit strange with one sink outside the bathroom doing double duty for the kitchenette. Towels were thin, but the bed and covers were quite comfortable. We skipped one free breakfast as it was over by 9 a.m. Relatives in another suite told us that breakfast was quite good and included create it yourself omelettes. Parking is good, and the hotel suites are a great value overall.

Towels were thin; problems with plumbing -- fixed, but then needing work again; breakfast from 6 to 9 is over too early.

It's a nice place to stay great for families. Staff was very nice and helpful

The bath tub wouldn't drain so it was always full of water. Just needs to be unclogged probably. They don't give you adequate bedding one little sheet and a thin comforter and in winter it's very cold in the room. I asked for an extra blanket which was provided.

Very clean, very contemporary. Great deal - including free drinks from the bar when we arrived!

Honestly, the only thing that we didn’t like was the coffee. At breakfast, only grounds came out when we tried to pour coffee. And the coffee in the room was like camping coffee. But that was truly the only disappointment!

Quite Comfortable Could have offered cold water in room Beautiful room and big shower area large towels and large bottles of Shampoo, Conditioner, Liquid Soap, and Lotion wonderful smell. Real glass water glasses, bigger ice buckets, real drinking coffee or tea cups with paper saucers. Plus Coffee, and Tea too. Microwave, Ironing board, Refrigerator, big roomy beds, 4 big pillows, and Sofa bed to if needed.

Super cold in room took forever to warm up. Needs Safety Bars in around toilet and in shower area. We were both handicap and needs help in rest room.

The staff was great! Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was phenomenal ♥️ loved the omelet bar!! Definitely would recommend and stay again!! Thank you!!

That we couldn’t get a drink past 7:30pm and checked in at 8. The elevator button needs to be fixed.

Nice, basic hotel. Great cook to order omelette option in the morning, with better than average breakfast offerings. I return to this hotel because the staffing and service remains consistent.
