Absolutely outstanding hotel. I loved everything about it. Very classy, comfortable, and luxurious. Check-in was very pleasant; I was warmly greeted, made comfortable, and the manger helped me with dinner reservations-- the restaurant (Nepomuk) was perfect for what I wanted. The bed and linens were very comfortable, and the robe and towels plush. The balcony was great. The view of the castle, bridge, and old town from the room and balcony were spectacular. The bathroom was huge. Everything was spotless. Breakfast was a surprise-- I expected a continental buffet breakfast, but instead was seated and presented with a 3-tiered tray of a variety of delicious things, and offered eggs and coffee. Exceptional service from the staff throughout my stay. Air conditioning was appreciated and worked fairly well, and the exterior windows & door do a great job of keeping out the street noise. It was an expensive room (for me) but a great value!

This property is absolutely beautiful with an amazing breakfast and view. Luka our host was so kind and upbeat. He helped with our luggage to our room. Felt like a French little Villa. I loved the art decor! The pictures and sculptures. It has a jacuzzi but had no time to enjoy it since we spent our time in the city which is across the bridge. Loved our location. We were fortunate there was a space for our vehicle so we were able to park on site but can’t count it if busy. I’d like to say thank you to the staff for being welcoming and for the kind note left in my room. We were also gifted a small bottle of wine and other goodies :)

The room itself was a bit too small for my taste and pricey. It was beautiful inside and the bathroom was disproportionately large lol but I did not mind that.

Breakfast was delicious, varied, and allowed for healthful eating. The staff bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable. The location is among the most desirable in Heidelberg. We cannot recommend this Hotel highly enough. This was an absolute treat!

The gym was subpar in terms of equipment quality and variety, but the stand-alone location of the gym in the hillside garden was breathtaking. Additionally the surrounding community offered ample opportunities for engaging in physical fitness outdoors. Parking is a challenge, but the facility has adopted a satisfactory compromise.

Beautifully decorated with a warm, inviting atmosphere, this hotel is perfectly located for visiting the old town and the Philosopher’s Path. The lady at reception was exceptionally kind and helpful, the breakfast was tasty and of good quality, and the view of the Neckar River and Heidelberg Castle is absolutely breathtaking.

The only small downside was the bathroom — although it has a separate door, the wall doesn’t reach the ceiling, so it’s not fully sound proof from the bedroom.

Beautifully fitted out and decorated common area and rooms. The suite I booked turned out to be bigger than I expected, and more importantly is very cozy and comfortable, especially the bed. The suite also has balcony with a stunning view of the river and Hiedelberg's old town from across the river. It even has a gym and an outdoor jacuzzi with lovely views located at the higher elevation of the hotel backyard. Because the property is located across the river from the old town, generally it is quieter as it is away from the hustle & bustle of the tourists. Nevertheless, it is only 5 minutes away on foot from the main bridge that gets you to the old town. The staff are genuinely friendly & informative - Luca is very efficient & accommodative, while Sofie is always welcoming. They kindly arranged for a pick-up from another small village I was at prior to the stay and the arrangement was hassle-free.

My suite is a pretty large one but with only air-conditioned unit, located at a corridor closer to the bedroom. As such, the living room, which is furthest away from the unit, gets a bit too warm, especially as I was staying during summer time. Generally, the hotel is very clean, but the staff needs to watch out on the cleanliness of the gym - probably not as frequently attended to as it is not highly utilised by guests. Finally, some of the suites can only be accessed after getting through staircases, as such one needs to inform any mobiliy restrictions to the staff during reservation (though it is not an issue for me).

Everything! Location is perfect. It is a wonderful design hotel. The room was excellent with great details. The breakfast was super. It was also great that the hotel had a private parking lot. But above all, the service quality was unbeatable. Everyone is the facility, from the front desk to the kitchen were extremely friendly. They really did their best to help us and enjoy our visit. A total 5 star establishment. We highly advice to everyone.

In the room we couldn’t find the lights of the kitchentte. Or maybe it wasn’t working. It is a tiny detail but it would be good to have extra lights in the entrance.

Beautiful view of the river and old town.clean tidy and spacious. Ten minute beautiful walk into the old town.Comfy bed. It’s basically a suite in a nice hotel. A great place so go and enjoy it.

Bedside lamps had such weak bulbs in that you can’t read by them.Easily sorted by low wattage LED bulbs. A shame not to do it as I had to read by mobile phone torch.coffee could be hotter but thats a Europe wide problem. Why do we have to ask for extra hot. I didn’t do it for sixty years.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is awesome! The location was perfect. The city and river views are spectacular!

The path to our room was a bit difficult to navigate with an elevator that only went so far that lead to a narrow gravel outdoor path and then a narrow flight of winding steps to the room.

The property is beautifully and tastefully decorated, with every detail thoughtfully included to meet our needs. Our room was spacious and featured a separate living area, which was a wonderful bonus. The location is perfect—just a short walk across the bridge to the Old Town. A lovely surprise was the hotel’s own ship moored just across the road, where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a meal while taking in the stunning views.

Great location with everything you need on your doorstep. Room was great and had a fairly good view over the river. Friendly staff.

Hot tub was in need of a clean and was smelling mouldy, strange rule relating to the inclusive drinks/snacks (not replenished by the day) if I was going for 2 nights I would make 2 separate bookings. Very expensive. Not a 5* hotel, this is 5* apartments.
