Breakfast was exceptional, one of the best continental breakfasts I had. Room was fun, spacious and very well provisioned. You can see many small details around the hotel where it's clear someone made an extra effort. I loved it. WiFi was especially good. Bar had great drinks. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I'd certainly be returning.

There's no parking on site, one parking spot is 200m away (it's 200m of ascent from to the hotel) and quite crowded on weekends - maybe there are others closer. Water pressure was weak.

What a cool boutique hotel in the buzzy area of Lisbon. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The owner's wife is an architect and converted an old print factory into a loft hotel. The rooms are spacious and stylish. The location is superb (but Ubers not allowed on the narrow street). The staff take pride in serving a gorgeous breakfast in the morning down in the common area.

It was all superb. The shower temperature might have been a little tricky to get at just the right temperature. If you don't like a neighbourhood with bars and restaurants and the associated noise, look elsewhere. The window/balcony doors were double glazed, set back, and the noise was mostly kept outside, but not completely silent.

Staff were all very friendly, lovely and helpful - they helped with our bags, gave great restaurant and activity recommendations and the bartender made delicious cocktails for our complimentary welcome drinks! The room was spacious and tastefully furnished and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates and we loved that there were two separate toilets which meant we did not have to fight over it! Another highlight was the buffet-style breakfast that was delicious and also included made-to-order omelettes and/or avocado on toast.

Breakfast was varied and you could order choice of eggs done to your liking along with coffees too. Location, I hadn’t been to these apartments previously and it took a while to get my bearings but once I was informed (from friendly Katarina) that it was 10 mins to my favourite Timeout Market (all downhill), I quickly appreciated the location as it was an ideal base to go off and back again.

The start of my stay was a Sunday, there was “shouting/bar noise” in the early hours and Monday night too. Lighting was atmospheric but personally I would have liked a reading light for downtime reading.

Wow!! We had the best stay here for my 30th birthday. The room was amazing, so clean and spacious. They were kind enough to leave a birthday cake and handwritten note on my actual birthday. The staff were amazing - especially the breakfast lady and the 2 bar staff - they made us some incredible cocktails and gave us great local recommendations. The room is completely soundproof and the bed was so comfy. The interiors of the hotel are so cool. Breakfast was lovely. Can’t fault it! Would 10000% recommend.

Honestly can’t fault it. At times there was a funny smell coming from one of the toilets but this wasn’t a major issue.

The room we chose was a loft with 2 bathroom (only one shower) and we liked having that. Also the breakfast was good and plenty of options! The small bar and comfortable seating in the lounge area was nice for a pre dinner drink. The female and male staff ( he served wine at the bar) (she had glasses but cannot recall her name) were fantastic and made our stay even better than it could have been). She gave wonderful recommendations and was a joy upon check in.

The room was so dark and didn't have much in terms of lighting. The wait time when ordering eggs was too long each of our 3 days. It was the only time we felt like staff wasn't eager to help Or maybe they need another person or have coffee available on the Buffet table. The tall gentleman taking orders, cooking the eggs/omelets and preparing coffee was slow and he wasn't very nice about it. We waited at least 20 minutes for 2 over easy eggs one morning. The rest of the staff was always great and super accommodating to our needs. Also, taxis and Ubers can't go on the street because it is too narrow so be prepared to walk with your bags about 3-5 minutes up a small hill where you get dropped off.

Staff was fabulous in this quirky, hip, clean hotel right in the thick of Bairro Alto. Get a room on the “G” side of the building as it’s quiet! Great kixology, fabulous free breakfast buffet, and wonderful recommendations for places to go.

The entire place was outstanding from the moment we arrived. The staff were all so helpful ! Andre and João were the best. They answered all of our questions and were so kind and accommodating our entire stay. They made our experience. The room was absolutely stunning. Breakfast was great as well! Perfect location!

The room was slightly hot but I think air conditioning in general in Europe hasn’t been the strongest compared to back in Canada. Otherwise nothing!

Loved the feel of the hotel. The artwork added to the ambiance. The staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and their positive attitude was infectious. The best customer service we have experienced in Europe. The breakfast was the best we have experienced in our recent travels.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Raw Culture Arts and Lofts hotel in Bairro Alto. The staff was absolutely wonderful and welcoming. The room was like a small apartment--large and spacious. The furnishings were simple but met our needs. The bed was comfortable. Our room had a living area, a dining table, a kitchen, and two bathrooms. One bathroom had a toilet and a sink (half bath), and the other had the shower and sink, with a second toilet in a separate room. The breakfast was very nice, offering an assortment of fruits, breads, meats, and pastries as well as eggs cooked to order. The hotel location was fairly quiet, though one night there was a lot of noise coming from people in the street, as if a bar had just closed down. The other nights were pretty quiet. The area was convenient to a lot of restaurants and sights. We walked everywhere in Lisbon. The only thing I might mention is that it is on a quiet side street that is not accessible to Uber. The driver had to drop us off a block over on the main street and we had to pull our luggage around the corner and up the cobblestone street. When we left, we took a taxi to the cruise ship terminal, and the taxis have an access code to get onto the private street so they were able to pick us up at the hotel. All in all, it was a nice stay and we would highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was great. Other than the noise in the street in the middle of the night one night, we were pleased with the location. It was a little hard to get to and it would have been nice if Uber could have had direct access to the hotel but it wasn't that big of an issue.
