Clean, swimming pools and sauna are a plus.

Rooms in lower floors might hear the sound of cars, if one is really sensitive to sounds.

This is simply a fantastic hotel with the most wonderful staff working there. Everyone is very caring and the hotel facilities (including the heated roof pool) are just great. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, the downstairs spa is also great, although it was warm enough to stay at the roof pool already. Breakfast was also very well organized and tasty! The wellness centre offers perfect treatments, I went for the hot stone massage - by Ety (!) - which was exceptional. I have forgotten the name of the name of the Nepalese guy working at the rooftop bar, but he is also just amazing! Overall a VERY good experience at Hyatt Regency and this definitely contributed a lot to the positive moods we got from wonderful Malta. Thank you!!!

The party-area nearby is way too touristic, but this is definitely not the fault of the hotel.

Definitely one of the best hotels we have stayed in and we have traveled quite a bit. The hotel is presentable, there is everything you need for a winter trip, a heated pool on the 11th floor, a spa with a warm pool downstairs, saunas, towels, bathrobes. The hotel has reasonably priced cocktails and drinks, which is quite unusual for a 5-star hotel. The team is wonderful, so accommodating (and we had our share of requests), we got everything answered quickly, it's on a level of its own. We had breakfast separately and paid 19.90 for the room, or nearly 10 euros per person. The food and service are worth the money, freshly made omelette and eggs benedict style, the buffet selection was very good, many salads, but also ham, cheese, eggs, coffee selection and of course the morning prosecco, which could be mixed with fresh orange juice and voila, the mimosa is ready. Anyway, I wish the team a lot of success to maintain this level, I definitely recommend 101%!

Staff at the Hyatt Regency are welcoming and attentive in every aspect. Nothing was too much trouble. They never failed to make us smile whether that was when sharing a lift ride, delivering room service or making cocktails around the pool. Perfect spa break. The spa treatment experience is exceptional. We booked several times on our visit. The staff are excellent and Claudia made us feel relaxed and revitalised. The rooftop pool and bar has a happy hour and very good value cocktails, DJ's and live music and when there were functions on the roof in the evening, the courtyard downstairs provided the perfect space to relax. The Seed restaurant Breakfast was delicious. Snacks at the Pool Bar hit the spot. All food was fresh and beautifully presented. Our room was clean and we were surprised with a huge TV. There was a problem with the shower leaking into the bathroom, but that was rectified the same day. Location is next to shopping centre, short walk to some restaurants etc.

However to leave the area for more eateries towards Spinola Bay and St Julian's the route to walk is through the night life district in Paceville which is crowded in the evening and smelly in the daytime as they clean the clubs. Otherwise the other road route is quite dangerous to walk. Not the hotels' fault. Maybe an electric buggy doing drop offs? Maybe there is more work being done to the roads to add pedestrian walkways.

Very clean room and facilities, very friendly and helpfull staff. The location is perfect if you want to be close to everything but not in the middle. Rooftop pool and poolbar are excellent. 24h indoor pool is a plus.

For a 5star hotel we found the breakfast a bit tasteless but with great variety.

Amazing location for St Julians, easy access to many other buses around Malta: La Valetta, Mdina etc. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, I have to honourably mention Hoque, Valentina and Kumar, for their efforts to make our stay very enjoyable. The spa is great as well. We decided not to go for breakfast in the hotel as we wanted to explore. And did not have time to use the outdoor swimming pool but the indoor one was quite good - bit busy at times but always clean.

The spa could be a bit bigger - we have had to wait for sauna etc. The air con was very very noisy to have on - and we had to have it on because the room would get quite warm even in February. It's. a bit annoying the aircon also seemed to reset to 22C now and then. But apart from that everything was great.

My boyfriend and I chose the Hyatt Regency to celebrate our 6 year anniversary. Upon arrival the staff in the lobby was extremely friendly and helpful making sure we knew everything we needed to know about the hotel and its facilities. The week leading up to our weekend getaway the hotel contacted me through booking.com and asked if we had any requests. I kindly requested a special arrangement as my boyfriend and I were celebrating 6 years together, but I was not prepared for what the hotel had prepared for us. We were given a room on the 7th floor which had a lovely view of the nearby surroundings. We were welcomed with wine, chocolates and sweet decorations to kick-off our anniversary celebrations. The breakfast selection was delicious and varied and we always went down to the breakfast area with a smile on our faces. The indoor and outdoor pool were also heated and had a relaxing atmosphere. The Hyatt Regency hotel exceeded our expectations and we felt so at home at this wonderful hotel. We recommend it wholeheartedly and we'll definitely visit again!

We were a group of 4 friends visiting Malta for the first time. Thanks to the great staff at the Hyatt and especially Nevena, who went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay possible, our vacation turned into a dream. The rooms are spacious, brand new and clean. The beds are super comfortable and the balconies are amazing with the best view towards the chapel. The rooftop pool is the place to be if you want to relax, with views to the ocean and a cozy pool. The spa and gym facilities were convenient and clean. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide assortment of food, great staff that always checked if we needed anything. Above all - Nevena - who is simply the kindest and most professional receptionist we have ever come across. She helped us with everything we needed during our stay. A big thank you for making our vacation unforgettable.

good location. 5 minutes to the beach. A 2 minute walk to the Bay Street shopping mall and St Julian's night life. The very friendly staff. I was welcomed by Justine from the door. Very pleasant and helpful. The ladies at the check in desk were also very helpful.

The noise that came from the hooting cars on the main street Triq Sqaq Lourdes

We stayed in this hotel during a short stay in Malta. Although the location is not the best (St. Julian's is not a very nice place compared to others, in my opinion), the hotel has largely met all our expectations for accommodation of this category. The rooms are spacious and adequately clean (we stayed on the 8th floor), the breakfast is very varied and of excellent quality both for savoury and sweet foods. The staff is very courteous and always ready to satisfy every request, as far as possible. The swimming pool on the top floor is very scenic, even if we did not use it given the not very high temperatures in January (however the water is heated); but it was not a problem, as there is another one on the lower floors (also heated). The free parking offered right under the hotel is very convenient (it is a public parking, in the hotel they give you a ticket to exit).

Two points to improve, in my opinion: the first is that the minibar in the room is empty, I would have preferred it to be full with a price list for drinks; It would be very convenient when the bar downstairs is closed (closes at 11pm). The second is that the spa area is very small, with a sauna and a limited-sized ice room.
