The location is fantastic. Right next to Canberra Centre, bus stops, and restaurants. We didn't have a car and got around great. We were lucky enough to stay there during the winter festival where they have free performances outside Canberra Centre. The room was comfortable with all the tools you might need in the kitchenette and the staff were really responsive.
It would be nice to have individual packets of oil or salt/pepper as that's the type of stuff you don't really want to buy in big quantity for a short stay. We were startled one night when we went in the kitchen and a cockroach darted across the countertops. I tried to get it but it escaped under the fridge. I don't know if we were unlucky or if you should be on guard! I reported it to the front desk the next day and they seemed genuinely surprised and said they'd get house cleaning to do a deep clean. I'm not sure that house cleaning did that or an insect spray as I had requested because the room didn't look or smell much different after we returned in the afternoon. Even with that unpleasant scare, I would stay again just for the location.

PERFECT LOCATION. Great insulation, didn’t get freezing if you forgot to turn on the heating before you went out for the day, it was still ambient when you got back to your room. Everything there is run on clean RENEWABLE energy. The Clover dining and Jaffles cafe were open early for breakfast. There was a selection of great quality wines, beer, cola, sparkling waters, and snacks in the room. I was glad I could cancel my daily housekeeping as I was there for 4 nights and didn’t need new linen everyday, and I earned hundreds of Accor points for that. Walking distance to everything! I’ll be back for sure. Taxi service pickup at the rear lane was great for privacy. I didn’t need parking as I flew in. I’m middle aged, female.
I lazily thought it’d be great to get room service delivery, but soon realised how many like minded people were at the two dining places I’d met and chatted to, which made it really pleasant.

Everything was clean and spacious. The facilities are great. They even prepared a dog bed for the dog. The water pressure was consistent and good for the shower with the water temperature being stable. Plenty of cafes and food nearby. The bus is right downstairs. It's walking distance to a shopping centre. The price of the stay is very reasonable given the quality of the hotel.
The parking arrangements are a little bit strange. They don't have their own car park and have a parking arrangements with a car park that is approximately 700 meters away. I travelled with two kids and a dog, so I had to leave the kids in the room, get the car, park at close by, then load everything in the car.

Fantastic Stay – Exceeded Expectations! I had an amazing experience at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The rooms were beyond my expectations—spacious, spotless, and with a great view. The beds were super comfy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The entire property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay, very close to the centre.
There was a heavy leak from the window during the rainstorm, but the staff quickly accommodated us with a room change the next afternoon, which I really appreciated. Despite this minor issue, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Excellent location and a nice medium between a hotel and an apartment. The hotel had a proper mini fridge, stove and microwave. The room was designed to minimise noise from the corridor. There was a hairdryer and ironing board. The gym was really good with proper equipment, kettlebells and dumbbells.
The staff member who checked me in was extremely rude and dismissive. However, I think this was a personality type because everyone else was lovely. Some of the cups in the kitchenette cabinet were clearly used and have not been washed.

Super clean - especially for a pet friendly hotel. They even had items for the dogs to use like bags, cologne, treats. In a good location in Canberra CBD near lots of eateries. We booked the night before NYE and was expecting something low quality because we also had to look for a hotel that was pet friendly for our dog and lots of places were booked out. Was pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a hotel that was sophisticated, clean and friendly for pets.
Parking is a bit of a pain but not really their fault. Just something to consider next time. There's two carparks: - one across the road but once you go in you can't come out otherwise you have to pay for the fee again (I think it was like $16 per night. - one in the government building which is a few mins walk from car to hotel. It's like $22 (not sure if it's per night or entire time as we only stayed one night ( if you get hotel to validate parking ticket but you can go in and out as you please. We chose to do this as it felt safer and we could leave to go places. Bit tricky to find entrance so ask for instructions. Would be really cute if they had a dog bed and some bowls in room for doggy as an additional touch but I'm sure they have reasons why they can't / don't do that

The car parking situation was horrendous. I wasn't informed that you can access the rear of the hotel where you can unload your baggage. The walk from the carpark in the shopping centre to the hotel was a hike especially with baggage. Beautiful hotel but wouldn't stay there again because of the parking situation. Also I was informed after I had paid for the accommodation online prior that there was no parking facility at the hotel. At 70 years old it was way too much and exhausting especially in the freezing cold.

Best pet friendly hotel we have stayed at! We almost walked out thinking we had the wrong hotel it was that nice (the dogs happily being walked around was the only telltale sign this was pet friendly). They were great with our 2 cats and the room was spacious enough for all of us. Location was very good and decent walking distance from everything. There is a zone where you can park near the side that allows you to park and unload luggage if you have a lot which was very helpful.
No parking - had to find one across the road which was slightly confusing where to go but was decent walking distance.

Lovely hotel and fantastic that its pet friendly. Comfortable bed hot shower and walking distance to the city centre. Coffee shop in the building
The lack of hotel parking . Though they provide several options the easiest for us was the park at central shopping centre snd was a short walk. Capped at $3 per day on weekends. If youre lucky u can score a public park across the road

The location is amazing. Only a few minutes walking distance from food court and shops.
Breakfast was served at a café across the street, and the service was disappointing. While the staff were friendly, there was one person, possibly the owner, who was particularly rude. Additionally, when you opt for the breakfast-inclusive package, the hotel charges you the same as other hotels that serve breakfast on-site. However, children are not included in this breakfast package. This is frustrating, especially since the hotel considers children when sizing the room and charges extra accordingly. It would be more fair to include breakfast for children in the package.
